The cold man fell in love with the kind girl because he knew that she deserved the world and that he wanted to be the one who gave it to her.
♡
Alette Faye was a sweet girl. She was exceptionally kind and had an air of simplicity. Between her part-time job at the bakery, her classes, her time spent tending to her flowers and walking in the fields, she didn't get the opportunity to experience much. Her past created fears in her that she seemingly couldn't overcome, and then she met him.
For when she meets him, she should have run away in fear, but she stayed. She stayed and she opened her big heart for a man who found his heart, just for her.
- Soft girl - grumpy x sunshine - little push away from hero - both has a painful past - complete each other like puzzles heck yaaas - loveable side charas! - overflowing chemistry - I can go both ways w them 🥵 - Each other's first and only ( Virgin Men for me are hot af idk idc ) - Completely safe, leads faithful w each other! HEA though little ow drama ...
Bro, Don't get me started with this or I will just kept on going and going on with how I love all the characters in this story. Everyone are sweethearts, they are all likeable Istg. And the heroine, is such a softieee ( childish for some ) I loveee her. I have an intense girl girl crush w her. Hero waaaaas broo he is a man of few words at first but his whipped ass get him to talking ✨ Ares and Stone were my top two Fictional Wattpad Men. He is so ideal, Always asks consent for everything, very considerate, Hot af!
No detailed spice or smut bc the author wasn't comfortable writing it but brooo the whole story would really make up for it, the smut wasn't really needed for how puree and precious the characters in it were.
Read it on wattpad noooow 🙏✨🦋

I have no words. I didn't think I would find a book like Lilah, Dalaric etc but I found this and I'm so happy. It was just perfect. Grumpy/sunshine, cute moments, trauma, comfort, friends, family, love. Ares was totally whipped and I adored his POVs. Him being jealous of the cats was hilarious. Alette is amazing and them together is just adorable. The bonus chapters were everything and I literally melted from the ones with Ares POV. The last chapter before the epilogue felt familiar so now I'm not sure if I've read this story before or not. Probably not. I just can't stop gushing about them. And now that baby Ardelia has joined the family, I'm obsessed. Also already anxious for Jakob's book.
It was good at the start and mids but it was just way too long and it dragged out for quite a while towards the end. A lot of it didn’t need to be in there and it would have improved the book. Also the writer could have kept the length but made the chapters shorter and have more of them to keep the reader interested.
I have to be honest I stopped at chapter 26, it was honestly a beautiful read to begin with but I felt a struggle to keep going and eventually lost engagement. I felt that as the story went on it began to become very normal, like there wasn’t anything there pulling me in, tying me down willing me to keep reading. However the story from what I read was very lovely.
I don't know why I used to like this one. I hate when they infantilize main female characters in literature. Alette was understandably much more innocent than most women her age but she was written in a way that a 6 year old child would act. I like her but I don't believe she's that juvenile. The entire time I was trying really hard not to judge her but I always end up cringing.
Her fears are valid. Her anxiety is valid. Her insecurities are valid. Her child-like wondrous joy is valid. But her child-like approach to everything, despite knowing things that a child wouldn't, is simply a bit too hard to grasp. I'd understand if she has a mental disorder but with the exception of PTSD and severe anxiety, she seems normal. She doesn't have Peter Pan Syndrome because despite behaving like a child, she knows how to take responsibility and accountability of her actions. She's even selfless and emotionally mature even with her tons of insecurities. She also doesn't seem to have intellectual disability because she's able to go to school in a normal way. Despite her severe anxiety, she's able to adapt well and learn quickly. With my limited experience & knowledge with people who have been sexually abused as a child, my understanding is that they act more child-like than their age but as they grow old they turn that child-like persona into a different form of self-preservation such as emotional isolation, lack of close relationships, severe lack of self-care, disassociating, and being hyper-independent. From what we know of Alette, she's selfless but she still cares for herself as much as a regular person does. She has friends and she is emotional. She's anxious but she's expressive of her emotions. And while she tries to be independent, she still knows how to lean on her family and friends. So I'm still at a loss as to why she's like this.
I absolutely love this book. Alette and Aresius relationship is so so sweet. I’m so in love with how the communicate, which is just dream of. And the fact they care so much about each other, showing it every second makes me sooo lonely. I honestly fell in love so much with both of them. Alette- such a baddie when she wants to be one. My cute little baby. I especially loved her nicknames for Ares ‘my love’ OMG PLS GIVE ME HER. Aresius- my other love. He’s such a great character. I loved his POV’s and the way she feels about the FC. You literally can tell that he wants everything the best for her. Side characters? CHEFF kiss. I’m feeling a lot of love towards Grasso and his kiddo. They were so prefect, honestly. I loved the way the author shows the love between the main characters. I fell in love with every damn single thing they did. And the writing? I enjoyed it so so much!! If you’re looking for a really really cute, adorable, sweet read with really amazing created characters this book is definitely for you! One of my favs from those kind of books!!
The book is extremely good, so cute and wholesome, it is literally my comfort book, all the characters are incredibly written and you'll literally get diabetes from the sweetness and the cuteness of the book, you'll not regret reading it, trust me it is really amazing and the best part is that both the leads are each other's first and last and their is no cliché drama involving other women or anything, both are extremely loyal and not much drama otherwise too, you'll love it if you want to read a cute fluffy book and the writing of author is amazing, this book is seriously like a free therapist, loved it
4⭐️ Ngl, I don’t remember much about this book but I remember that it was lowkey a vibe. I skimmed through some parts of it, but it was still good. Their relationship was so heartwarming and pure, man I want that so bad some days. I’m so touched deprived. Anyways, the book is a solid 4 stars, it deserves a reread someday and a better review..kinda. I just read it at a weird time in my life so yeah my mind was all over the place. Wattpad is at it again 🙏
Just… wow. I could write a much longer review, but this’ll do for now. I read this last year, but I can’t remember when or what month etc. Safe, and free to say that this, and “For Jakob” are the best two books I have ever read on Wattpad. The best ever. I recommend these two so so much. This author needs to release these books into the real world and I’ll be more than happy to buy copies. My goodness. Actually wow.
Reminds me of Lilah. This story is just a lot of fluff. Not a lot of drama and crazy action, so it felt like a really long epilogue to me. There was some weird time skips in the story but it didn’t really matter that much since the entire (or half) story was kinda like filler content. Cute though!
COMFORT BOOK!!! I love alette. I love ares. I love everything about their relationship. the way they communicate is just EVERYTHING!! this was everything I want in a relationship. also, I was WAYYY too interested in adrik 😭 I hope he has his own book because as much as I loved the mcs I couldnt concentrate on them when adrik was around. I cant deny it, I'm a simp.

I don’t usually add books that I’ve read on Wattpad onto Goodreads but this book is everything and I love it so much. I’ve already re-read it a few times and can see myself doing it over and over again. I’d love to have a physical copy in my hands one day.
This is a story of love. The journey of Alette and Ares is about personal growth and finding courage in themselves. It’s a soft romance where two main characters learn to love and be loved. 10/10.
