Lindsay was the type of heroines that gives you second hand embarrassment due to their actions. My girl was a horny creep and got caught but thankfully, Emmett wasn't bothered by it, so I'll let it slide. She was shy because of her size and very much of an hermit, always hidden in her room working on digital art.
There wasn't many chapters with Emmett's POV, and I'm not going to lie, I wasn't expecting him to be OTT and obsessed with Lindsay, yet it waslove lust at first sight and he was very eager to make her his. The way that he was before offically meeting her was definitely on the ''I look good, I know it and so do you'' side. Obviously, he was gorgeous and hot and surprisingly, a virgin. That part, I really found hard to believe, not only because he was attractive (I know it doesn't mean anything) but because of his outgoing attitude as well as his strong flirty vibes. He'd never met Lindsay and the way he was texting her and coaxing her to send him a selfie just screamed f*ckboy to me, like he was used to asking that of girls. So when he told her he was a virgin too, my reaction was like: ''Right''😒 By the way his character was written, it really didn't feel genuine to me even though it was true.
Their relationship, once they first met, developed too quickly for my liking. The characters weren't very layered, they were too simple, too one dimensional. I understand this is an insta-love OTT romance but I just thought it was too unbelievable for me to really connect with the story...The first half I thought was enjoyable and entertaining, even with the embarrassing moments because it did pull reactions out of me. But the second half of this novella was uneventful and just focused of the main characters craving each other.
An other thing that slightly irked me was how the relationship stemmed from a fetish rather than Lindsay and Emmett truly connecting. It's like she could've been anyone, as long as she was full-figured and he would've been into her. Emmett was too focused on the heroine's size in my opinion and it didn't feel like he took the time to love her for her. I know, I know! It's all fictions and fantasies but I didn't like how superficial the relationship was. I was also very bothered when Lindsay mentioned she had tried to lose some weight but that Emmett was hell-bent on refusing that. Like, if she wants to lose a couple pounds and be more comfortable in her own skin, that's her choice, and her boyfriend should love and support her no matter what. No?
And you don't do body positivity by shaming and looking down on other body types. I know, I'm probably too serious for little ol' novella but quotes like this is an issue for me and always will be:

But Linds left something behind her phone this doesn't make Emmett mad nope it makes him wonder about Linds and when he sees her he is sprung and ready to breed his girl.

It's been a while since I've read an Olivia T. Turner book. She loves over-the-top with happy endings and this book does NOT disappoint on either front.
The bathroom scene is insanely erotic and alluring. And then there's the kitchen, the living room,.... You get the picture. I kinda like how dirty and forward Emmett is and it definitely works for Lindsay. 🔥🎉🔥💜🔥 I definitely liked this quick read! Mmmhmm!

I do love how loves her body though because Lindsay is very self-conscious about her body. He's all "the more I learn, the more I like" and I'm over here like "DUDE, you barely know the chick!" And the ending was... kinda creepy, not gonna lie.

Hmmm….few things made me turned off. I mean, this one was hot, the sex part was super H•O•T hot, but Lindsay, our Heroine, was unbelievable.
❌❌❌First, as the plots say, she was a curvy beauty, BUT I think calling her a curvy beauty was a compliment, because the thing is, she shouldn’t be that beautiful as the contents showed:
SEE?? 1⃣️ She eat junk food every day for a long time and 2⃣️ she has no workouts routine at all, 3⃣️ she stays at one place in her bedroom all freaking day, 4⃣️ only two largest sweaters fit for her size in the closet. (doesn’t she shopping at all? Or, at least online shopping maybe??😭)
Basically, from the reading, what do you expect me to imagine a girl like this, she was a juicy curvy sexy beauty or, OR a normal fat girl?

I usually love OTT because . . . Well they are O.T.T when it comes to insta-love and alpha-hunks, ooh who can forget the definite HEA with ever story. Sometimes you just need a few definites in your life.
This one was just - how can I put this nicely - too creepy, boxer-sniffing, stalker chick for me. But that's just me. It was just weird. I mean she hides herself in her room because she had a case of insta-crushing lust on her new roommate then she oogles him, unknowingly, while he sleeps in the buff; proceeds to sneak into his room to roll around in his bed while he is gone at work, as though she is scenting her territory. I mean the only thing she doesn't do is smell is boxers.
The whole situation is extreme. Take it with a big spoonful of wishful thinking because if I was that guy that found out my roommate had been going into my room to play Goldilocks and the 3 bears with me, I would not be as understanding.
As I said expect OTT situations and plenty of steamy. Don't forget that HEA that magically happens in the short period of time. While I liked other books by this author, this one was not one of my favs.

Plot: Lindsay is sad to see her roommate go, but her roommate's cousin is taking over the lease, so she won't be alone for long. But when Emmett moves in, he's not what she expecting at all. He's stupid hot, and she is terrified to even come out of her room. Once Emmett does see her though, he is head over heels for her and it becomes his mission to drag her out of her room and back into living.
Commentary: Lindsay, like a lot of us, is disappointed in the amount of weight she gained during quarantine and in the failure of plans afterward to fix that. Emmett doesn't see extra quarantine weight though; he sees his perfect woman. There's a lesson in there! He also helps her find some passion again in her art. This was a short, easy read - insta-love, lots of heat.

Commentary: Lindsay, like a lot of us, is disappointed in the amount of weight she gained during quarantine and in the failure of plans afterward to fix that. Emmett doesn't see extra quarantine weight though; he sees his perfect woman. There's a lesson in there! He also helps her find some passion again in her art. This was a short, easy read - insta-love, lots of heat.

I absolutely loved this story. This short story was hot ,passionate and steamy.
Wow the instant attraction between these two is off the charts.
Lindsay was so sweet, shy and awkward, but also has a low self esteem about her self. She feels the safest hiding in her room, but the new sexy hot roommate is the one to pull her out of hiding. He show's her she is a beautiful curvy woman that he can't get enough of.
Emmett can't believe this gorgeous woman has been hiding in her room for the past few days.. well things are about to change, he will do everything he can to make her his.

Emmett was sexy AF in his "you are mine" attitude. And Lindsay was adorable in her insecurety, and I really connected with her 'cause we are alike in many aspects.
So yeah I think it's the perfect summer/vacay novella 😌

So freaking psyched that Ms OTT is BACK!!! This one was scrumptious. A totally over the top male completely gone for his girl…and his love and encouragement was just what she needed to draw her out of her shell.
This one was deliciously double virgins and totally 100% safe with lots of baby making and a HEA with epilogue to swoon over. I can’t wait for more of this from this author.

I thought that this was a great book. I loved Lindsay; she had me rotflmao! I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry between Lindsay and Emmett. Lindsay thinks that there is no way a man like Emmett could go for a woman like Lindsay but she has another thing coming for her as Emmett becomes obsessed with her. Emmett is exactly who Lindsay needs in her life and Emmett helps Lindsay out of her comfort zone. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Olivia as a must read amazing author!

If you like your stories hot from the start, then this is the story for you. Lindsey has been sharing her apartment with her best friend Anna, she is a bit of a hermit. but now Anna is going home to be with her family, which means Lindsey will be there without her best friend, only Anna’s cousin Emmett is coming to live in the apartment with Lindsey. When they finally see each other it’s instant attraction and they lose their virginity to each other and then it’s steamy hot sex from there on. They eventually live happily ever after very much in love and with their family they have.

Nah. I don’t know why I came back to one of these. This book is extremely dirty, but in a bad way (at least to personal taste). I think it’s because there’s so much smut, but it doesn’t really feel like there’s a genuine connection between the characters 🤷🏻♀️.

I really liked this instalove story. It was entertaining and enjoyable but I had a couple of questions. The characters were interesting and likable. Anna was a great best friend to Lindsay and it was awesome that she helped get a roommate that would take her place. Lindsay was easy to relate to. She was talented, introverted, and special. Emmett was outgoing, possessive, and sweet. Lindsay was so worried about meeting Emmett that she hid in her room which was totally relatable. When she saw Emmett in the flesh she wasn't prepared. Emmett wasn't prepared when he finally met Lindsay in the flesh, but he knew he wanted to keep her. The rules that Emmett came up with had me cracking up. Lindsay was floored by his rules but agreed with them. I would have liked to know how Anna took them getting together. I wanted Emmett to give Anna crap about not introducing him to Lindsay sooner. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.
