As the son of hockey royalty, Anton Petrov has both a reputation and a name to live up to. He’s always given everything to the sport, kept his head down—and focused on the game. Parties and women might come easily to him, but he’s not that interested. He’s never gotten over the one that got away—Sasha Kingsley.

When the FBI questions him about her disappearance, he begins to realize he can’t live without her.

Sasha grew up with the proverbial silver spoon. And that was before her mom married a legit European king. Now she’s a princess with expensive college degrees and absolutely no idea what comes next. Torn between passion and duty, she’s not sure how to survive her new status. When an unknown enemy sets their sight on Anton, she doesn’t know who to trust.

She broke Anton’s heart once to protect him—she’s not sure she’s strong enough to do it again.

This was such a great addition to the Sidewinders and a book right up my alley. Anton and Sasha’s story had some twists and turns and a little bit of mystery which I love. I also greatly enjoy how past characters are always revisited throughout Ms. Mizera’s books. This was a great read.

I was excited going into this one as I liked what we had seen of Anton and Sasha in the past and I thought they were good together, hated that it didn't last for them, but they were young. This second chance was so great, even if they had to fight for it tooth and nail. First they had their own issues to get past, then it seemed like Sasha's family was a HUGE obstacle, which was so bad as the family is close and this was driving a wedge between them and could have alienated Sasha. I liked that Anton was there for Sasha, or at least he was when she let him. I get why she didn't want to share everything, but all that did was come back to bite them in the ass.

I really loved how Anton kept going to Toli for support. Their relationship was so great and solid! I also loved how then the 2 of them had to go to Toli's father for help and how he kept popping up at unusual times, just when Anton needed him the most.

The ending to this one was great! I loved that finally everything was put in the past for them and they were allowed to live their lives happy, surrounded by all the family.

Anton is book 3 in the Sidewinders: generations series. This is your typical sports romance, the one that got away type of trope.

We meet our male MC Anton is quite the big deal on his hockey team. He's the son of a hockey legend. He commits himself to fully to the sport. Women come 'easy' to him, but he's never gotten over Sasha - the one that got away. The FBI suddenly shows up and questions him about Sasha's disappearance.. And that's what puts everything into perspective for him. He can't go on without her.
Sasha is a literal princess. Her mom married an European King. She's struggling with her role in life and what she wants. This is when an enemy sets sights on Anton... and Sasha would do anything to protect him, including breaking his heart a second time if necessary.

There were a few twists in this storyline that I didn't see coming, which is always is a good addition in any book. This was a great addition to this series, and I've already started the next book!

Anton and Sasha

The Sidewinders series is adding yet another winner with Anton and Sasha’s story. Anton is Toli’s son and he is making his way in hockey as well by being a great player and a good person. He and Sasha had a relationship when they were younger but then she left but their feelings never really went away. Sasha has decisions to be made that will affect both Anton and herself.

There is drama and suspense and lots of twists and turns. Will these two really get their second chance? As always Ms. Mizera brings another amazing story in the Sidewinders series.

Oops I did it again and read another book before writing my review. I was so glad Anton and Sarsha found their way back together, they had been left open ended but I would have been sad if either of them had been with anyone else. I appreciated the other relationships explored in this book and navigating the tricky parts of people playing multiple roles: bodyguard/friend; royalty/parent

Unfortunately it's been a while since I was immersed in the Sidewinders/Royal Protectors world and just couldn't get back into it very quickly with this book. Kat Mizera's books are ones that you want to binge read all the series in one go.

Still... I was hoping to really get into Anton and Sasha's story more than I actually did. It's more of the political drama and less of the hockey with appearances of many of the other characters of past books popping up all over the place.

Well written but the story wasn't for me. I actually read myself in to this one, I was less blah about it than I thought because I pushed through after I nearly abandoned a third in.

Anton and Sasha fell in love hard and fast when they were younger. Anton wanted to drop out of college and marry Sasha. Sasha was being pulled in different directions and knew she couldn't allow Anton to walk away from his future, so Sasha broke up with Anton breaking both of their hearts. Anton and Sasha reconnect at Club Inferno on Anton's birthday. They both still feel the connection and chemistry that exists between them that leads to sex in the hallway outside the bathrooms. Anton is mad when Sasha disappears after their tryst, and Sasha is upset when she believes Anton just wanted sex. Sasha and Anton text back and forth and agree to see each other when she returns from visiting her family. Sasha is upset when Erik and her mother forbid her from seeing Anton because of his grandfather's ties to the Russian KGB. Sasha and Anton still have feelings for each other and want to see if they have a future together. When Anton's brakes fail and is jumped in an alley, he and Sasha fear King Erik is trying to tear them apart. What will Anton do when he fails a drug test? Will Anton be able to prove who drugged him? What is Sasha willing to do to protect Anton? Will Anton's grandfather be able to prove to King Erik that he is no threat to his country? How will Anton react when he learns that Sasha was pregnant when they broke up the first time? Will Anton forgive Sasha for walking away a second time? Who is behind the attacks against Anton? Will Anton and Sasha find their happily ever after? I loved Anton by Kat Mizera! Anton and Sasha's love story has been a long time coming. Anton and Sasha have loved each other for a long time. Anton and Sasha have amazing chemistry. Anton and Sasha could be frustrating at times because they refused to communicate with each other about how they were feeling. I love how supportive Anton's family is. I found it equally frustrating how Erik and Casey were toward Sasha and Anton. Anton had me hooked from beginning to end. I absolutely loved Anton and would highly recommend getting Anton by Kat Mizera. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.

After reading the blurb and finding out that Anton is Toli’s son. I knew I needed to get this book on my Kindle ASAP. I love his level headedness as the coach of the Ft. Lauderdale Knights. Anton is a young player, recently out of college and playing for the team in Vegas. He has a lot of history with the team, and a lot of friends and
connections in Vegas. Kat does not mess around and hooks readers from the start. And we get Toli involved early for all you Toli fans! I really fell in love with Anton. He seems very mature for his age, and knows what he wants, and has a good head on his shoulders. And his friend group on the team just makes my heart happy!
Sasha and Anton have history, and she is not new to readers if you have read previous Sidewinders books. Sasha was Toli and Tess’ nanny as well as being romantically involved with Anton. However, the pair parted ways and Anton focused on college and his hockey career. Sasha, too focused on school. Meanwhile her life became more complicated. Her adoptive mother is married to a King, making her a princess. I will say I was confused for a while by all of the players in Sasha’s life, so I had to write it all down. Once you get the players straight it all makes sense.
It is clear from the first interaction on page these two have an amazing connection. These two cannot stay away from each other, and it isn’t all physical; they have an emotional connection that is clear to readers. When Sasha’s family and position begins to put pressure on their new relationship. When a series of events begins to cause more tension between Sasha, her family, and Anton. This book really read like a romance suspense with hockey, so I was obviously a HUGE fan. If you love a big family, a lot of feels, and some serious intense connections this is the book for you!

GAH, I love Kat Mizera so much because one of the characteristics of her writing is keeping her readers on their toes, even when the story is winding down! You just can’t stop turning those pages as fast as your eyes can go even though you don’t want the story to end! She captivates so strongly with her storylines and always develops her characters in a realistic manner even when their circumstances might not be in- touch with an every-day person. She accomplished all this in this story and then some!

Anton and Sasha’s journey was full of surprises for me. I didn’t quite know what to expect based on the blurb as far as personalities etc etc because I haven’t actually read any of the original Las Vegas Sidewinder books yet! Anywho, it turned out to be a fantastic reading experience for me. The suspense and drama plot-point blended really well with their romance journey and truth be told, it enhanced it because of who they are. I loved that Kat made the choice to make their chemistry so intense because it ran well with the drama plot-points. I was honestly fully invested from page one till the end. I couldn’t get enough! I also loved that they both had their own personal circumstances to hurdle and also as a couple to navigate to a HEA.

I highly recommend this story to any of you that love a little intrigue in your romance fiction mixed with a whole lot of heart and passion wrapped in a cocoon of family and friends! It pretty much has everything you could ask for!

Anton and Sasha are smoking hot together and their story is an intense and wild ride to a HEA.

After dating for six months, Sasha suddenly broke up with Anton giving him little explanation or one that made sense to him. Now three years later she is brought back into not his life when FBI agents question him just minutes prior to the start of a hockey against his dad’s team.

The years apart haven’t dimmed the feeling or attraction these two young lovers have for one another. Hurt feelings and confusion need to be cleared away if they want to revive their relationship. Their journey to a HEA has unusual obstacles, drama, and so much extra to get through. Anton just wants Sasha back in his arms and his life where he can love her. Sasha struggles with what she may have to give up to enable her to be with Anton, he’s worth it, but it’s still a very stressful and overwhelming situation.

Kat Mizera brings a story filled with passion, palace intrigue, angsty drama, action and a large cast of wonderful characters, many who are longtime favorites! I love how she weaves characters from several interconnected series and has them ‘pop in’ for a cameo visit or to help drive the story! I can’t wait for Kat’s next release regardless of what series it may be from or who it’s about!!

I received a free ARC from the author and Elle Woods PR; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Even though they had been broken up for 3 years, neither Anton nor Sasha had really moved on relationship wise. When fate brings them together again, it was only too easy to fall back into what they once had, even if they knew that nothing had been resolved over their original breakup.

But now, the stakes are even higher with Sasha’s ties toi Limaj and the royal family and Anton’s ties to Russian intelligence. One thing, however, is for sure, they are meant to be together no matter how many people are trying to tear them apart!

Anton was a crossover between Kat’s hockey world and her world of Limaj. I adored how fiercely both Sasha and Anton love, even if their communication skills are lacking at times. The pressures facing them as a couple are incredible and when danger seems to be chasing Anton down, they’ll need to rely on unexpected friends and family to get to the answers they need.

I adored Toli and Tessa and even Anton’s mysterious grandfather. I have to be honest that I really didn’t like King Erik or Kasey for a good portion of the book (you’ll have to read to know why). But I loved the overall message that family comes in so many forms from friends to teammates to step siblings and parents and more. 4 stars for this second chance romantic suspense with hockey players and royalty all mixed together seamlessly.

Kat Mizera gets a hat trick with book three in the Sidewinders: Generations series, ANTON. Anton Petrov is the son of Anatoli “Toli” Petrov (Anatoli, Las Vegas Sidewinders #4). The story starts out with the FBI coming to talk to Anton about the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend, Sasha Kingsley. Sasha is the adopted daughter of Casey Hart (The Nowhere Trilogy). Casey married Erik, who is an Eastern European King of Limaj. Anton has never gotten over Sasha. Things become complicated because Anton’s grandfather is a KGB agent.

I enjoyed the plot of this story. Anton and Sasha are the love of each other’s lives. They were apart for three years. There are many complications with their relationship. Sasha struggles with never having a choice with what she gets to do because of Casey marrying Eric. Anton barley knows his grandfather but is accused of being a possible sleeper agent. To say the story is interesting is an understatement.

I love that so many characters from Kat Mizera’s other series are included in this novel, including the Inferno and Royal Protectors series. ANTON is a fast-paced attention-grabbing story. It was skillfully written and thought provoking. It is an excellent addition to the Sidewinders: Generations series. I’m looking forward to Van’s story next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This is Sasha and Anton's story and it was filled with romance, excitement and drama. In the story we meet Anton (Toli's son) when he is 23 and Sasha is the same age. They dated when they were 19-20 but broke up and haven't really connected since then. That is until the FBI goes knocking on Anton's door....

Sasha is Casey's adopted daughter and Eric's stepdaughter. They both play a huge part in this story though this book also easily stands alone. (I never read Casey and Eric's series.)

We also get to see the Sidewinder's and Lexi. Tessa and Toli also have big parts in this story. We also get to see a lot of the Royal Protectors as they help keep Sasha safe.

This was a very suspenseful book and I adored Sasha so much. She is such a strong woman and I loved her for Anton as well. We also get quite a few scenes with Anton's grandfather, who is a Russian spy.

If you are a fan of the authors romances, Sidewinders or any of her other series, don't miss this book. It was an awesome second chance at romance and I adored every minute of it.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I swear every Sidewinders book I read gets better and better. Anton and Sasha's love story has been slowly brewing off the pages for awhile now and I'm so happy they finally got their HEA. I love second chance romances! Especially second chances that were meant to be. Once I started reading this book I just couldn't put it down. I loved it that much.

Anton is just swoon worthy. He is so full of love for Sasha that he could make any girl envious of her! His family is amazing (I never read Toli's book but I so want to now) and so supportive. I hated the things that were happening to him and why. He never deserved any of that and I'm glad he had people backing him up.

I loved Sasha's strong will. She took an emotional road trip that I hated to see her on. But she kept going... all for her love of Anton. That right there spoke volumes to me and made me want to fight along side her for that HEA.

I loved this book so much that I'm curious to know if Van's book can top this couple. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Where do we find Anton and Decker at the beginning? What happens? Who is Sasha? Why does she have a bodyguard? Where was she supposedly going? Who are Solange and Axel? I laughed so hard when I learned what was going on, or what had happened! Where do Decker and Anton go when they meet up with some teammates? When they get to their desitnation, what does Anton notice? What nickname is Anton given the next day at practice and by whom? What conversation does Anton have with his father almost half-way through the book? I loved the Q&A session!!! That made me smile. What phonecall does Anton make to Sasha, that ultimately prompts a phonecall from his grandfather to ask only one question? What happens when Anton is on a two-week away trip between Halladay and Anton? Oh, Sasha's internal comment at the end of chapter 30 had me gasping and realizing my thoughts were correct. I got so angry with Sasha about 80% of the way into the story. What happens with Sasha when she goes to Limaj? Who comes to Anton's rescue? Oh my gosh, when the royals come to Vegas at the end, Erik's comment had me laughing so hard.

The book every Sidewinders fan has been waiting for has arrived…and it was worth the wait! Kat Mizera has given us an Anton that is sexy, sweet, possessive and ALL grown up! Readers know any son of Toli is going to be a stand up guy, but Anton has all the traits you love in Toli, while being his own man. He and Sasha have been down the road of romance before and it didn’t work out. Both are very entwined in one another’s lives through family and friends, but when they finally allow themselves to consider a future again, things get hot, passionate and all consuming, in the blink of an eye. Sasha has her own complicated family situation and together these two have a lot of obstacles to overcome. After 3 years apart though, it is obvious to anyone near them that they are meant for one another. There is some danger, suspense and a whole lot of the things readers love from a Sidewinders book, so when you get ready to start this story, give yourself a few hours because putting it down is impossible!

I’m loving everything about the Sidewinders:Generations Series and Anton is my favourite so far. This is Anton Petrov and Sasha Kingsley’s second chance at love and their story will appeal to a wide range of audiences.
Anton knows what he wants, he plays hard on and off the ice but truth be up told he has never gotten over his first love. When Sasha walked away she took a piece of his heart with her and now he finds himself being questioned by the FBI when Sasha goes missing. So can Anton help find Sasha and when dangerous and mysterious things start happening to him will their love be strong enough to survive. You are going to need to be click the book to find that out.
This story ticked all my boxes, I fell hard and fast for Anton, I adored the strong and sassy Sasha but it was the family dynamics that took this romance to another level. Kat Mizera is one of my go to authors, I love her writing style and I love her characters and this book is one of her best. Anton will certainly be on my list of top reads of 2022.

This book has been a long time coming! We see and hear about Anton and Sasha in a few other books in this series. Anton has always been just Toli son in the previous books but now we get to see the man that he has become. He is a loyal and determined man to those that he loves and respects. The risk that he is willing to take to be with the love of his life is truly something every woman dreams of. Sasha is dealing with the consequences of a life that she was thrown into but never wanted. The fact that she is willing to give up everything including her relationship with her mom for Anton is something that shows just how much she loves him. It amazes me just how much both of these characters are willing to give up to protect the other. The plot twist at the end kept me on my toes and not something I expected but absolutely loved. As always it was great to see characters from past books and series take such active rolls in stories. Also, loved meet new characters and can't wait for their books.

5 Star Review Anton (Sidewinders Generations #3) by Kat Mizera

Anton Petrov is known as a fierce competitor on and off the ice. He could have any woman he wants but he is driven and focused and tends to hold him elf aloof from the constant partying that his fellow players indulge in.

However he is also a man who has never gotten over the one woman who got away, Sasha Kingsley, a woman who left him in order to protect him. Now Sasha is missing and the FBI are questioning him.

As danger rears it’s head will Sasha and Anton come back together, come to terms with the past and in doing so find a lasting love? The chemistry between Anton and Sasha is intense and I enjoyed the intrigue as they travelled a rocky road to get their happily ever after.

Kat Mizera’s stories are always engaging with wonderful characters who have depth and I for one cannot wait for her next release.

Things are so much better the second time around

Anton was a highly anticipated read for many of Kat Mizera’s readers and Kat definitely delivered! Ever since readers were first introduced to Anton, Toli’s son from the original Sidewinders series, we have anxiously been waiting for his story and this anticipated read exceeds expectations.

Watching Anton and Sasha reconnect and the chemistry between them become full-blown was endearing for the reader as it was between these two characters. The storyline was intense, emotional, intriguing, and suspenseful - it had a little bit of everything for everyone. Not only did I absolutely love the connection between Anton and Sasha, but I also loved how other central characters from previous novels in the series were incorporated. This is a second chance storyline that delivers above and beyond – it was fun, sexy, swoon-worthy with sizzle and substance. Not to be missed!

“Anton” is a passion filled, suspenseful and action packed hockey romance that I could not put down.

Anton and Sasha broke up 3 years prior after a whirlwind relationship. The feelings they have for each other are still there and when fate brings them back together, they can’t deny it anymore. But someone or something is trying to sabotage their relationship.

This book was so much fun to read. I loved the added suspense of trying to figure out why someone wanted Anton and Sasha apart. Anton was alpha hockey player perfection. I loved how close he is to his family and how they’re always there for him. Sasha was so wonderful and I loved how even with her crazy family life, she thrived for independence. The epilogue was perfect and left a big smile on my face. The references of other fictional teams was so good and made me smile. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Anton is a fabulous second chance read. I loved this one so much. Anton as you may know is Toli's son and plays for his father's old team the Sidewinders. He has been in love with Sasha for years. Sasha is the daughter of Casey and stepdaughter to Erik from the Nowhere Trilogy. She is a princess who knows what she wants is doesn't like that her choices are made for her. You feel the love between Anton and Sasha that is so strong even after time apart. They have such a beautiful connection, and you feel for them as forces try to keep them apart as they reconnect. There is such a wonderful fight for what you love with this one. Sasha and Anton will suck you in and will not let go. You will not be able to walk away from this steamy couple as they do whatever it takes to be together. I love Sasha and Anton. I'm so in love with the Sidewinders Generations and cannot wait for more to come.

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and this is Anton and Sasha’s story. Anton is Toli’s son, and he has a lot to live up to being from hockey royalty, but he has kept his head down and focused on the game. Anton has never forgotten Sasha, the one that got away, and now 3-years later, when he is questioned by the FBI about her disappearance, he is determined to find her. Can these two have a second chance at love? This is a beautifully written story which has undeniable chemistry, drama, suspense, danger, intrigue, twists, challenges, mystery, family, friendships, romance, emotions, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is book 3 in the Sidewinders: Generations series and while it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone read, this book takes place in the same universe as the authors other series. This can be good, but since I haven't read all of the books that these characters were from it left me confused and daunted over the sheer number of mothers, fathers, stepfathers, siblings, grandparents.
However, just taking Anton and Sasha's story and shutting our my confusion, I can say that I really enjoyed it. Sure, it might be totally unrealistic, but it was fun and added some unusual drama and twists in what essentially is a second chance romance.
The writing is tight between the characters and the emotions of Anton and Sasha felt believable. Overall, I really enjoyed this book but it's probably best enjoyed if you're familiar with the writers other books.

This book was quite the ride!!

There is so much going on with this read, total page turner! This can be read as a stand alone, however there are a lot of characters in this read that have their own stories as well. Anton is a really likeable character, he will fight for what he wants and be real with Sasha. He needs closure to move on or try being together to see if they've grown from before. This was a wonderful second chance romance, where they were able to grow up a little, experience others, to see that what they had was real. There is a lot of action and things happening, drama, steam, everything that makes a good read. The ending gives you all the answers you need and your happy ever after!

Anton and Sacha’s story!

I originally thought that Anton would be a normal second chance romance but it is nothing of the sort when it starts with the FBI wanting to talk to Anton Petrov because his former girlfriend Sasha Kingsley is missing. Anton and Sacha had dated for a short time and then she broke it off three years ago when he started to get really serious and she wasn’t ready and Anton hasn’t forgotten her. Sacha hasn’t forgotten Anton but now she has to deal with her feelings that never went away but it seem the world doesn’t want them to get together.

You need to read Anton because Anton is all grown up and he get a chance with Sacha again plus it is a crossover book for so many of Kat Mizera’s other series so you need to read then too!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author and Elle Woods PR. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Three years after Sasha broke his heart, the FBI comes to question Anton when she goes missing and he realizes that he has always and will always love her. So when a chance meeting leads them to rekindle their relationship, both Sasha and Anton want to take that chance. Being part of the royal family of a small European country that has a lot of enemies, Sasha discovers that her mom and stepdad, the king, are not happy about this rekindling and forbid her to have anything to do with Anton. But the chemistry between these two is flammable and it seems like nothing can keep them apart, until a series of dangerous events threaten their safety and their relationship. The heat in this book is sizzling and will keep you entertained until the very end.

4 1/2 STARS!

Decadently forbidden! Fans of Kat Mizera's varying characters will be in for a treat with the latest in her Sidewinders: Generations series, because there's a twist of Royal Protectors and a hint of Rock Hard all rolled into an addictive hockey reunion!

Anton is a fun character to mesh with. He's hockey royalty, yet down to earth and immersed in his game, but still finds time for family and loves hard.

Sasha is complex and conflicted. She battles herself on whether to give in to her heart or go along with what her family is telling her to do.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys an intense hockey romance with a close knit team finding love one after another. They play hard, but love even harder.

Somehow this guy named Anton and this woman named Sasha kept me up ALL night!! I got maybe 2hrs of sleep. They were meant to keep me company tomorrow on my plane ride but pushed their way into my eyes last night and wouldn't leave me alone!!

I've been looking forward to Anton and Sasha's story for a while! As have many of Kat's readers!! He's the son of a a favorite character this massively sweet, romantic, cuddle bear of a Russian hockey player, Toli.

Toli, it's NOT your book!! Shhh

I love second chance romances and this one pulled no punches! It brought me to tears a couple of times!! The chemistry was off the charts. The families made me furious, sad and awed in the same interactions!!

Absolutely fantastic read!!
