The book's mascot--the Truth Sleuth--guides readers through this funny and fact-packed book, which features photos and illustrations of a wide variety of felines.

Why would they ever put a statement about how cheetahs can change colors like chameleons? If I was a cheetah in green grass, I would be pretty easy to see. But in Africa, where there are lots of cheetahs, there is lots of tannish-yellow grass, and cheetahs have little spots and markings that blend in with that grass. But they still can’t change colors.
I think the world’s biggest hairball that is 55 pounds, is crazy. But that came from a cow. If you had a cat, it wouldn’t be coughing up a 55-pound hairball.
I’m surprised they didn’t have anything about tigers.
A leveled reader with facts about cats (both wild and domestic). Readers are presented with several combinations of 4 possible facts about cats and have to figure out which one is a lie in each group of 4.
An entertaining nonfiction book on felines. There's a good variety of information included, and it is presented in an attractive and engaging format.
My family loves all of the Truth or Lie books! They are so much fun! This one was packed full of obligatory dad level puns, fun facts and great pictures, too! But, we either know a lot more about cats than any other subject in this series or this one was easier. 🤷♀️ Regardless, we enjoyed it! 😊
