Can her strength save them all?

Tyler Buchanan had always been strong. Physically, she could out muscle most men. As a welder at the Houston ship channel, she had become known as a woman that could get the job done. So when a stranger, an old acquaintance, and a very sexy FBI agent shows up at her door asking for help, she can’t exactly refuse them.

Dex Tanaka is a no nonsense, nose to the grindstone, type of government agent. When he discovers that young teenage girls are disappearing from the streets of Washington, D.C., he jumps into action. The only problem is, they seem to be disappearing without a trace. Following a vague trail to Houston, Dex is left with one last hope to find the girls before it is too late.

Can Dex rely on the unusual gifts of his new friends to find the girls before it’s too late? Or will he lose them all trying?

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5)
Trope: Protector
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

I really want to like this series, but I find the writing a little bit difficult and this one in particular was just too slow. The series has a super interesting and original storylines and I like the blend of action/romantic suspense with the paranormal. I'll definitely give the author another try!

This was a good read. The storyline was interesting, and I loved that the heroine had a job in such a male dominated field. The chemistry was evident, and I found Tyler and Dex likable. An entertaining blend of romance, intrigue and twists held my attention well. This is my frank, freely posted review.

Tyler has been building her life as a welder at the shipyards in TX. With her unusual strength she doesn’t have to rely on anyone but herself. When someone she knew briefly in her past shows up at her door she feels compelled to help. Dex met Knox and Memphis when he helped rescue the senator’s daughter. Now he is calling in the favor in return.

I am new to this author and wow what an introduction! I read Invinible before reading book 1 and it read fine as a standalone. There is enough background to not feel lost. I did go back afterwards and read book 1 for the details. I was a little worried at the beginning as there is a dark undertone to the story but it is not the only focus of the story. Loved Tyler and how she has taken on a career primarily held by men and she is doing it best. This series has a little paranormal twist that added a little something different. Looking forward to Knox’s story.

Steamy, romantic action/suspense…

If there is an example of ‘clicking right away’ that would be Tyler and Dex. The flirting began right away even as their coming together was to help solve a human trafficking ring. A serious subject that gained somber attention even as this romantic suspense delivered on all fronts…

Tyler was so strong, physically and mentally. She was attracted to Dex and was all in, yet there was always that underlying thread, that hint of, a fear of rejection. Dex was both bewildered and enthralled with the goddess that was Tyler and he showed it, in every step…

I always wondered about the series title. There are serious paranormal elements in these stories for sure, yet the sheer humanness of the characters, their strengths and vulnerabilities, and how they react to the ever-changing events… Well, it all screams ‘human’ really…

I will label this read, and the ones that came before it, simply groovy reading!

*I happily reviewed this story

I liked this book much more than the first installment. The ML was introduced in the previous story but we didn’t get a lot about him. The FL is new to the series. I liked both characters immediately and their chemistry was off the charts. She is the one with the special ability instead of one of the guys and she is definitely a strong person in more ways than one. A great follow-up to the first book, this one is more interesting and didn’t drag with a lot of extraneous filler scenes.

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read with an unusual story.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and BookSirens and was under no obligation to leave a favorable review. All opinions are my own.

Meet Tyler, a welder at the Houston port with superhuman strength, and Dax, a by-the-book FBI agent on the trail of a young woman who's been kidnapped. They suspect that a human trafficking ring is using the port to ship women out of the country. With surprises, action, crimes, and an unlikely romance, this is an exciting story. I read the series in order, and think that this would probably be okay as a standalone. I had the opportunity and time to read all four books in order, even though my reviews are out of order. (Note to author: I'll have the rest of them completed soon.) I received an advance copy of the book, and this is my honest review.

There was a lot of action throughout this story while we learned about Tyler and more about Dex, Knox, and the others. The connection between Tyler and Dex was quick and strong, and they seemed to complement each other. I enjoyed all the characters, getting to know them better, and watching how they supported each other, no matter what was happening. I recommend this story if you enjoy romantic suspense, and I look forward to the rest of Knox's story.

I received a copy of this story through Elle Wood Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

Decent read with a little paranormal action!

I liked the characters, Knox is probably my favorite! It did take me a little bit to get into this read, as it seemed to drag on in spots. However, when it was good you didn't want to stop! This is Tyler and Dex's story, and they are a cute couple. I had a hard time picturing Tyler in my head, super strong but Dex could lift and move her around. I loved the bantering and comaderie between every one. It did seem slow at times, and I skimmed a little bit, but otherwise it was a good read!

DEX AND TYLER

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

Tyler is Memphis and Knox’s half-sister. Dex is the FBI agent who worked with Memphis and Knox to save Thayer. This time they’re working on a kidnapping that may have something to do with human trafficking. Tyler’s ability is having abnormal strength. I like the way she and Dex hit it off immediately. I like the way the story progresses with the siblings working together. It has an HFN for Tyler and Dex and a cliffhanger for Knox and Greer, Tyler’s best friend.

This is such a great book. I could not put it down. The continuation of Knox's family begins with finding he and Memphis have a sister in Houston. Dex Tanaka makes a reappearance from book one. There is a sex trafficking ring that has taken a family member and the group works to get her and all the other women back. Dex and Tyler, the sister, fall in love while Knox gets chummy with Greer, a friend of Tyler. I highly recommend this book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Took me a while to get into, I think it’s the style of writing as I’m used to reading books from dual point of view.
I did enjoy the story when I eventually got into it, it kept me engaged, I liked the special abilities aspect, that’s something different to what I would normally read but I found myself more interested in Knox and Greer than I was Tyler and Dex so I will be reading their story when it’s released

Tyler is a welder, a woman working in a man’s world, buts she’s darn good at what she does. When she’s asked to help in the search for missing girls stolen off the streets, she can’t very well say no, and it’s a race against time with the hope that they aren’t too late. I really enjoyed Tyler and Dex’s characters, but found myself loving Tyler just a bit more. This was an exciting story and it kept me intrigued and turning the pages. I’m looking forward to reading the next book!

First, I love it when books are set in places I'm from, or know the whereabouts of said setting. So Kudos for that. Second, this story was very unique and even though I haven't read the first book, I had absolutely no problem with getting to know these characters. They were full of adventure, they were smart, and hot. 🔥 So with that being said, I look forward to getting to know them even more, they are definitely worth waiting for.

This author just gets better and better! This book has great character development, action, mystery and romance. The dialogue was very on point for the character’s personalities. If you haven’t tried her books, you’re missing out! I can’t wait for the third novel in this series, I have a feeling it will be one of my favorite HEA stories from A. S.

I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read the first book in the series and there were some small details that would have added to this book but it wasn’t anything major and didn’t take away from Dec and Tyler’s story. I did want to know more about the characters abilities and their background. Maybe those answers will be given in Knox and Greer’s story.

Tyler is a welder in Houston, Texas. A badass woman making it in a man's world. She works hard and lives happily with her smart mouthed roommate, her only concern, tomorrow's job. That is until two men come banging on her door. Now she's embroiled in a race to find the women snatched off of a Washington, DC street destined to be smuggled out of the country to the highest bidder.

With the help of one grumpy teacher, one laid back veterinarian, and her feisty roommate, she's asked to call on all her abilities to find the women. And did I mention the distraction of a straight-laced, buttoned down FBI agent that makes her toes curl? Who said insta-lust wasn't a real thing?

I hope you enjoy Invincible, the 2nd book in the Inhuman Protector Romance series. Spoiler alert: there's nothing slow-burn about this one!
