Woah, my head is spinning. I honestly believe that Ms Hardt cannot write a bad book! This book was an emotional rollercoaster from page one! I just couldn’t put it down. I'm so in love with this world and all these main characters and side characters. The author knows how to pull you in and hold your attention from page one until the end. It was emotional, addictive and full of suspense, mystery and heat... SO MUCH HEAT!
Roy and Brock's story continues. They both continue to get closer to each other. Brock has a lot going on for him after the news his father gave him. He has finally realised his feelings for Rory and they continue to get stronger. These two deserve all the happiness in the world. I can’t wait for Scorch, their conclusion!

Holy man!! This book is unreal — so intense, super hot and insanely mysterious! Which is always the way with Helen. Just when you get some of the answers - 52 more questions arise! I love the references to the parents throughout all of this and I’m glad at least Talon and Jonah have been brought into the mix of trying to figure everything out. The heat between Brock and Rory lights this book on fire, and I’ve got to say that I’m a little bit sad at their recent discovery. I like how Dale, Donny, Brock. Callie, and Rory are all now pretty much working on this mystery together - it’s like they’re their own little Scooby Gang! Still with what we know I have no idea where this is going and it pisses me off! LOL I really want to know too!! But even if I thought I knew though, I’m sure Helen would creat an entirely different scenario and foil my prediction!! That’s why I love this Saga so much though - you just never know! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There are no secrets that time does not reveal...
Brock Steel is reeling emotionally from the news his father has dropped on him. He finds himself re-evaluating everything about his family. It has put a damper on his relationship with Rory. He has finally realized how he feels for her, but with all the newfound turmoil surrounding him, he finds himself second guessing everything.
Rory and Brock need to discover what the pieces of the puzzle mean and if they are connected to each other somehow. There are still many mysteries that need to be resolved and I can't wait to find out when that happens.

While good, getting repetitive now...
I've loved the previous story lines but it's all getting a bit repetitive now, not just from book to book but from chapter to chapter, almost like the author is bored of writing and just going for word count rather than substance in the stoyline...such a shame. While I've loved getting to know the charachters and would love to know what the original Steels did that was obviously criminal and shady. I'm starting to question if I can be bothered to carry on reading 10 chapters of things I already know to get to one nugget of new information... fingers crossed I can motivate myself to carry on reading...

I’m ready for a ending now
Ok 23 books in and I’m ready for it to be over. I mean how much crap can 1 family have right. I just want these to be over but now I’m invested so I have to read all the books. But 25 books in a series is a little over doing it.

Brock and Rory’s love story continues and so much family drama continues. More answers are uncovered, but many still remain unanswered. I can’t wait to read more and find out what happens with their love story and what comes of The Pike and Steel family.
Another cliff hanger but Helen Hardt does them best.

I found this book so mysterious and so very intense… thinking we are going to get to the bottom of things. And bam more questions come.. and little relief…. I wished I could keep on reading and never stopping. I hate waiting for the next book. Cause I need to know NOW!!

As they chase answers to the past, Brock and Rory are also traversing further into their relationship.

If this series actually ever ends, I think I truly won’t know what to do. Flare is the next installment in the never ending, amazingness that is the Steel Brothers saga. The book can be read in a standalone, or in series order, but be warned, there are quite a few in the series. -Giggle-
Brock Steel, womanizer extraordinaire won’t be tied to one woman, he’s not like the rest of his family. Rory however, is the exception to that. Feeling more confused and discombobulated than he ever has before after the bomb that his father dropped on him, Brock finds himself re-evaluating his family, his relationships with them, and what he thought his future was going to be. But not Rory. Rory however, never thought she would fall for Brock, he’s the biggest playboy and never seems to take anything serious. However, their connection isn’t something she can ignore anymore.
Brock and Rory have such a strong intense connection, their chemistry was absolutely breathtaking. They struggle to find their footing in what they have duped as a “relationship”, but the secrets that continue to be uncovered challenge them at every turn. With the help of Jonah, Talon, Dale and Callie, they slowly start to unveil secrets, but that just leaves them with more and more questions. Flare was everything I wanted it to be and more, suspenseful, exciting and oh so spicy. Even though the series spans more than twenty books, I always find myself waiting with bated breath for the next one to release.

This is a great book. Rory comes from a family that lost much of their livelihood when the fire spread through the valley. But that’s not the only problem in her life. Someone is threatening her and her sister with photos taken one night a long time ago.
Rory loves for who the person is… and when she an Bryce met, and connected, she is surprised by how fast she found she wanted to know more about him. Bryce has been a playboy for a long time, and his other, playboy cousins are falling in love and finding out there’s more to life. He’s not ready for that… or is he??
There’s some intrigue in all of the Steele books, and somehow that we don’t know quite yet, it all ties together. I enjoy the build up and the things that are being discovered. I love this series!
Helen Hardt has written quite a variety of genres.. and it doesn’t matter what she writes, I will read it. Because it’s not what she writes, it’s the development of the characters and stories that always makes me want to know more. She always makes me think, makes me wonder, and that keeps me reading and enjoying.

This is the twenty third book in the Steel Brothers Saga and the energy is ramping up with Brock and Rory. It is not a standalone as this is the continuation of Rory and Brock’s story but to fully understand the dynamics at play, one needs to begin with Craving, the first book in this incredible series. Brock and Rory are still trying to navigate their new relationship and although they are one the same page with their love for one another, they are still apart when it comes to starting a family. However, when new information comes to light and secrets seem to be unraveling, these two are ready and willing to jump into the fray to get answers. The unfolding drama will keep any reader on the edge of his/her seat. Ms. Hardt deftly illustrates the strength of the Steel family and the lengths they will go to protect their own. This storyline will get the heart pumping as it is filled with suspense, romance, passion and a whole lot more. This is one that you do not want to miss. I recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Brock Steel wants to uncover the truth about his family, and all the secrets that keep coming, while Rory Pike has her own secrets that don't make friends, and wants to keep them buried deep. Brock & Rory are a fantastic couple on a new journey, but it's not an easy one with all the bumps in the road. She wants forever, while he wants right now, but with the sparks flying between them, they can't stay away from each other even though they want different things. Little do these two know that their individual problems will become united. Every time I pick up a Helen Hardt (especially the Steel Brothers Saga), I know I'm down for the count until every last page is devoured. This book has heat, family secrets to have the twists coming in hot, a great supporting cast, and another amazing couple. I will say that while some questions were answered, I now have more that weren't answered as of yet so yeah, bring on the next book! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Rory and Brock fight the feelings they are developing for each other. Flare Burns Brightly....
I absolutely love the Steel Brothers series by Helen Hardt- and Flare was an exciting addition to the collection. This book focuses on the relationship between Brock Steel and Rory Pike and how they navigate through all the twists and turns impacting them and their families. They both do a lot of soul searching as they seek the truth and determine the best path forward. The next generation of the Steel family is proving to be as formidable as their parents. They are shocked to learn truths they were sheltered from and question everything they thought they knew. Both generations are also learning that the family is stronger when they work together. Flare is a page turner filled with mystery and intrigue. I can’t wait for the next installment, Scorch, to be released in December. I need to know what happens next!! 😉 Steel fans will love Flare!

Flare definitely burns bright with Brock and Rory.
Helen Hardt knows how to bring the past and the present together. We now see Brock and Rory falling in love with each other while dealing with secrets from their past but trying to work together to resolve them. With every turn, they find more and more questions but not all the answers they need.
What they do find is that the past is never really hidden or buried. I love how Flare is book 23 in the Steele Brothers Saga but there are so many twists and turns you never know which way to go. Love how now they have to bring in Joe and Talon as they now have give explanations that they hoped were well buried..
Truly an amazing series that just keeps getting better and better!!

Brock and Rory are like dynamite. Together they are nothing but explosive. Rory never would have thought that she would fall in love with none other than Brock Steel. Brock always thought that Rory Pike was the most beautiful woman in Snow Creek. He just never imagined himself falling in love. It turns out the Steel drama and the Pike drama are threatening their happiness. It would seem that their lives were always meant to be intertwined. The Steel saga never disappoints. Brock and Rory's story is steamy. The sparks between them ignited my kindle. The hardest part is waiting for the next book.

OMG Helen Hardt you have done it again 👏
What an intense read and what a cliffhanger my head is spinning.
Brock & Rory story continues, Brock realises his feelings for Rory that he did not know existed, as they try and figure out what they both really want secrets and lies are unfolding around them, Brock is reeling for the information that his father has told him that have been kept from some of the family and is now second guessing everything.
I am hoping they both are there for each other and get the ending they both deserve 😍
The series has never fails to disappoint, I can not wait for Scortch book 23 in the series 😁

I have been riveted by Rory and Brock’s story, this one sent up a flare in my mind. Brock at 24, is destined to be a Raketeer for several more years, but Rory digs down deep into his control and he fell deep. Rory is very infatuated by the potter patter of baby feet, but Brock is too young, in his mind and her’s. The heart wants what the heart wants, and Brock and Rory want each other. The Steel family secrets and Rory and Callie’s secrets are keeping connected and falling in love. These two are willing to tackle all the secrets before they get destroyed. Helen Hardt writes a great series and weaves all the thrills of a mystery into romance novels. Bravo can’t wait to keep reading.

I absolutely love the steel brothers series. So much so I have read all the books more than once.
With the release of this newest book, I reread the entire series. Each time you re read a book you gain more insight into the story, you discover things you may have missed when you read the before and an awareness of characters whom still haven’t open story lines.
This new book is no exception. Just when Helen gives you an answer to one question, 3 others are formed. I love that the original characters are still mentioned and are part of the unveiling of the truth. They themselves still have many questions that need answers, and it’s up to the new generation to seek the truth.

Thank you for my eARC of this book I absolutely loved it. The relationship so far between Brock Steel and Rory Pike is new but I know I I am here for it, and Brock is dealing with his family’s past and Rory is dealing with her past. Yes it has all the feels, yes it has the cliff hanger and now I am in a book hang over because I don’t want to wait till the next book but I will and I will be okay because I know it will be just a fabulous as this one. Even though we are now on the younger generation of the steels I feel like she is giving us more info from the older generation and I love this about the stories also. If I could give more than 5 ⭐️’s I would.

This story continues with Brock and Rory. Brock has fallen hard for Rory, and she has done the same. They have known each other for years but haven't connected until now.
They have both wanted different things in life, but now they are spell bound by each other and have fallen hard for one another.
These stories have now entered into the next generation of characters, and I am loving them!

Helen Hardt did is again with yet another page turner in the Steel Family saga. As we are still trying to figure out all of the secrets in the Steel family, Brock and Rory are still on fire but things are getting in the way and new clues are uncovered that lead to more questions. As this saga continues, we get to see how The Steel family's lives are changing and Rory and Brock have decisions to make. Rory and Callie are still trying to figure out how to keep their skeletons in the closet from coming out. This series just keeps getting better, I love the cliffhangers and I can't wait for the next Scorch at the end of the year!
