Even better than Volume 1. I love Yiyoung and Kang so much.

Yiyoung is adorable and it's so fun seeing him navigate his crush and office relationship with Kang. Kang is so stoic and hard to read. Yiyoung is the opposite and tends to wear his heart on his sleeve.

Watching Yiyoung get so frazzled by Kang was everything. I just want to grab them both and smush them together and tell them to get over themselves and be together forever!! Is that too mush to ask for? 🥺

I'm happy volume 4 is out in March, because I don't know how the author could do me like that with that ending! I need it yesterday tbh.

With the way Kang has been treating Yiyoung, it's no wonder he's confused about Kang's feelings for him. I can relate to Yiyoung's tendency to overthink everything, and his lack of chill is both funny and endearing. He gets flustered so easily, tends to say or do the most embarrassing shit, yet always manages to get his work done to perfection. I love these guys so much and am ready to start the next book immediately. 4 stars

Director Kang was on thin ice at the beginning of this season but he made it up at the end, he's so sweet and gentle with Yiyoung;(

Yiyoung's friends are amazing, I love them so much and the designer of the team is me, I'm her, we are one and the same fr.

That cliffhanger should be illegal. Who even is Steve.

O segundo volume de On or Off, mangá colorido com temática gay e erótica, continua com a mesma boa qualidade que encontrei no primeiro volume. Neste volume, as relações entre o Diretor e o Representante se intensificam e as cenas de sexo são mais extensas e mais explícitas do que no primeiro volume. Mas o mangá não é bom somente por apresentar cenas sexuais, existem uma trama bastante desenvolvida entre os personagens principais, embora, claro, siga na ordem do dia dos Yaoi, quadrinhos em que sempre existe nas relações gays um personagem mais afeminado e outro, mais másculo. O que pode deixar o leitor brasileiro mais incomodado são as voltas e voltas que a relação entre os dois personagens dão, principalmente os pensamentos hesitantes e romanticos do Representante sobre o Diretor. Entretanto isso faz parte da diferença entre as culturas asiáticas e brasileiras. On or Off é um quadrinho muito legal de se acompanhar e já estou com vontade de ler a terceira edição da história, que acredito que será publicada em breve no Brasil pela Editora NewPop.

Bei den Webtoon, die so veröffentlicht werden, gefallen mir eher wenige. Die On or Off Reihe kann mich aber wirklich begeistern.
Ich mag zum einen die absolut interessante Beziehung zwischen dem jungen Angestellten Yiyoung und seinem älteren Boss Daehyung. Yiyoung ist ein unglaublich loyaler, netter Charakter, der ohne darüber nachzudenken und ohne eine Gegenleistung zu wollen für andere da ist. Auch seine ganz besondere Freundschaft mit der emotional und sozial etwas eingeschränkten Mia ist so besonders und wird zum einen herzerwärmend und zum andere so unglaublich witzig erzählt. Direktor Daehyung dagegen ist der erfahrene, ruhige Typ, der Macht und Geld aus jeder Pore ausstrahlt, dabei aber sympathisch und gerecht bleibt. Allerdings möchte er eine Beziehung am Arbeitsplatz vermeiden und stellt daher von vornherein klar, dass das war passiert eine 'einmalige' (mal abgesehen von dem was in Band 1 passiert ist) Sache bleibt. Tja nur leider verliert Yiyoung so langsam sein Herz und das bringt Schwierigkeiten.
Ich fand den Band wieder richtig gut, lediglich der Anfang hat sich etwas gezogen.
Der Zeichenstil gefiel mir auch wieder sehr. Ich mag die Charakterisierung der Personen und wieviel einfach über Gestik und Mimik vermittelt wird.
Die erotischen Szenen sind explizit, heiß gezeichnet und unzensiert aber nehmen nicht den Hauptteil des Webtoon ein.
Ich freue mich schon auf Band 3, den ich gleich im Anschluss lesen werde.

Yiyoung is so relatable when it comes to his constant self doubt, and Darhyung’s realization that he wants to have something meaningful with this younger man makes me so happy. I’m so sad that Yiyoung left thing at the end like that, but he’s so scared of being hurt again. Hopefully things work out at least a bit in the next volume.

I’m obsessed! This is such a fluff read with Director Kang and Yiyoung get even more close. Also loved Secretary Cha and the trio girlies of Singco’s unexpected friendship (even Sec. Cha looks like a baby sitter! Cute nonetheless.) The art style and that gorgeous pick of color palette only makes the reading experience even more amazing! The cliffhanger makes me thirst after the next volume!!
