Everyone has the right to make a mistake, … but the one Naira made isn’t one Scott can forgive. He wakes from a coma, sure that the ex-love of his life had been at his side, but finds no sign of her. When he does see her, he can’t get past a long-ago decision she’d made that tore them apart. Naira had hoped that Scott would protest her decision way back when, but he didn’t say anything to stop her. Heartbroken, she went ahead with the business marriage to appease her father, which ends in divorce. When Terk called, she came running to Scott’s bedside, even knowing he’d hate to see her when he woke up. But she has always loved him and can only hope he might find his way back to her. But finding his way back to the team is on his mind, with Naira second. Except that the operatives who took down his team initially are coming around and trying to pick off everyone left alive—and all the people they hold dear, … like Naira.

When Scott wakes from his coma after being attacked he sees Naira. Their relationship ended when Naira told Scott she was marrying someone else. Even thought Scott is still angry with Naria, when she is attacked Scott needs to protect her. The team decides that the attacks must stop, and the team needs to go on the offensive. After they catch the men sent to kill them, they still don’t know who was behind the attacks. I can’t wait for the next book to find who is behind the attack!.

The team is back after another of there warriors wakes up. Scott is part of Terk’s team that was attacked and left in a coma.
Naira thinks Scott doesn’t care because he let her go but that but when he needed her she came.
She had to find balance in all this craziness and to acknowledge the fact that, somewhere along the line, it seemed like maybe something was between them still, or she had hoped so at least.
Another great installment of this series and one step closer to the truth.
Naira and Scott's relationship was a very long time ago. They ended when Naira made the decision to marry for a business arrangement. At the time she hoped he would protest or at least give some indication that he cared for her. Now divorced, she hadn't hesitated when Terk called that Scott needed her. She still loves him but is certain he doesn't feel the same, although Terk assures her that isn't the case.
When Scott wakes from the coma, he's hungry and when Terk arrives with Naira he's still eating, much to his nurse's dismay. The thing is he doesn't seem at all pleased to see Naira and tells her so. In his mind, marriage, regardless of the reason for it should be sacred. So even though Naira is free to begin a relationship, he doesn't feel it should be with him.
Naira is ready to pack up and leave but Terk asks her to think about it before she does anything rash. She doesn't get a chance though as she's shot on her way into the hotel.
Scott rushes to the hospital against his nurse's advice. He's there every time she wakes and finally when she's a bit better they start to talk.
Everything changes for them when Terk brings her back to her hotel. Before she makes it inside, she's shot. Of course, Scott insists on going to the hospital even though he still isn't fully recovered. He compromises by getting a cot in Naira's room so he can rest when she does. Things are escalating on the outside though and there's another attempt on Naira's life.
With no other options, Terk brings both Scott and Naira to the compound. These two have much to work through and they both have to stop and listen to each other.
Plenty of tension in this one as there is more escalation from their opposition. They also need a plan to be on the offensive not strictly defensive.
Pieces are coming together slowly, and there's both action and romance as they figure things out.
Another team member has joined the group! With Terk’s assistance and bringing in his ex, Naira, to give him healing vibes, Scott has come out of his coma with a boat load of questions and raring to go! One important question Scott has is “why is Naira here”? She left him years ago to get married, or did she?
Naira came running when Terk said Scott was injured and needed her. Scott’s reaction to her has her confused and angry. I didn’t care for her personality. I thought Naira acted very contrary and difficult to deal with. She is abrasive in her delivery and argues with anyone in the group who asks her questions, especially Scott. She even treats Terk with disdain at times. I love to hate on a brat!
I’m not sure what Scott’s super power is, but I feel he is trying really hard to get caught up on what has been going on prior to his recovery. He’s having a hard time absorbing the reason behind all of the attacks on the team. I feel that Naira finally gets the purpose of the group once they are attacked at the Penthouse safe house and she actually sees her attackers and their cavalier attitude targeting her and their lack of compassion towards taking her life.
It took Naira some time to see and admit her own mistakes in her relationship with Scott and what her leaving him and getting married did to his feelings toward her. Scott has to admit he played a major part in the failure of their relationship as well.
This series is full of suspense and this installment definitely doesn’t disappoint. There are more questions than answers, but I feel things are ramping up for a fantastic crescendo. This is a great mystery with another wholesome HEA.
This is the sixth book in Dale Mayer's "Terkel's Team" series. Scot was finally surfacing from his coma, he didn't know what had happened, the thought that Naira had been by his side stayed with him but that was impossible, Naira had been the love of his life but many years ago she had suddenly dropped the bombshell that she was marrying someone else to help her fathers business and he hadn't seen her since. What Scott didn't know that all those years ago Naira had wanted Scott to persuade her not to marry someone that she didn't love but he just walked away and the marriage went ahead.........it didn't last long, she was now divorced. When Terk contacted Naira to say that Scott needed her she wasn't sure that he would want her there but she didn't hesitate, she had never stopped loving him. Terk's team were a highly skilled black ops team of ex military personnel, each handpicked for their special psychic powers but someone powerful wanted them dead, possibly someone who had the same powers that they had, Terk had managed to keep the team alive by sharing his energy after an attempt was made to wipe them out and the enemy didn't know how many had survived, they were surfacing one by one, only Brody remained in the ethers. This story follows the second chance love between Naira and Scott, his unwillingness to accept her back and forgive her and Naira's determination to help him. Their lives were all in danger, Naira couldn't understand their powers but she wanted to learn. Another enjoyable story and I now look forward to reading Brody's story.

Another member, Scott, from Terk's Team has woken up and just like the other team members, he is confused about what happened to him. He doesn't understand why he is so weak nor why his talent is almost not responding.
Scott also has an ex-girlfriend, Niara, who comes back into the picture who has a big impact on his recovery. Years ago Scott and Niara relationship had a rough break up but now they a chance for a romance to develop again.
If you have read the previous books in the series it helps since you are familiar with all of the different characters and which women goes with which team member on Terk's Team. However, it's not necessary to have read all of the previous books. This book is written so well you get a good picture of how Terk's Team & their women all fix together.
The book focuses on is Scott & Nora relationship, then how they fit together with Terk's Team & family. It like another piece of the puzzle has been given to us about the Team, and at the same time we get more Information to the mystery of why Terk's Team is wanted dead.
While we get to know Scott & Niara and get more clues and information about who and why Terk's Team is wanted dead, we are entertained, listen to wonderful characters, follow action packed scenes, glued to pages turned and, oh ya, feel the emotions of romance.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys military romances and romance suspense books.

When Scott wakes up from a coma he is convinced that the ex-love of his life Naira is there but when he wakes properly she is not there - did he dream it? Naira had hoped that Scott would have protested her decision some time ago, but he didn't and now he finds he cannot get past it. The marriage that Naira had agreed to was to appease her father but she is no longer married and had come running when Terk called and said he needed her. Scott's priority is getting back to his team, but their enemies are going for everything that the team holds dear including Naira and so he might have to move forward with their conversations about the past and their future.
Wow - two very stubborn people who had to be forced almost continually in order to give them the space and time to talk about the past, clear the air and then discuss their feelings. There were definitely times when I wished I could just knock their heads together and make them stop and think clearly! Plenty of danger and drama in this book and Naira was definitely very direct, clear and took no prisoners when it came to giving out her opinions, thoughts and feelings. Easy to read and understand, this was a great instalment in the series. Contains a little mature content.

I don't see these books ending in cliffhangers, but the main mystery has yet to be resolved.
As far as Naira is concerned, I found her to be irritating. I thought she waa kind of harsh and unpleasant. I understood she was thrust into a bad situation. What I didn't understand is Naira wanting to blame Scott for a decision she made expecting him to be a mind reader.
This story left me on the edge of my seat. I kept waiting for the gang to be attacked. In previous books, there was some discussion about how the featured team member's special energy or power worked. I didn't get a sense of Scott's speciality. I also wasn't sure if he was able to tap into anything since sealing from his coma.
I was not feeling much chemistry between Naira and Scott. Maybe it was just me. She seemed to have a lot of expectations from a man who had been in a coma for a month and had not seen her in years.
This was not one of my favorites, but it was a fast paced read. The mystery and suspense seemed to intensify. There wasn't as much action, but it seemed to happen faster. The danger definitely ramped up a level.
Brody still has to wake up, and Terk still has that unresolved issue back in the states. I would give this 3.5 stars. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy received via Booksprout.
This is the first book that I have read in this series so was a bit lost at first until I understood they were some kind of psychic energy people and they were under attack.
There really was not much progress made in who was behind the attacks so I am guess that part is continued throughout all the books in the series and the romance part is what gets resolved in each book.
The plot was very interesting and I was not happy when I had to stop reading for necessary parts of my life! I wanted to get to see how they got out of the danger that they were in and how Scott and Naira resolved their past issues.
I always enjoy when previous characters are part of the book so if you were ready this as part of the series, you would see many of the previous characters involved in this story line.
There was not much explanation on Terk and the woman who was carrying his child, Celia. That was not explained and is intriguing enough that I will have to start reading the series from the beginning. I also see that his book is coming later this year and I definitely want to read that one!
I liked that the ending gave us a glimpse of the next book and see that Brody is still in a coma but starting to come out.

This is book six in The Terkel's Team Series and it is Scott Naira's story. Scott and Naira have history as they were in love and should have been together but Naira didn't follow her heart and instead married a man to please her father. Naira is now single again and when she gets a call that Scott is in hospital and in a coma she rushes to be by his side even knowing that he will not be happy when he wakes up and finds her there but she never stopped loving him and wants to be there to help him. Scott never got over Naira's betrayal and can't seem to forgive her even though she is there at his hospital bedside. Will Scott and Naira be able to put there differences and past behind them so that they can have a second chance of has too much water gone under the bridge for them to reconcile only time will tell what the outcome would be for them. Danger is all around them watching and waiting to strike at there most vulnerable time and pick them off one by one until know one is left alive but will they be able to stop this happening or will they be to late. This series just gets better and better with each book written and I can't wait to read more in the future.
An exciting psychic military suspense thriller with second chance love too. When Terk called the only woman Scott has ever loved he feels its the last chance they have to bring him out of the coma.Naida came as fast as she could after Term called an said Scott was in a coma an not doing too good.Scott heard Naira but he must be dreaming about her. When he wakes up no one is there an he goes back under but then he swears he feels her touch an her voice talking to him. As he comes awake again he finds he's alone again. But then in walks Term an he's happy to see him but then in walks Naida, an he acts like an ass asking what the hell are you doing here?He sees the hurt on her face as she turns around an leave then Term tells him she came as soon as she heard about his accident an has been here everyday talking to him an touching him.He says get your shit together before you lose something valuable. There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
Naira thought her time with Scott has been and gone...but deep down she knows she will never love anyone else the way she still loves him. So when the call comes that he needs her she doesn't hesitate, despite this you can feel every bit of apprehension, fear, anger and hope that bombards her as she tries to understand Scott's world and where, if anywhere, she fits in. Scott is still angry and hurt by Naira's past decisions and because of that he finds it difficult to see that she ever loved him, it also makes him a little difficult to like as he is abrupt, rude and belligerent for the first half of the book. But eventually we break through those defenses and we get to see the Scott that Naira fell for so long ago and as always they are stronger together than they are alone. The team is still under attack, the enemy is no clearer and there are far too many bodies falling but they cannot stop battling for their lives, their safety and their future.
Scott’s Summit by Dale Mayer Terkel’s Team Series Book Six Scott Little is surprised to see someone from his past when he starts waking up from his coma. They had left things poorly in the past, and he wanted everything to stay there. But here she is. And, from what he’s learned has been happening with his team, once someone is associated with them—they are in danger too. Naira had come to England as soon as Terk contacted her that Scott was in a bad way. But he would be okay now and didn’t seem to want her around. He didn’t seem to want to give any second chances. So once she becomes a target from some unseen enemy…she has no choice but to stay. Exciting, page-turning stories. Looking forward to the last few books as Terk’s own story has been hinted at on a situation happening back in Texas. **Mild sexual content and language https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
This series gets better and better with each book that is released! The end is getting closer, and Dale Mayer is ramping up the heat and the mystery.
Almost all of the team’s partners are on board and more than willing to help Terk and his team members catch their enemies. They want to speed up the end of their problem by acting as bait.
Readers finally get to meet Brody who is still lost in the ethers. Even Terk is ready to move on. He wants to find the woman who is supposedly carrying his child.
There is not much else that I can say without giving away the story. However, the overall is filled with anxiety, fear and a strong impatience to solve the mystery and get on with their lives.
If you love the romantic suspense books, I highly recommend this series! Just remember that you must read these books in order to thoroughly enjoy series.
Naira appeared to be able to sum a situation up, put the pieces together quickly. Someone I would want to have my back. What she did before hand, somewhat understandable. However not saying anything to Scott, just waiting for him to step up, smh. Same token, Scott not saying anything, smh. There are changes coming as this series winds down, or should I say wind up? Probably just me, but some of these bad guys sure are whiners and kinda dumb. Though if you choose to be a bad guy, you are dumb imho. Yes circumstances could lead you astray, but there are choices. This is a quick read with suspense and intrigue, as we still do not have a handle on who is behind this. Having the mystery is always a win. Thank you for the arc, I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #dalemayer #Scottssummit #booksprout
I love the supernatural energy works in this series, I think that's what this series is different and therefore I like it. This time Scott just getting out of coma with a little help from Naira, Scott's ex. After that it's all about finding out who's responsible for the attack to Terk's team and about relationship. It is a suspense romance book, but I think this time the romance took most part of the book, I wished there's more those energy works, it's second chance mixed with miscommunication trope, I'm a big fan of second chance romance but kinda hate miscommunication trope, so yeah I got mixed feeling with this one. I still enjoy all the banter between Terk's team and their partner, and I like all the action with energy. Overall it's an entertaining read, an easy-to-read book, I finished it in just a couple hours.
When Terk decides to bring Naira back into Scott’s life to help him heal and get him out of his coma, he doesn’t realize at first the danger he brings to her. Not only that, these two have a lot of issues between them. Scott has not forgiven Naira marrying someone out of convenience for a business deal and Naira hasn't gotten over how easily Scott walked away and didn't fight for her. Now the two are fighting an enemy that is out to kill all of them and they have to stick together to survive. A good read as the group gets closer to who is hunting them and closer to solving the mystery. There’s some suspense, a hint of steam and second chances. I would have liked a bit more and a heart to heart talk between the two resolving their past issues. I did like Naira’s bluntness and calling out Terk when warranted. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Cara helps Scott out of his coma and he thinks that Naira was there, but was he just imagining things. He finds that Terk got Naira to come to help keep him alive. Scott and Naira have a past and when she went into an arranged marriage because of her father it left Scott devastated. Neither one of them could get past it. There were things that they really needed to work out but all she wants to do is leave. After they leave Terk brings her back to her hotel and while he's leaving she gets shot. They were still being targeted and now she was too. I really like the story and how Naira is right up front about how she feels with everyone. She even tells Terk and Scott what is on her mind and no one has ever been so upfront with Terk like she is. I read the whole book in one go. I loved it.
This author knows how to hook you on a series. Terkel's Team does just that. Scott's Summit is book 6 in this series and brings the characters closer to the upcoming war. Although this book spotlights Scott and Naira, all of the characters continue to have active parts. Scott's Summit gives the reader insight into all the team members, their significant others and their capabilities. Haven't read the series? No problem. I have read 1 other book in this series and did not find it hard to keep up. So, IMHO, it can be read as a stand-alone novel. While their is an open door bedroom scene, it is tastefully handled and I would rate it PG-13. There is no vulgar language to the romantic suspense, which I appreciated. All in all, I rate this novel a strong 4 star rating.
When Naira was faced with a difficult situation and had to choose between her love for Scott and her loyalty to her family it was what they didn’t say to each other that tore them apart. Years later when she finds out that Scott has been injured the only place, she wants to be is by his side however their reunion is more tense than happy.
Scott was hurt by the choice that Naira made, and it isn’t an experience he wants to repeat. When Naira is threatened there is nothing that Scott won’t do not only to help her heal but to protect her until they find who is responsible and why.
Scott and Naira take us on quite the adventure as they must overcome not only the turmoil from their pasts but the challenges in the present as well.
Terk's team has been attacked for an unknown reason and he is still searching for answers. Scott, a member of this team is just waking from a coma to find his ex girlfriend has been part of his recovery much to his surprise and confusion as she had married another. Naira, the ex girlfriend in question has a story of her own which needs considering. So while under the threat of attack the history of each team member has been under scrutiny. Now the team also has to protect the people close to them as well. Very exciting and a good read!.

An excellent read. This time it’s Scott’s turn and he needs help to come out of the coma. Terk as always knows what’s best for his team and it seems someone he thought was lost to him is back. I did want to shake the two of them up because all they seemed to be doing was blaming each other. There was no communication between them and you could see that with what she expected Scott to do years ago but yet she didn’t communicate any of that so Scott was left in the dark. Still the bad guys are after them and will stop at nothing to make sure all their loose ends are tied up and squared away. This took me through a myriad of emotions from the start. Now I can’t wait for Brody’s story.
This book is part of a series that are interconnected. You would definitely get more out of this book by reading them in order. The book begins with a wounded Scott confronting his ex, Naira. Their relationship ended a long time ago with Naira marrying someone else as a business move. Since Scott never disagreed or made his opinion known, Naira assumed he was fine with that. Well, he was not! This book is action packed as people keep getting shot. This author has been a long time favorite of mine. This book reminds of why!.

Scott and Naira have a past history. Miscommunication torpedoed their relationship. Scott finally wakes from his coma, and is shocked to find Naira there. To Naira's credit, she came when asked because she still cares about Scott. Scott is cold and distant, making Naira feel like her being there is a huge mistake. Terk keeps Naira focused on the reason she is there.. Scott's healing and recovery. Being around Terk and Scott has painted a target on Naira's back, and now the team has to protect her, and find the person or persons that are trying to kill her. Many twists and turns in this book, and a new romance to follow.
Scott comes out of his coma and remembers that Naira was there at his bedside. Terk explains to Scott what happened with everybody and that when contacted Naira she immediately came came over. When Naira was going back to her hotel she was shot and ended up in the hospital with Scott watching over her. When he went for coffee she was drugged and hit over the head so Terk brings them both to the compound while they try to figure out what is going on.

While I loved reading this story in it's context of the overall mystery of who is trying to destroy Terkel's team I really didn't like Naira at all Trying to force someone to make a commitment by agreeing to marry someone else is totally lame brained and no wonder it back fired on her Scott was also a bit namby pamby for my liking just drifting along with life So as a couple I really did not connect with them at all After saying this I did love the story as we learnt a few more secrets about what is going on and I can't wait for more additions to get to the bottom of it all
Scott is another of Terk's men to wake up, it's taken him a while and he can't understand, as the others before, what has caused such a hard recovery. Naira, his ex, heard from Terk that Scott was injured and came to help him. After Naira is shot at, she's removed from the hospital, Terk and the team are still trying to find out who's trying to kill them. Brody is the last one left in a coma, and with attacks getting nearer they need him to wake up.

A great romantic suspense from Dale, roll on the next one.
Wow there is certainly some sparks between Scott and Naira but there is some bit too with all the unresolved feelings from the past, not only that but with Naira in danger there is no getting away from needing to work through things. I loved how feisty Naira is but also she frustrated me with her stubbornness and same goes for Scott. We get romance, second chances as well as more twists and danger from those hunting Terk, his team and those close to them.

Scott finally surfaces from his coma with the help of someone from his past. Naira is back in his life, they seemed to have had a lack of communication or maturity in their past. Does he care about her, actually they both need their heads knocked together. Naira is now in danger and ends up in hospital. Is it because of his team or something else? This is another episode in this mystery, we still don't quite know who or why. The threat is all around them and I can't wait to see where the next story goes.
