Low angst and low drama, just a cute and easy read.
Safety:
Cheating: dead husband cheated on heroine off page. No cheating between MCs.
Ow/om drama: none except a wannabe ow causes a little drama.

Heroine hasn't been with anyone since husband. Hero commented it's been years since he's slept with anyone, and at least a year since I think he's dated anyone or anything like that

Single mom romance troupe is in my top go to reads. Rochelle delivers a fantastic story that ticked every box I love in a romance read.
When Baxter arrives back home he knows it’s the right decision when he spots single mom Skylar Hicks. The attraction he has for her is instant, she is stunning not just to look at but as a person. Her love for her son is something he admires.
Skylar had no intention of dating, losing her husband was bad horrible but finding out the secret he had nearly destroyed her. Her focus has been her son Simon. He’s her life. Her first encounter with Baxter is fiery, a misunderstanding that has protective mom instincts on display. Baxter is in no way put off. If anything he’s intrigued. Now he just needs to explain and win her over.
The story flowed, engaging a reader effortlessly. The characters were great. I loved that they were older and had the lives together. It was real and believable. There was no artifice in the leads.
The chemistry was smouldering, the attraction between the leads worked. The added slow burn made sense. It wasn’t over the top, Rochelle made their story sweet and sexy. You were with them every step of the way.
Minimal drama, no cheating. A safe and feel good read.

This book definitely delivers Moore heat, heart love!
Sexy, Adorable, small town romance, single mom, with a billionaire small town man. A lot of troupes in this book but it works!
Baxter returns to his hometown where his grandparents and extended family live after suffering the loss of his brother. There he sees and instantly knows Skylar is someone he wants to get to know better. I adored how Baxter was persistent and patient in his pursuit of Skylar, loved how he cared for her and slowly got past her walls. Skylar is an amazing mom and her son Simon is every parents wish for a teenage son. He's kind, funny and best of all he loves and takes care of his mom! ( his words "I'm the man of the house").
Baxter sadly has the stereotypical rich, snobby parents who try to control him, and by doing that ruin their relationship with him and their last living sons life!
This is a tricky book because the characters and storyline draw you in and then the relationship sexy, sexy 🔥🔥 times blows you away!! (pun intended🍆)!!

A fun, sweet, & steamy romance
This is a first time read by this author and I can’t wait to read more if the Moore family! Baxter and Skylar had more a butt heads than a meet cute but Baxter was already falling for the spit fire single mom after winning the lot at the car auction his grandfather told him not to even bid on. There was a sentimental value to the lot for Skylar and her son. So, when Skylar lost the lot to Baxter, momma bear ripped a new one on Baxter. From there, the sizzling chemistry between the two started simmering while Baxter persevered with his intentions towards Skylar. This book was a quick read (about two hours) and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I wanted to love this book, and there were parts of it that I did. Let's talk about those first.
I loved the premise. I'm very much a fan of the billionaire trope, and will usually check out anything that is in that genre. Baxter and Skylar were adorable together and I did enjoy seeing their relationship progress, even though there were times I was lost at how much time had passed since that first initial meeting. The fact that Skylar was unsure about getting into another relationship after losing her husband was sweet, even after she revealed that there was more to the story.
I felt that the ending of this book was rushed. While I kept waiting for the third act breakup, for some conflict to come into their story, it didn't come around till almost the end of the book, and there was no hint dropping, no foreshadowing or anything to it. Then all was well in the next chapter. I would have liked to see the conflict played up a little bit more, maybe drawn out a little more too.

“Ready for Moore” was a super cute billionaire romance with good spice and low angst. Baxter Moore is new in town, but when he sees Skylar Hicks, he’s definitely intrigued. Skylar is a widow and single mom to her teenaged son, Simon, and she has no plans to date again. I loved Baxter and Skylar, I thought they were a really great couple and that their relationship was well developed. I love how patient Baxter was with Skylar, he took the time to woo her and he didn’t push her into anything. I enjoyed Skylar as a heroine because she was fiercely protective of her loved ones, and she had a bright and lovable personality. I highly recommend!!!

I really enjoyed this book. It was low angst, low drama, cute and a fairly quick read. Baxter returns to his hometown after suffering the loss of his brother. He’s instantly attracted to Skylar when he sees her and pursues her until he breaks down her walls. Baxter was so swoon worthy and this book was nothing short of hot! Skylar and Baxter had amazing chemistry and I loved them together! Overall this was a really enjoyable book and I can’t wait to read more from Rochelle Paige.

I didn't know what to expect from this author who usually write shortest stories. She did good with this longer one. It was the same kind of story just a little longer so not a lot of drama and a lot of insta-love.

The longer I sit with this, the more I hate it. We get it, Baxter is rich. He has a Tesla and a Bentley. How do I know? It was mentioned multiple times whereas the vehicles driven by the heroine and her son who aren't rich were just generic names.
Furthermore, the way he wooed her was just by forcing himself into situations where she would be there and enlisting others to help him. It gave me a giant case of the ick and I didn't find it attractive at all.

Baxter and Skylar were lovely characters to see grow throughout the book. Baxter being a billionaire who has been hurt because of family matters and just wants to set his priorities on the things that truly matter. Skylar on the other hand, is a single mom, a widower, who has had trouble deciding if dating again is in the cards for her.
Our main characters don’t get off on the right foot initially. Baxter attempts to do a good deed, that would. benefit Skylar’s son, but doesn’t necessarily go about it in the best way. The two work things out, but Baxter’s feelings are not quite reciprocated immediately. Skylar has a lot of personal things to work through, although she has had time since her husband’s death. With the help of Skylar’s best friend, Skylar finds herself wanting to let Baxter have a chance.
All Baxter wanted was a chance to show Skylar how she really should be treated. He takes his time, gets to know her son Simon, and treats Skylar like a queen. What I love is that Baxter takes his time, even though he is the type to go after what he wants no matter what. He waits for Skylar to catch up and does his best to protect her heart. Baxter may have come home, but his biggest change would be Skylar and her son.
This is a sweet story of redemption, showing what it truly means to love and be loved by someone, and just all around a feel good story. Yes there are obstacles the main characters have to get through. Our male character has parents that refuse to accept his path in life and think they know best. Our female character unfortunately did not marry the man she thought she did and has had to accept some hard truths in the wake of his passing.

I’ve been trying to read this for several days but kept getting sidetracked with other books and life. I love low angst stories and this definitely one. Skylar is a single mom and widow who’s avoided dating in the 5 years since her husbands death.
A handsome billionaire returns to his hometown and shenanigans ensue. He gets off on the wrong foot but makes a strong recovery. The h is into him and that scared her so she resists and H gives chase.
I’m not sure why I didn’t love this more. It’s definitely not bad. I liked it but it just didn’t wow me. It’s a solid read though.
Story 3/5, Heat 2/5, Angst 1/5
Slower Medium Burn, they get it on around 65%. Anything beyond 65% for me ranks as slow burn and this was right on the cusp.
Condoms at first, no virgins, no manwhore, sex isn’t super exciting but it’s good and well written, slight OW drama, no OM drama, push away from h, no separation but a small speed bump with a bit of OW drama near end. No cheating between H/h, no cliffhanger and HEA.
Safety - fairly safe read, imo. The h’s dead husband had apparently been cheating on her for quite awhile and she had no idea until after his death. Right from the start- I knew I would love this book! It was the perfect mix of small town-but he’s still a billionaire-romance with the heroine being a single mom. The plot was amazing and an amazing quick and easy read with a swoony romance for the books. The wierd turn at the end was definitely not hinted at during the book at all and was completely shocking.

I love the dynamic between these two. There's banter & playfulness, protectiveness, and patience. Baxter doesn't usually "do" patience, but he knows bulldozing over Skylar's walls isn't the way to go. I mean, he still moves pretty quickly - but he does it in a way that it doesn't FEEL too fast. Especially since Skylar's top priority is her son, Simon.
Simon is a pretty neat character, as well. Good teen vibes - protective, loves his mom, doesn't disrespect her even when he's working through some tough emotions himself. Thumbs up!

I was in tears by chapter 2. Skylar's story is both relatable and believable. Baxter and Skylar are perfect for each other. I'm so glad Baxter never gave up and that they found their HEA. Rochelle Paige never dropped Simon, Skylar's son, from the story which made me love it even more.

Baxter is moving into his grandparents hometown, away from NYC and all the drama and stress. He meets Skylar in the first week after moving and in what spectacular way 🤣🤣 He is smitten, but she....not so much. Skylar is a single mom and widow that just stays away from men and the drama that entails. I enjoyed this one. Read it all in one day. It’s not to short and not to long. It’s the right length for the story. You aren’t left with any questions at the end. The ending sets it up for the next one but with different characters. This is Baxters and Skylers story. Baxter is a single billionaire. Skyler is a single mom from Baxters small hometown. Baxter moves back home from the city. He meets Skyler after almost crushing her son’s dreams. The way she stood up to him for her son made him want her. Problem was Skyler didn’t date. Baxter was going to be the one to change her mind. Read Baxters and Skylers story to see how Baxter gets Skyler to fall for him.

This was a easy read with less drama. I enjoyed their easy banter, their spice, and the way that Baxter fell first. How they easily fell into a comfortable dynamic and had such trust and patience.
A sweet story of two people falling in love. But also creating a found family with the inclusion of Skyler’s teenage son. All three have family issues that they work thorough together making them even closer.

I was excited to read this ARC and I wasn't disappointed this small town billionaire meets single mom romance. A lot of troupes in this one but they work. This book was a first time read from this author but I will be back for more. I really enjoyed this one it was a super cute billionaire romance with good spice and low angst. I love the more gentleman nature of our MC and how slow he is willing to take it to make sure he gets the girl of his dreams. I love how accepting of the fact she has a teenage son and is willing to get to know him without any strings. If you are into a slow going romance, winning the girl with compliments and no suspense this is your kinda story.

The title of this book is spot on for Baxter because this gentleman is 100% ready for the whole she-bang-bang! After meeting Skylar one time, he knew that there was just something about her and he had to follow through with making her apart of his life. His love interest is not even looking for love but Baxter can't help himself. He is smitten! So much fun to read this sweet and sexy story. I love Simon and look forward to his possibilities. Where is this town? i must meet more of the Moore men. As the drama unfolds I enjoyed all the detail this author put into her story. I felt as if I was there in town. Looking for the next installment!

Very mild ow drama at the end and mild family drama at the end as well. Mild love and mild feelings. It was all mild.

Skylar & Baxter don’t have the norm meet cute but actually butt heads quite a bit at the beginning. Baxter wants to take Skylar on a date & she is far from interested. Baxter basically intermingles their lives to the point where she can’t get away from seeing him and she eventually gives in and accepts his invitation.
Ready for Moore definitely has a bit of drama, but seemed a bit lacking overall for me. There wasn’t much angst and the story felt a bit underwhelming overall.

Small Town.. ✅. Sweet love story ✅. Skyler is a mama bear who stands up to a new guy in town after he bought the car her son wanted that belonged to his father. Baxter is amazed at the strong woman who told him off after buying the last car on the auction bid. After being told off Baxter gives the car to her son and explains why he did it, after that Baxter finds different ways to win over Skyler who does not date after losing her husband five years earlier. But Baxter is determined to win over this feisty mama bear.

A sweet romance between a billionaire and a single mom. Baxter was definitely swoony with all he did for Skylar and the effort he put in to winning her over. Very low on drama, very low on angst. Just a sweet story of two people falling for each other in a small town setting. Apart from Skylar’s son, not a big role for side characters, the story mainly focusing on the MC’s (just the way I like it!) I will definitely be looking into other works by this author! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
