Justice isn’t always just...

When a federal judge and her family are shot execution-style in their home, the scene resembles a mafia style hit. FBI Special Agents Amelia Storm and Zane Palmer are assigned the case for their organized crime expertise, but as the investigation begins, a handful of peculiarities cast doubt on the hitman theory. A few things are certain, though...the killers know what they are doing, and they have a score to settle.

And they aren’t finished yet.

As more bodies are discovered, the blows begin to strike closer to home. With the help of Violent Crimes Agents, Amelia and Zane race to find a common thread between the victims. The clock is ticking, and the next victim is one of their own.

From the mysterious minds of Mary Stone and Amy Wilson comes Storm’s Justice, book seven of the Amelia Storm series. Ready to step into the mind of a killer? Think again.

‘Military veteran turned FBI special agent Amelia Storm returns to her corrupt hometown of Chicago to avenge her brother’s death, becoming an unstoppable force that exposes the city’s darkest secrets while solving its most dangerous crimes.’

Storm's Justice is Book #7 in the Amelia Storm Series by Mary Stone. This series turned out to be a fast-moving mix of crime, suspense, and personal drama that was so easy to get hooked on. I have been devouring my way through Ms. Stone’s series/books for a while now, and can always count on her to deliver an engrossing read, and this series didn’t disappoint.
The books follow Amelia Storm, a military veteran turned FBI Special Agent, as she tackles dangerous cases that often hit close to home - especially after returning to her corrupt hometown of Chicago.
Amelia is the heart of the series. She’s smart, determined, and unafraid to push boundaries, but she’s also human, carrying the weight of past trauma and personal loss. That balance of toughness and vulnerability makes her feel real and very relatable.
The pacing is quick, the dialogue sharp, and the settings are vivid enough to pull you right into all the action. Each book works as its own mystery - but reading them in consecutive order lets you see not only Amelia’s growth but also the bigger story threads unfolding over the series.
If you like strong female leads, gritty investigations, and thrillers that mix action with emotional depth, then this series is the one for you.
Happy Reading…

A Brother's Bond

Brothers have a unique bind. Younger idolized older, eldest controls youngest, perhaps protects and shapes the youngest. But one thing is sure, the bond between brothers can prove insurmountable and unbreakable.

When Storm and Zane are called out to the site if a family murder, everything screams professional, planned and executed (literally).
Investigative thoughts float toward mafia connections with a message being sent.

However, there are just to many outliers for Storm. The witness believed two killers were in the house, the sexual assault doesn't play "hit". The team is assembled and before the investigation even gets off the ground, another family is murdered. Roll the search for connections. And was the Judge in the first murder really the target?
The team grows to include local police, other investigators and a safe house for the witness.

When a third family is found , similarly murdered, a portrait of a serial killer begins to emerge and connections become clear. This killer is seeking revenge and one of the team is in the crosshairs.

Can they uncover the identity of the killer, protect the witness and stop the next murder from happening?

STORM'S JUSTICE by Mary Stone and Amy Wilson is the seventh installment in their Amelia Storm Series, and another good thriller. Each installment is just as intense and gripping than the last one. Another page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. So once you start, make sure you have time to read.

The FBI'S Violent and Organized Crime Divisions are working together on a crime scene. Families are being murdered in their homes and no evidence of any kind can be found.

Fear and tensions will gear up as all the pieces slowly come together, but not before bodies start piling up.  Cassandra be in danger from the serial killer and just maybe from someone she knows.  She has finally listened to her gut feeling and Amelia's warning and told Joseph they are through, but we know how he takes rejection.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review. I really enjoyed this book and the entire series which is well written with interesting characters, some good, some bad. The collaboration between these authors is superb. I recommend the entire riveting series with each installment flowing smoothly into the next one.

Revenge Killings

Amelia Storm and Zane Palmer are together at last. Amelia feels she must tell Zane about her brother and her prior relationship with Alex Passarelli. How does Zane handle the news? Will it effect their budding relationship?

A Federal judge, her husband and one daughter are murdered so Amelia and Zane are assigned the case. They will need to keep the judge’s oldest daughter safe as she is a witness to the murders. Researching this case, Amelia and Zane find another family had been murdered in the same manner and start to link the cases together. They also determine that one of their own is in danger.

Cassandra finally breaks it off with Joseph Larson and he is not happy. What does he have planned for Cassandra?

Will Amelia and Cassandra survive the killer? Does Joseph get his wish of Amelia’s death?

Storm’s Justice is book 7 in the Amelia Storm FBI series. It can be read as a standalone; however, if you want background on all the characters then I suggest reading them in order.

Disappointing

Disappointing ending. This book series is starting to get watered down with very little logic or common sense involved to finish a book. Three people, in a room that know someone is breaking into the house. Who has the upper hand here. Let's just split up and leave this room, without flashlights and go look for the guy. Brilliant. Storm is subduing the subject but instead let's have the idiot Larson show up, who got into the house and snuck down the stairs with no one hearing him and while storm is taking him into custody, let's have Larson blow his brains out. What kind of thought is going into these endings. Not enough to keep me reading this series. Justified shooting? Absolutely not. Larson would be done. As am I. Sometimes you should just stop while you're ahead and quit trying to drag out something that needs to be put down.....moving on!

Held my breath through the first chapter…and then quite a bit more through out this book.
Mary Stone and Amy Wilson really know how to craft a thriller.
Special Agents Amelia Storm and Zane Palmer are on a case to find the person or persons who is torturing and killing entire families. They and the rest of their team need to find the the motive connecting these crimes and who the next target might be.
Love the interwoven story about resident dirty SA Joseph Larson. His hatred for Amelia and now ADA Cassandra Halcott makes for a riveting story. He is one creepy guy that doesn’t take well to rejection…
Cannot wait for the continuation of this story!

This is an ARC read and another fantastic story from Mary Stone and Amy Wilson. A Federal Judge and her family are executed but the killer made a mistake by not realizing that another member of the family came home and witnessed the murders. Amelia and Zane are assigned to the case and after another family is murdered, the clues lead to a killer out for vengence. Can the FBI team find the killer before he kills again and will he come after the one witness? Along with this part of the story, you find out more about the note left on Amelia's car from her dead brothers CI. Also how much longer is Joseph Larson going to get away with his actions.

Mary Stone and Amy Wilson have done it again. I love the dynamic between Amelia Storm and Zane Palmer. Their growing trust and openness with each other is going to bring down that snake in their midst. If you are familiar with Mary Stone’s Autumn Trent series, there is a character that works among them who is walking a fine line between good and evil with some hope that he may ultimately be redeemable. In Storm’s Justice, Amelia’s nemesis cements his path of irredeemable behavior with actions that leave us with nothing left but the hope that when she and Zane take him down, we are along for the ride.

The main character's in this book continue to evolve while working together to solve a series of family murders. Parents and their children are murdered in a moblike hit. Amelia and Zane work with the entire FBI team to uncover the suspect(s) killing these families who all seem linked to the criminal justice system. Is one of their own in danger? Storylines from past Amelia Storm books are also interwoven within the novel. Another wonderful addition to the series. I received this book as an ARC but the review is mine and done voluntarily.

Sleuthing, multiple crimes and new relationships from start to finish. The crimes were heinous, but fascinating. The buildup of solving the bad guy for the main crimes was detailed and the final conclusion had me thrown. Amelia and Zane share more of their secrets and build on their romance. The background crime of Joseph and the Shark had a good build up and changes in this book. Loved seeing more of Dean, Cassandra and learning about the CI. The ending is a great lead into the next book and I am ready for it!

This us the 7th book in the Amelia Storm series. One of the best so far. When a judge and her entire family are found murdered Amelia and her partner FBI Special Agent Zane Palmer are called to the scene. Not only is the scene brutal there is no evidence left behind by the killer. In less than 24 hours another family is brutally murdered. This time a prosecuting attorney and his family. When they finally piece part of the puzzle together it could end up getting Amelia killed as well.
I would recommend this series to anyone that enjoys this genre.

Agents Storm and Palmer are on the scene of a grisly murder of a family. But they are not sure who the intended target actually was. There is a witness, but she isn't much help as she is in shock seeing her family like that. Also, Agent Storm is trying to uncover information on her brother's murder. The only thing I don't like about this series is the cliffhangers, or else I would have given it 4 stars. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Book #7 in the Amelia Storm series is an exciting page turner that will keep you entertained from the first page to the last. In this episode, Amelia and the team are hunting a killer (or two?) who is targeting whole families. And to add drama to the mix, Joseph raises his ugly head. This series is so intense and thrilling. I just can’t get enough! *this honest review is based on a complimentary copy from the author*

This is the 7th book in the Amelia Storm series. It is another winner. Whole families are being murdered. Are these murders connected? Amelia and Zane are called in to find if these crimes have been committed by a serial killer. This book is a full of suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book. I highly recommend this whole series to everyone. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Review Storms Justice

To die or not to die

Autumn and Zane embark on another mystery involving murder and mayhem. What’s Joseph Larson up to? And where does Cassandra Halcott fit in? A string of murders involving participants in the trial of a drug dealer occur and it takes some investigation to make the connections. Gruesome murders by a damaged psychopath lead them to holding Cassandra in a safe house. Lots of suspense and intrigue. Mary, this is the best of the best.

They just get better

These books are not for the faint of heart. If your looking for warm and fuzzy- bunny and tea party books- skip this series. It's not it.
There are a few moments of light and amazing happiness, banter and a few uplifting moments , but the meat of this book and most of the series so far is not light.
But I can't wait to read the next. I love that there are very few superfluous descriptions or filler information.

Storm's Justice

Joseph is getting braver with his real persona. He's got a problem now with Amelia and Cassandra and came close to ending Amelia. Amelia, Zane, Sherry and Dean are after a vengeful serial killer, Joseph intervenes and kills the man leaving him a position to end Amelia but Dean shows up. Amelia makes an appointment with her brother's CI and is shocked to see who shows up.

I can’t seem to get enough of Mary & Donna’s books with the latest one being Storm’s Justice. Amelia Storm is an outstanding FBI Agent who goes against the baddest of the bad. Her fight to find the madman murdering lawyers, etc and protect the Lead Prosecutor from being slaughtered is heart racing. A must read!

Once again a well written story about an FBI case. It started out fast and continued until the very end and left the clue for the next book in this series. This series shows both the lowest that people can become and the best that people can be.
I feel as though I know these characters and like many of them.
I can hardly wait until the next book.

Wow, this addition to the series is phenomenal!! When Amelia and Zane are called to the scene of a triple murder they have no idea what to expect. As this case evolves of favorite characters are all on edge. Will they find the people involved in time before more murders occur? Will someone close to them be hurt? This one has many twists and turns and it was a wild ride!!

Two or One?

It was an interesting story. While reading this book I thought there were two individuals doing the killing. It showed how mental illness can take over and make one believe that what they are doing is for the person important to them. I'm always relieved when the individual is caught before they can continue to kill.

I love these books! The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because I reserve that for a true literary masterpiece. (Probably need to go back and check my other reviews!) This was another fast paced page turned that has sucked me right into wanting to order that last 2 books in this series and finally get all the loose ends tied up!
