The truth is out. Dorian Gray has ruled Sangford from the shadows for almost a hundred years and in that time he's killed countless people and indirectly caused the deaths of many more. Like most people in the city, Jacob learned to look the other way. But now he knows Dorian was responsible for his mother's death he can look the other way no longer.
His entire life, his uncle was training him to kill with one target in mind. Dorian Gray.
But Jacob doesn't know how to kill Dorian Gray. And neither does anybody else.
With the truth revealed, Jacob gets started on his toughest assassination yet. It doesn't take long for Dorian to realise what Jacob is up to and then the game is set. Jacob has to find a way to kill the immortal before the immortal catches and kills him. Dorian Gray caused his mother’s death. Now Jacob is going to cause his.
The problem is, Dorian is protected by a vast network of people. With a highly-skilled wizard on one side of him and an almost invincible vampire on the other, Dorian is impossible to get to. So if Jacob wants to take down the immortal he's going to have to Kill Them All.
Sean is a writer and reader of all kinds of books, but he particularly enjoys books with 413 pages. He lives alone in Maidstone with his cats, Molly and Klaus, in an apartment that does not allow pets. He is also quite sure that one of them is trying to kill him. It’s a good thing he’s immortal.
He works as a lab technician by day and writes rather marvelous books by night. Sometimes he writes in the day too, but those books aren’t as good.
Jacob Graves is back, and he’s better than ever. We pick up almost exactly where we left off in the last one, and poor Jacob can’t catch a break in this latest. It’s hard to say too much about this book as there’s some interesting developments I don’t want to spoil, but what I can say is that this is a very pivotal book in the series, and I think this book is the best in the series. Jacob has really grown as a character, and I can’t wait to see what is next in store with Leah, Jasmine, and Jacob, as well as the one mentioned at the end! LOL! Well-written urban fantasy with lots of great action! Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
Sean Stone at his best. This book is edge of the seat reading as Jacob finds his way out of one impossible situation to the next. The climax leaves you breathless, there is also the promise of more to come. I highly recommend this series
