She was forbidden. But now, she is not. Marc"May I take your wife out on a date?" I know it's not decent to ask someone this. But, forgive me if I am being brutally honest. Or, a brute. The only thing that I wanted and wanted badly that evening was to hold her in my arms. And show her my city, the place I loved; the city of my birth - Goa.But, she hated me for it. And I didn't blame her.She was married after all..to him. Now, she is not. And she is back to where it all began. To my seaside resort in Goa. And this time, she will have to deal with me - the brute she never wanted. YaminiI lost my husband to an accident. I wasn't exactly close to him. But, he was my anchor in a world that seemed to get out of hand at times. I wasn't in love with him. Although I believed with time I would get there -- if only time was in our favor. In an attempt to forget him, I went to spend a month away from everyone. So I could heal. But, fate had other plans for me. I ran into him again. The man who said the unthinkable and did the indecent.A man whose touch sizzles my skin...even three years later.
The author selection of words is very flowy. The formation of the story is compelling as short stories and every aspect of the characters take part, but for a few who are memorising the loss, they seemed in life. The cover page of the book is too good-looking. The name makes any reader pick the book up as interesting, particularly for a booklover. I mean, you will know it if you are a bookworm. All the treasuries are so beautiful. There are a few poems, rhymes that you could also see in some short stories.
It’s great to see writers pushing the envelope and attempting stories which are not conventionally romantic. And yet managing to entertain and retain the suspense and drama.
