Now Cecil has Duddz’s lightning fast reflexes and mad gaming skills, while Duddz is stuck with Cecil’s stubby fingers and really bad banana allergies. But when their plans backfire and Cecil turns them power mad, Moomy, Chase, Lexi, Mike, and Shawn to join have to step in to try to save the day. Can the family find a way to stop Cecil, save Duddz, banish a nasty ghost, and get everyone back into their rightful bodies before it’s too late?

fgteev switcharoo rescue

I enjoyed this book because in the action scenes it felt like it was put together like a movie and I was an intense battle at the end. Thumbs up to the illustrator and Fgteev

This book is under review at my elementary even though it was in our Scholastic Book Fair. Although it wasn't purchased by HES Boosters, as they don’t want TV shows in our library collection, a
student wanted to read it so I got it from the Multnomah County Library. I read it last night and actually laughed out loud! This is a great book but the 3rd grade student inquired what "peeping tom" meant. So, I'm giving this student these half definitions:
https://www.collinsdictionary.com/
If you refer to someone as a Peeping Tom, you mean that they secretly watch other people

https://en.wiktionary.org/
A person who watches another without the other's permission and usually without the other's knowledge.

https://definitions.uslegal.com/
A peeping Tom a person who stealthily peeks into windows,

The sexual nature of this term is NOT in this book at all. You see the dad of the family and the next door neighbor boy accidentally change bodies. So the neighbor boy (really the dad) is worried about his family and is trying to see how they are doing. Fun book. Got this 3rd grade student reading like crazy ... must have for every elementary library collection for reluctant readers who are gaming fans and lovers of this popular tv show.

Two of the characters switch bodies in a game - thus the "switcheroo" reference. It is a funny story, and kids who like the show or like to play video games will probably like the book. There is a weird part when one character calls another a "peeping Tom", so this might not be a book for young kids. This book is part of a series and the readers might want to read the other books first, but you don't have to do that to enjoy the book. Overall, it is a good book. (review, Jorman 8th grade)

This book served as an introduction to comics for my 6 yo. He loved it and we have several more lined up. I have to say that I looked forward to reading it with him, but it might have been more for his giggles and cuddles. Overall an enjoyable, fun read.

This was a very good book with a lot of drama. Duddy thought Cecil was a gamer nerd because all he did was play video games. But the Duddy and Cecil both switched bodies and had to find a way to switch their bodies back to normal.

My son is obsessed with fgteev, and he wanted me to read the book to him. He loves the adventures of the FGTeeV family. Now I have to get the other books for him and his siblings!

Cecil has maxed out Duddz credit card by using an old controller Duddz threw in the trash. Trying to get it back they fight over it and they end up switched. Cecil becomes Duddz and Duddz is Cecil. It's Duddz and Moomy's anniversary which makes for a harrowing adventure as she makes Duddz who is really Cecil take her out to a restaurant. While Duddz posing as Cecil has to care for grandma. It's very confusing for everyone. Milo is trying to get close to Lexi. The police are chasing Cecil and Duddz. They all end up at a gamer's tournament where they have to defeat the power that has been unleashed by the old controller. Fun, exciting, interesting story.
