He wrote mystery, action/adventure, science-fiction, crime fiction, suspense, short stories, nonfiction, and was a comic scriptwriter, poet, screenwriter, essayist, and metaphysical scholar. Mack Bolan must prevent mass casualties when Soviet-era chemical weapons wind up in South America as a border dispute between Ecuador and Peru threatens to turn into a shooting war.
Solid entry in The Executioner series, as Bolan follows the trail to the chemical weapons. He must also dodge assassins, as his cover is almost immediately blown due to a leak in his own department.
This is the first book in the series I have read by this author, who did a good job of capturing the essence and style of the series. It doesn't skimp on the action, but also develops the characters both aiding Bolan and are his targets.

not your normal Executioner plot with him joining a local Mafia son in Peru but a good read.
