Horrorgasm follows Allendy Garcia, or I should say, Molly Massacre; a cam girl who adhere's to the kinks of viewers who like a more 'horrific experience'.

In an attempt to ditch her abusive boyfriend Chad, Allendy and her friend conduct a plan to scam her viewers and ditch him, and Molly Massacre, for good. Do they succeed? You would have to read to find out.

I'm not sure that Nikki Noir's novellas that blend erotica and the bizarre are quite for me. The smutty side isn't sexy and the bizarre/horrific side just misses the mark.

The atmosphere falls flat and the characters are one note. I can't even say that this would be better developed into a novel because honestly, I was bored and disappointed.

Thank you to NetGalley and blood bound books for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

There isn't much depth here when it comes to plot or characters.. but if you enjoy horror erotica and extreme horror, it definitely is satisfying.

I listened to the audiobook, and it was well done, in my opinion. It's also a pretty quick read too! It's very niche, though, and won't be for every reader.

I received a copy in exchange for my honest review.

Allendy, AKA Molly Massacre is a cam girl appealing to 90’s horror nerds, and she is slaying her corner of the market. She is feeling the strain of the industry and is hatching an exit plan with her lifelong friend turned producer. First, they need an event to bring in a cash boost; enter a #dateafan raffle.

Allendy has opportunities to be relatable but building her character is not prioritised by the author, and the whole work suffers for it. It is made clear very early that Allendy is being coerced into sex work by her abusive boyfriend, which is sadly a reality for many women in the industry. This isn’t critically explored whatsoever, and even sex work as a whole is only examined superficially. I understand this is a novella and maybe it’s ’not meant to be that deep’ but it was incredibly disappointing.

An interesting twist in HorrorGasm introduces Dylan, an avid fan of Molly’s with his heart set on winning the date raffle and meeting her in real life. I think Dylan is written as a realistic teenage boy and I enjoyed the commentary on parasocial relationships with internet personas. This could’ve gone further but it was the only satisfying element of this book in my opinion.

The entire story was very predictable, and aside from a brief ‘good for her’, it failed to elicit any emotion from me.

This story has a 'Wild Things' movie feel to it, but with a more modern feel, the writing as always is smooth and easy to read, and the characters are complex and well developed.

I'd recommend this is you want something quick, with a good balance or erotic and thriller.

It was just (uninteresting but) erotic, not much horror to it. I got bored because of how flat the characters and the story were.

HorrorGasm is an indie short story from Nikki Noir's book Petite Mort. It's from a collection of horror/ erotic/ weird/ humorous short stories.

HorrorGasm is about Molly who performs in a horror inspired OnlyFans type website to generate an income for herself, her best friend and her druggy boyfriend. Molly and Serena want to cut out the toxic boyfriend and what follows is some original craziness that I won't spoil here. The story is amusing, gross, and bizarre, it could have been extended to become a novel all on It's own.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this short story.

Nikki Noir is awesome. She lives and breathes extreme horror, erotica and bizzaro, doing tons of reviews on all kinds of books under those umbrellas for years... meaning - the woman knows her $h!t.

Well, HorrorGasm is one of those. So great. A teeny little book she’s calling a ‘Petite Mort’ that you can crank out in one sitting should you have the time and the balls. Kind of a modern erotic thriller with some cringe worthy bits to it - especially if you have a penis.

Allendy Garcia a.k.a. ‘Molly Massacre’ and her partner in crime, Selena, run a type of independent OnlyFans that is horror themed, there is also the a-hole boyfriend, Chad. They have a plan to make quick easy cash and ditch him for good. Would a plan ever go smoothly in a horror book? Never! It unravels pretty quickly, turning into a total cluster-f. I can’t really give away too much beyond that as the book is short, so if you are looking for something quick, fun and totally f-d to read on a flight or something, this would do it. Excellent job by Noir!

We meet Allendy Garcia, a former cigar bar waitress who, thanks in part to her asshole boyfriend Chad and dear sweet friend Selena, has re-vamped herself as Molly Massacre and runs a live website called HorrorGasm, where her subscribers get to watch her have all sorts of kinky fun, for a fee.
All is well, or is it? Tired of her abusive, drug-addicted boyfriend, she and Selena devise a plan on making some quick $$ and ditching Chad for good. The ball is put in motion, but does their plan succeed? You'll have to read the book to find out 😉
I liked this book, original concept, good editing, likeable characters. The only thing I didn't like was the abrupt ending and that is because it left me wanting more. A sequel would be fantastic. 4 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimer: I was sent a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Horrorgasm by Nikki Noir surprised me. Typically, her stories consist of some type of paranormal element to allow the reader to distance themselves from the story. But, Horrorgasm did not. It could all happen. It probably has happened… possibly even the chainsaw dildo.

Molly, AKA Allendy, gets into a relationship that seemed too good to be true and realized she was dating a douche named Chad. With her best friend, Selena, they devise a brand called Horrorgasm, for the FANdom masses. With one final cam girl stunt, they plan to ride off into the sunset… but will they?

This book brings to the forefront problems facing the camgirl community. Chad is like the modern virtual pimp, which is terrifying as hell. He gaslights and makes her feel like HE created her when he really just bought a few things, while keeping her “in line” with physical, emotional, and verbal abuse. The idea of men being owed something because they buy (literally) into the fantasy that Molly Massacre has created shows Horrorgasm can not only entertain, but can start much needed conversations on this topic. That, in itself, amazed me.

Horrorgasm was a page turner! The characters are fleshed out (even that douche canoe, Chad). Even Dylan was an amazing side character with his interweaved plot line. (Dylan was my favorite.)

I have only one complaint, I wish it was longer. Though, what she squeezes into 67 pages, is a Herculean feat.

Easily a 5/5. Pick this one up ASAP.

Allendy aka Molly Massacre is a camgirl on FANdom. With help from her best friend Selena, she devises a plan to leave her abusive boyfriend Chad.

“Hi guys! It's your ghoul, Molly Massacre, and this is a very special night for HorrorGasm.”

HorrorGasm features some interesting ideas and elements, and also some aspects that didn't quite work for me. First of all I love a good revenge story and I enjoyed the relationship between Allendy/Molly and her best friend Selena. The horror vibes were higher than the sexy vibes in this one, and that worked well with the writing.

However the character of Dylan fell flat for me. I wanted a bit more personality from him. The resolution of the plot in the end also left something to be desired. Besides these points I felt a little peeved by the author's assertion that a 24 year old is “still a child”. I say this not to dismiss a possible power dynamic, but it left me confused why the author would refer to a grown woman as a child. I also didn't enjoy the bipolar 'joke' in this short story.

The narration for this short story was okay. I wasn't a big fan of the narrator's voice itself, but they did a great job at providing each character with a distinct voice and injecting the emotions necessary to bring the story to life.

Overall these authors know how to write a good story with interesting characters, but I felt this wasn't their best work. Despite this I would recommend this story to people wanting to read about camgirl horror or a satisfying revenge story.

TW include, but are not limited to: infedility, body horror, death, drug use/abuse, addiction, confinement, gun violence, lesbophobia, toxic relationship, domestic abuse, rape adjacent imagery, ableism.

Thank you Nikki Noir, S.C. Mendes and Blood Bound Books for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

The title of this book lays out bare what our main character former waitress Allendy Garcia now does to make her money.
Allendy aka Molly Masacre runs a Fandom website- Horrorgasm where fans subscribe to watch her for cult horror sexual fun. Molly feels trapped, depressed and she's fed up of the role playing and selling herself but her partner Chad keeps putting pressure on her to make more money as his low level drug deals are no longer raking it in due to weed legalisation. She knows to keep him sweet he needs food, weed & sex but now he's slipping in to cocaine use and the abuse from him is getting worse.
Selena, Mollys best friend is in on the big plan concocted, a plan which should see the two girls hopefully together as 'couple' many miles away in the sun with plenty of money and free!.
Alongside runs a story of teenage Dylan who works at Burger King, an obsessed fan who ploughs the little money he earns into the site. Trying to follow Molly concerned after she comes into the restaurant as a customer he gets caught & held hostage by a paranoid Chad. But there is no need to worry. With a bit of seduction, violence, guns and a anti-rape condom the girls plan comes perfectly in to fruition and Dylan leaves a very happy customer indeed!.
Wow, this short story packed a whole lot of action in to it. It's erotic & gory with a great plot.
The scene is set well with good characterisation and the tale consumed me right from the beginning, I read it in one gulp!. I would certainly recommend this to fans of this genre.
My thanks go to S.C Mendes and Blood Bound books for providing this story in return for a honest review.

Firstly I would like to thank Nikki Noir , S.C. Mendes , Blood Bound Books and NetGalley for providing me with access to both the Audio and written copy of ' HorrorGasm' to read in exchange for an unbiased review.
Being an avid reader of splatterpunk I am not a stranger to both authors previous work and know their shock value style. I was very excited to receive a copy of this novelette.

The short story centres around Allendy Garcia or should I say her cam girl pseudonym Molly Massacre who makes her money from creating online erotic videos that blend titillation and her love for classic horror. Eager to escape the clutches of her abusive partner , a fraudulent plan is schemed.
Although the book is short in length , it certainly packs a punch and I devoured every page within around 25 minutes whilst reading along with the audio version. I loved the narrator and the style and their way of interjecting a distinctness to each individual character.
It is a bizarre read, but I wouldn't expect anything less from these author's whom have such a good standing in this fictional genre.
I would certainly recommend this book to anyone looking for a short and shocking read who are not easily offended by the graphic scenes .

Horrorgasm - Nikki Noir

Have I got your attention?!

OK, sure this dinky 66 pager looks kinda’ cool but to be honest I wasn’t expecting much.
I’d never heard of the author, and I was convinced it would be a gimmicky trash read.

Oh Nikki, please forgive me for I have sinned!

Holy shit. Horrorgasm is a short, fun, sexy, brutal read.
The characters are great, and believable and the plot is original and written very, very well.

I was lucky enough to receive another of the authors Petite Mort series as part of the package and I’m almost certainly picking it up next.
I might just have to get the whole collection!

More of the same Nikki. Brilliant.

I wasn’t sure what to think right away but honestly the behind the scenes look at a horror cam girl was a really interesting read. It was such a short piece but the way you got a real feel for the relationship between Allendy/Molly and Selena was really cool. Even without the romance aspect the fact that Selena was such a good friend she would do anything to help Allendy/Molly and keep her safe was really sweet. I’m honestly glad at how the story turned out I still think that Chad got off too easy for the giant POS he was.

All in all I had a pocket full of emotions reading this short story/novella and enjoyed it quite a bit. Makes you think and wonder if anything like this has ever actually happened.

This book seemed ridiculous but actually packs quite the punch. Molly is an online adult webcam girl who has a large following, and she's trying desperately to swindle her controlling loser boyfriend and leave him. Her best friend is the editor for her videos, and she's in on the scheme. When things go wrong in their escape plan and the boyfriend follows them, and they end up stuck with a superfan as well, they have to think fast and come up with a way to get away without losing everything.
This book is gritty and it's dark, but it speaks volumes of feminine determination, friendship, and the dark humor is a nice relief when the plot gets a bit heavy.

This was a really enjoyable quick and easy horror short read with a perfect blend darkness, humour and spice. It was well written with a story line that really grabbed me right from the first sentence and kept me in its clutches all the way through.

Although a very short read at approximately 40 pages I still feel like enough was packed into it that I knew enough of the characters to like some and detest others - Chad I am definitely eyeballing you.
This was my first read by the author but it won't be my last

Quite enjoyed this book. Not my usual style of horror book either. It was a quick one but moved at a good pace. The story is about a horror themed porn star who has a popular site trying to get out of her situation. As you can imagine it involves a fair amount of grim body horror sections. Worth a read if you have the time.

She's the final girl, but this time she's writing the script

Molly Massacre is an online icon, a horror camgirl whose masked performances turn bloodlust into fantasy. But behind the camera, Allendy is trapped and controlled by a toxic boyfriend who profits off her body and silences her voice. The persona she created to survive might be the only weapon she has left.

When Molly launches a livestreamed contest to "date a fan," it's not about love or fandom. It's a setup. One last performance to escape her abuser and reclaim her life. But the winner, Dylan, isn't what she expected. Obsessed, unstable, and convinced she's his, he turns the stage into something far more dangerous.

As the lines between fantasy and reality splinter, Molly's world spins into chaos. What begins as grotesque spectacle twists into emotional reckoning, fueled by rage, desperation, and the will to survive. This isn't just about escape, it's about taking back the narrative.

A provocative blend of erotic horror, splatterpunk, and dark satire, Horrorgasm explores the grotesque theater of digital performance and unpacks themes of sexual agency, parasocial obsession, abuse, revenge, and survival in a world where power is always transactional.

Narrator Ivy Coldburn does a good job voicing the lead character, with a tone that matches the story’s blend of dark humor, horror, and eroticism. Her performance captures the energy and absurdity of the plot without overplaying it. Overall, the narration is strong and engaging. The audio quality is clean and professional, with no noticeable issues.
