Gear up for a thrilling undersea adventure with dynamic, engaging plots and characters. REBEL WAVE explores a near-future society of roaming submarines, underwater cities, conflicting cultures, and breathtaking ocean environments.

REBEL WAVE by Tor Thibeaux fulfilled my lifelong craving for realistic, adventurous, imaginative sci-fi. I couldn't put it down. I was deeply invested in the compelling characters and grittily real worlds and plots. It's entertaining and exciting, yet thoughtful and often touching.

Readers of all ages will be caught up in this series of short novelettes, which mimics a "season" of episodes in book form. Each is the perfect length, with its own arc and a key part of the vast larger adventure that makes up the entire season.

It makes for a bingeable series of exciting stories. The episodes are the perfect length--satisfying and not too short, but bite-sized enough to read in one delightful sitting. Each leads into the next episode while ending on a good note. I could not stop reading, and I finished one or two episodes per day until the end...and I felt a sense of loss when I couldn't experience new episodes again. I wanted it to go on forever. You'll need to have the entire season ready to read, once you start!

THE STORY

Ariana Jenkins is a young naval officer who attempts to do what's right, hold true to her values, and protect her people, even when it means clashing with corrupt authorities. When Ariana is forced to leave her home and loved ones to go undercover in an unfamiliar place, she uses her resourcefulness, mechanical skills, determination, and good heart to overcome challenges and adapt in dangerous situations--and difficult partnerships.

The entire cast of lifelike characters, and their lively relationships, is endearing, inspiring, and compelling. I laughed at their adventures and enjoyed Ariana's snark as she developed unlikely friendships and navigated frustrating situations. I loved her capable, direct nature, and how she rose to the challenge amid danger and stepped out to do something to change her world.

Whether or not you typically like sci-fi and futuristic books, this could be the sci-fi book you've been waiting for! That was the case for me. And several of my friends who don't even like sci-fi have enjoyed this book.

REBEL WAVE is exactly the type of sci-fi I've been searching for all my life. It's what I've always wanted but hardly ever found in a book. I rarely find futuristic or sci-fi novels that I enjoy. I tend to like sci-fi that feels very realistic and not too far-fetched. I also prefer character-driven books.

Tor Thibeaux writes books that are perfect for my unique taste and style as a reader. And her books will appeal to nearly everyone. I can't wait to read more of her books--and a sequel series, I hope!!

If you've been looking for futuristic adventure fiction that feels real and believable, pick up REBEL WAVE today! I can't think of any reader who won't connect with the detailed worlds, dynamic adventures, and compelling characters. It's an enjoyable adventure that will satisfy your craving for a good book. You might like it even if you don't typically read sci-fi!

And if you're like me, REBEL WAVE just might blow you away, sweep you into a captivating adventure, warm your heart, and make you want to stay in this world forever.

This was the sci-fi story I didn't know I needed. I'm not even a huge sci-fi fan but THIS. I was sucked in at episode one and practically binged the rest as fast as I could. I literally have nothing bad to say about it. Loved the writing style, loved the storyline, loved the characters!! No complaints whatsoever other than the fact that I now have to wait for season 2.
Henderson is a gem and I love him to death.
