Wish there was better timing
I really like this series but there is too much happening in a very short period. It has only been 2-3 days throughout the first 3 books in the series. It does not leave much time for character growth/development.

Not really a big fan of the Ms. MILF threads, and this book is nothing but. All of his hot young virginal girlfriends are ignored in favor of dried up old women. Just when it seems like the Ms. Miriam story line is going to wind down, we get a full chapter recap of the book we've just read. And again in Book 4 the first chapter is a recap and chapter two is just Miriam this and Miriam that. Not really sure if this book was worth $5.

A better told story
The story is getting better and better whereas before I wasn't too sure but now I'm liking the main character more and more as he becomes more confident instead of such a little boy even though he's 18. The real building is interesting and I can't wait to see what evil is lurking in the horizon and how he and his women deal with it.

Captivating!
It only gets better in the third book, we get to learn more about Kai’s origins but also about the world that he lives in

Most of this volume is spent away from the harem. In exchange, we get interesting new characters, some world-building, and a few unexpected twists. I enjoyed it.
