Eight volumes in I think we finally have a semblance of a goal and a plot? Unbelievable

The resolution of Rock Guy arc was fun, I'm invested into the two of the mysteries of the part 8. Jobin has returned for his trip overseas and the man is fine. Araki's art is gorgeous as ever.

Now it is time for beetle fight.

I have really enjoyed this manga from start to end. I really enjoy Hirohiko Araki's work on all of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure series and I believe this Jojolion is a good edition.
I think this part starts out really strong with the history of Josuke and the mysterious means of being found in the wall eyes. I also enjoyed the slow build-up of unraveling the mystery and the conspiracy of the rokkaka fruit. The one problem I have with the book is I think that the ending of the story drags on for a long time and becomes a little repetitive and less interesting. I really like Wonder of You and its interesting ability but I think the character is very underdeveloped. I think Jojo's is at its best when it introduces the main villain near the beginning of the book and continues to develop them throughout the story instead of introducing them halfway through or at the end. I think this is done best in part 7 with the president and their quest across the US. The common enemy they were facing created a common goal for them to achieve throughout the whole part which is why it is my favorite.
despite some of these downsides I still think that this is a really good part of the series and a great addition to the story.

Start of the beetle fight arc, which is obviously one of the funniest. Also, the introduction of the Rokakaka fruit. Chapter by chapter, Gappy is getting closer to understanding who he is, who he was, and what this curse is.

Jobin is cool. The discussion of Rock Human dicks is funny.

Jobin and Josuke doing a high-five is funny also.

Is that a Mitsuo Aida reference !!

I have no idea who's this guy is but base on google. Mitsou Aida is basically a famous twitter guy even before twitter is invented.

Example are:
description

Ok Jojolion part 8 Volume 8

They finally beat the guy who literally live on a rock most of his life and its not because his a homeless, he basically turn himself into a rock and he doesnt need to eat, sleep and shit. Yet for some reason he wanted to take somebody's family fortune?

Why am I reading this?
image: description

Well atleast we already had a plot now.
1) Look for info Josuke's memory
2) Its connected to the higashikata family
3) Find the magic fruit that cures stone curse

We get introduce to Jobin, the first son of Higashikata family. A business man with an awesome beetle(the Bug not the band) collection who sometimes think "Everyday is a summer vacation"(you get what it means if read the book). Also the fruit parlor scene is actually really nice in humane kind of way.

"There are tons of things in this world you can get from a healthy friend or as a present for a celebration..
But when something unfortunate happens, or when someone is ill, you only ever send them flowers and fruit.
Fruit is Special."
