SAVING THE SAUTIITIONS is the second book in Melissa Smith’s saucy alien romance series.
I was amazed by the way Smith was able to passionately intertwine her characters without losing steam. Flipping from Kari’s to Jeff’s points of view gave me different perspectives of their out of this world experiences with their alien partners.
Also, I was impressed with the way Smith introduced the characters from another series into her story. It was a great way to link the stories!
The story line is intriguing, and I can’t wait to find out more!
I recommend the book for mature readers.

Traveling in space, Kari remains fierce as Captain on the ship and apprenticing chieftess in the village. She allows Vahru to lead behind closed doors, and he is a droolworthy boss at that. Be prepared for this second book to really amp up the steam. 😉🤩
Kari, Vahru, Jeff, and Willa, along with the Sautii Melodia and Tonya, continue in their mission to save the stranded Sautiitions, then there is a whole lot of story after that happens. We get both Kari and Jeff’s POVs as we watch their relationships with Vahru and Willa, respectively, progress and grow. Jeff is finding himself to be more capable of leading than he thought, as he takes a more dominant role with Willa and accepts more responsibility once back in the village. We are introduced to a few new characters that I’m very interested in learning more about in future books. The end has a great twist that I didn’t see coming, and it definitely gets you excited to see where the next book takes us!

This is the second book in the series and the steam was knocked up to another level! The world building and getting to see more of the universe was wonderfully written. The characters are complex and you feel the emotions they feel along with them. This was a wonderful addition to the series and just when I thought I knew how the series was going to go the ending makes you stop and question everything you thought you knew.
Wonderful twists and turns that keep you on your toes through out the entire book. Get ready for a roller coaster!

A Fantastic Sequel!
I absolutely LOVE the interplay between the characters in this book! They are all so unique, and their relationships are beautiful to watch!
Vahru is just as deliciously wonderful, and Kari is our lovable and incredibly dedicated heroine. Their relationship really finds it’s stride in this sequel, and I think one of my absolute favorite parts of this novel was watching their bond grow. I adore Vahru, absolutely adore him!
This is truly a gripping and phenomenal Sci fi romance, with not a dull moment to be found. Melissa Smith has created a beautiful universe that readers won’t be able to get enough of! It’s truly incredible!

Kari and Vahnu are back and continuing their mission to save the Sautiituations. With the help of Jeff, Willa, Tonya and Melodia, they journey to Sauttious 5. No mission goes off without a hitch and they have a minor setback. Kari really embraces her role of saving aliens in the universe. With Vahnu, Jeff, Willa, Tonya and Melodia at her side, she is destined to do great things.
There are a few surprises in the book. No spoilers, but you might see some familiar characters on the pages!

Saving the Sautiituations is a creative, imaginative read. The story isn’t overly dark and the characters are fun and exciting. Melissa Smith turns up the heat in this book - we went from a pinch of spice in book one to straight fire in book two. I’m always here for the alien spicy scenes. Overall, fun sci-fi read!

In Book two, we continue following Kari and Vahru as they continue their mission and free a planet.
I absolutely loved everything about this book. The plot was fun and interesting, giving us a good amount of action, adventure and romance. The characters were written well and interacted well, with dialogue that felt natural. The steam between the couples was great, being added in to break up some of the tension through the action. Everything about this book was spot on.
Since this is book two, reading book one would bring insight into what is happening, but isn't absolutely necessary. The author does a great job explaining what is happening and recapping important things from book one.

I knew I loved this series after book one, and this one really solidified it!
This book is full of emotion, love, and angst. The characters are so easy to connect with.
The chemistry between Kari and Vahru is explosive. Jeff and Willa are so sweet together.
When Vahru and Jeff let their alpha sides out to play, it's a whole new person from the sweet men they are to everyone else.
This book has lots of twists and turns I never expected, and I'm super excited to learn more about the newest bonded mates.
These purple aliens have stolen my heart, and I can't wait for more of them all! Especially the new ones introduced in this book!

This is such a great book, unexpected twists and surprises! I love the relationships between Vahru and Kari and Jeff and Willa, and Kari and Jeff. The story flows really well and is the perfect follow on from Sautiitions Hope. These books have opened up my world to love sci-fi fantasy! Thanks Mel 😘

Loved the second book as much as the first one! This book ramps up the action and the steam!! Wow, does the steam get amped up!! Kari really comes into her own after learning of her destiny! Her sense of duty towards helping others is even stronger in this book. I adore the cast of characters that she has claimed as her new family, of sorts. Kat and Vahru’s relationship grows much deeper in this book, as does Jeff and Willa’s relationship! This book has some definite twists and turns that make it hard to put down. Family secrets are exposed, a new potential threat on the horizon….I need book 3!!!

Wonderful
This is book two in the Across the cosmos and Melissa Smith once again does a wonderful job. I couldn't put this book down and wanted to read it straight throw until the end. The world building is great. Once again we follow Kari and Vahru. Jeff, Willa, Melodia, and Tonya too. These characters grow so much in this book not only on their own but in their relationships as well. This is what I loved most about the book. There is a lot of fun and steam as well. I highly recommend this book.

This was a fantastic read that hooked me from the beginning and I had a very hard time putting it down. It moves along at a really great pace that works perfectly for the story. The characters are awesome and you will love them and you want to see them overcome whatever may show up. This is a book that needs to be on your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did.

What starts off as a rescue mission to save a planet, suddenly goes horribly wrong. Once that crisis is resolved, things settle down and all are safe on their new planet, another twist occurs and tragedy is barely everted. And the twists keep coming!

This is the second book in the series, and while it would be a great read on its own, if you have not read the first you should go back and read it in order to really get a better understanding on what is happening.
Melissa has really upped the ante with this one, giving us readers more danger, aliens and steamy scenes! We are given more insight into the lives of not only Kari and Vahru, but also Jeff and Willow. I loved seeing them grow, in their relationship with each other and how they become one with the village also.
There were several twists and turns in this book that I was constantly engaged with the story, and never felt bored with it. The ending definitely caught me by surprise, and I cannot wait to see how our heroes' stories continue!

We continue our wild ride through the cosmos with Kari and Vahru. The romance is hotter and the stakes are higher in this second installment of the series. Melissa has talent for building worlds. Her descriptions are beautifully written, and you'll be immersed in the story. The plot in this second book was mind blowing, and I couldn't put it down. There is a cliffhanger, and I can already tell book three is going to be fantastic! I can't wait to read the rest of this series!

I may have written this, but I most definitely feel it's worth 5 stars! So much happens in this story! Not to mention the steam and heartwarming romance moments that made me swoon while writing. I almost cried a time or two as well. There are some hard moments that are probably going to be tough to read, they were tough to write, but I have a feeling that if you loved SH, you'll love this one even more!!

Wowzers! This book will have you hooked from the start. Melissa Smith has done a fantastic job! More steam! More Action! And More laughs. I love Kari she's brilliant and funny and her nickname for Vahru.. well just wait and see.

Aaaahhhh!!! I loved this!!! Not only do we get multiple POVS we get to see characters from the New Life Series!!!! Yall don't understand!!! I live for moments like this!!!! Seeing Kari and Vahru's relationship grow as they become more acquainted outside of the bond is so endearing to see!! Being in her head is great and all but also seeing all the other POVs and what's going on when she isn't around was also so good!!

Melodia can kick some behinds!!! I have grown fond of Tonya and Melodia and for a second I was worried for them, but seeing Melodia be so incredible was so heartwarming!!! Out of the two I always pictured Tonya as the tougher one but I'm glad Melodia can hold her own. Seeing Vahru get emotional was understanding but also endearing to see him still put Kari's emotions and needs before his. And being inside Jeff's mind was amazing!! Especially witnessing how good he would be as Kari's future adviser and maybe even Captain. The one and bigger shock of all was not only the last POV but him getting soul-bound!!! Honestly, I'm still in shock!! He definitely seemed like a total grouch! But now that leaves more questions than answers!!! I can't wait to dive into book 3 for sure!

Saving the Sautiitions is book two in the Among the Cosmos series by Melissa Smith. It is a sci-fi romance that has some mystery, intrigue, and of course some spice.

I believe it when an author goes worlds and series together. It’s fun to see how everything plays out in parallel timelines. This book does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. I am so glad that I can now read the next book to see what happens next.

This is book two in the Among The Cosmos series and it continues the story of Kari, Vahru, Jeff, Willa, and the Sautiitions (Tonya and Melodia). It covers the rescue mission to save the Sautiitions as well as some drama back in the village. I enjoyed seeing more personal interactions between Jeff and Willa as well as the story being told from his POV too. Between secrets being exposed, super steamy scenes, and new characters being added, this book was such a joy to read and I can't wait for the next one in the series.

Another fantastic voyage into the stars with Kari and her team! Saving a whole race & settling into a new home was quite the adventure! I really enjoyed getting to see more of Jeff and Willa's story in this book & I hope we get to see more from them as the journey continues. I already can't wait to see what's up next in book 3!

Twists, turns, secrets, lies, betrayal, passion, heat, humor, and adventure are the things that await you in this second book in the Among the Cosmos series. I feel like everything was taken to the next level, and I couldn't read this one fast enough.

As the second book in this series, the story is continued in a wonderful and inventive way. I love the power dynami s between Kari and Vahru and how they basically lead as a team to do what is best for their community. More steam and spice than the first book, which I LOVED. The world building was next level and I love how in depth this story goes into the concept of this world, along with the others. A fun and exciting story with some really great plot twists which make the story even better, great read!

This second book the Cosmos series is great. Melissa brings her characters to life with ease and yo feel like you are home again reading of Kari's new purpose, savings alien life in danger. With her mate by her side as well as Jeff and his mate, they plan missions. We see Charlie again and his dad and I love their scenes. There is danger, angst, discovery and love. All great ingredients in this great story. The series should be ready in order.
