Alright, this volume was more focused. Even if that focus was on flashbacks. So many memories being recalled. At least now it is obvious that the Major was not the only competent one on the team. But still Section 9 still feels like they are just trying to figure things out. Also, Section 9 not a hit squad? I would say after the movie and TV series with all the spent ammo and dead bodies that killing was all Section 9 did well. Oh well just minor nits to pick with this volume. Now we wait for the next volume to show up and hopefully soon so I'm not reviewing volume 3 years from now.
The plot and characters are getting more defined, although there is a lot to keep track of. This cyber-techno-thriller moves at a fast pace and although I'm sure I'm missing some of the nuances, I'm quite entertained. Some of the political backstory is pretty relevant to real-life politics. The artwork is excellent.
