I have to deduct one star for the proliferation of first-person narrative text boxes that are repetitive, redundant, or just absent of any real content or meaning. Lots of them are just tedious little folksisms of the protagonist. If the artwork weren't so beautiful and the story so compelling, it would be a bigger problem. Still loving the series and this ish was great!

This issue, in which SG needs to endure for a day under a poison sun, doesn’t have quite the punch as previous issues, but I love the dynamism of this series — each issue provides a slightly different experience. For this issue, the slow crawl of survival stands in contrast to the breathless pace of some earlier issues. As a standalone, it’s not as strong, though it’s useful for the overall arc of the miniseries.

A survival issue where Kara has to last a day sick and powerless. This lets her companion step up. Another solid issue for Supergirl.

"just know that she was in desperate need and i could do nothing" 😞

It's always darkest before the dawn. But in this case it's always brightest before the dusk.
