Attitude is Everything but what exactly is Attitude? Is it how we perceive ourselves or how others perceive us? Is our attitude same as our personality? How can we have the best attitude to succeed in life?
Attitude is your superpower answers all these questions comprehensively. This book not only tells us what makes an attitude but also how to improve it, how to use it as a superpower to succeed in life especially in one's career.
This book contains many examples and instances from author's own life and career to explain the concepts. The writing style is very engaging and motivating. It feels like having a personal talk with a mentor or watching a TED talk.
This book contains many practical lessons which can be easily applied in life. The book is well structured and explains many components that make up attitude like positivity, emotional intelligence etc. I liked this book and would recommend it to everyone!
This is a solid book that is easy to read. I like to pick up books like this to read while waiting at the dentist's or doctor's office because they are upbeat and offer little nuggets of wisdom. I especially recommend this book to young adults.
Attitude is your superpower by Eduardo Clemente The impact of Postive thinking and postive attitude is something we all know about, but only few can maintain a positive attitude in face of obstacles.
Edwardo Clemente presents a comprehensive way of achieving that Positive attitude and willingness, and talks about the changes we need to make to achieve our goals, by bringing effective changes in our behaviour, mindset and how we respond to a task.
I liked how the chapters progressed, each topic be it about growth mindset, adaptibility or resilience, was short, clear, to the point. Main Focus was on building a constructive approach to achieve these desired goals. Writing and language is begginer friendly and very accessible for begginer readers dipping into Self book.
If you are looking to read a book to help you grow professionally and personally then pick this up.
3.5 stars Really good and short read for developing a personal work style built around a positive attitude. Probably most helpful for younger workers but lots of good in here for the recently promoted or those who would like to be.
Author drifts into his own anecdotal history to prove his point making this an occasional memoir and a summary of key points at the end of each chapter would have been helpful but all in all it's not a bad read to help inventory your work behaviors and attitudes.
Attitude is your Superpower is a powerful and inspiring book, encouraging readers to take control of their attitudes and use them as a tool for success and happiness.
Clemente argues that your attitude has a huge impact on every aspect of our lives, from our relationships and careers to our health and overall well-being.
He offers practical and actionable advice on how to cultivate a positive attitude, even in the face of challenges and setbacks.
One of the standout features of this book is its emphasis on the importance of personal responsibility.
Clemente encourages readers to take ownership of their attitudes and to actively choose to adopt a positive perspective, rather than simply reacting to external circumstances.
Throughout the book, Clemente shares anecdotes and personal stories that illustrate the transformative power of a positive attitude.
He also includes exercises readers can use to practice adopting a more positive outlook in their own lives.
Overall, Attitude is Your Superpower is a valuable and thought-provoking read that will leave you feeling motivated and empowered to make positive changes in your own life.
Whether you're looking to improve your relationships, succeed in your career, or simply live a happier and more fulfilling life, this book is sure to provide valuable insights and guidance.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to improve their attitude and make positive changes in their lives.
Attitude is all about how others perceive you and how you percieve yourself. And this is the most difficult task among our generation that they couldn't make other perceive them as good person. And this perception is the one reason which can create a life changing success for a person.
In the book "Attitude is your superpower" author gave few advices on how changing our attitude can change others perception towards ourselves. I totally loved the concept of book and the lessons given there. The chapters I loved the most from the book are - -Confidence -Positivity -Growth mindset -Managing expectations -Adaptability -Problem solving
In this book you will learn- ✨How your confidence plays a role in cultivating a positive attitude. ✨How our growth mindset is essential to the world and for adapting to anything that comes along. ✨How our attitude will help us become more adaptable. ✨What emotional intelligence is and how it impacts your attitude. ✨What happens when you say yes more often than no. ✨How and when to manage people's expectations of you. ✨That attitude can be changed without changing your personality.
This book can become another timeless classic like 'attitude is everything' and can be really helpful with positivity and growth mindset.
This one is recommended for all people who want to change their attitude and who would like to be free from negative mindset which stops you from being successful. It can also be a book for those who want to adapt the leadership mindset and a person who want to be loved by other team members.
This book reminds me of a quote by one philosopher that “As human beings, we have a tendency to react to any situation but in fact what we need is a Response”, this response that how we project ourselves in such situations is nothing but ATTITUDE.
The book is small, hardly 200 pages but the content it covered is really engaging and worth to read. I felt this book as a power packed lunch or a strong expreso shot.
It talks about how to improve one’s attitude and the traits(Confidence, Positivity, Resilience) one needs to acquire in achieving it.
Each chapter is organized so perfectly, like a building block and each one makes the foundation for upcoming one.
Though each chapter deserves a separate book(s) to discuss or brainstorm ideas, but as the author suggested this serves as reference point in identifying the gaps and work on individual traits.
Overall it is a great book and helpful as a quick reference guide to traits, which assists people in becoming the best of themselves.
You are, what you think and you can think, what you wanna become…it’s as simple as that! I wonder how effortlessly the author has made this esoteric concept understandable by a general audience like you and me. You are in charge of what situation you are facing now or how you feel and don’t be surprised when the author reveals that you can actually alter it according to how you want just by fixing your attitude. That’s a superpower that each one of us holds.
The best part of this book is that each of the facts stated in it is supported by some exercises and scenarios that will make you believe in them more strongly. The author has carefully kept the language lucid to make such profound topics graspable. Filled with amusing concepts, this book was indeed an inspiring one!
Failure […] You’ll live through it, you’ll learn from it, and it will create a greater chance of success next time.
Recently, I was looking for a book that could help me develop my mental health and my attitude in some ways. The title of this book caught my attention and I became curious about its content and therefore I ordered it. I had many expectations concerning its content, since I knew the headlines of each chapter, but in some ways I realized that my expectations were partly unreasonable.
Since the author works in a bank company, his recommendations may not be useful to everybody at first, but there are certainly some things that the reader can use for his/her own growth and improvement of one’s attitude. He speaks of his personal experiences which in my opinion is one of the best ways to make recommendations. Thus I can use some recommendations for my recent life situation and have another perspective to my own behaviour. But some things he talks about are based on research that he made which shows that he’s also interested in going further than his own experiences. Some of the articles he speaks about encourage the reader to read them, too in case he/she is interested in widening his/her horizon, which I liked very much.
Some things like some explanations seem very simple on first sight, but in the end I realized that my way of thinking may be complicated and there could be a simple explanation to certain aspects. So I tried to transfer some ideas of the author’s on my life – some worked better, some not so well – but that’s not what the author promises anyway. It’s more like my realization that my expectations were unreasonable concerning some aspects.
Attitude is your superpower of Eduardo Clemente is a good and simply written book that wants to help the reader change his/her attitude in basic ways. He speaks of his own experiences which is a plus for this book and therefore I would recommend it. However, it is written from the point of view of an entrepreneur who’s working in a bank company which makes some of his recommendations not useable for everybody.
Kurzrezension (deutsch)
Easy, short read. Everybody should read this book - but then again I say that about many books.
Just like common sense isn't common... Well I think the same goes for a good attitude. People with a bad attitude rarely realise they have a bad attitude - would telling those who fall into that category to read this book change their ways? I'm not sure.
Lots of great quotes within this book, so I'm glad I got it on Kindle.
This is such an amazing book. I enjoyed reading it a lot. All the concepts are explained very nicely with examples that are easy to understand. I will recommend this book to everyone.
Good one with clear examination on the impact of attitude on the workplace whether positive or negative. Building good attitude and improving it was tackled in sufficient details. I didn’t like the cohesion of ideas structuring of topics.
You have done an MBA from a prestigious university; yet you are stuck in your career. Or, you have all the skills to perform your job to the best you abilities; but yet you are not getting that much-sought-after promotion.
What is hindering you and your progress? The answer, according to the author Eduardo Clemente, is that you lack good/positive 'attitude'. Attitude is what separates pros from amateurs.
The book goes further than this and talk about the need for Emotional Quotient, adaptability, importance of resilience in tough times, maintaing a positive outlook and more.
Author has a rich amount of experience in corporate world and throughout the book he draws lessons from those experiences and guides the reader. He talks about his experience of working Angola; the challenges he faced there and how he overcame those challenges.
What I really liked was author's storytelling. He narrates his experience; gives you important takeaways from those; and then smoothly outlines how you can apply those points in your professional life.
The advice is realistic and actionable.
For example, in a chapter titled Positivity, the author tells why positively is so important but he cautions readers and says "positivity must be realistic". It is something you achieve by taking small steps at a time; and taking action is critical as against dreaming about big goals and doing nothing.
Time and again the author has also referenced various studies to substantiate the point that he is making.
Overall, it's a book that will be enjoyed by readers of all kind.
Short and great read with some practical examples on how you can add value to your work. I always believed solving problems help you to move up the ladder. This book changed my perspective about that belief and it’s not only about solving problems but how we are adding value!
This is a nice supplement to any emotional intelligence books you may have read in the past. It's a short read so if you're crunched on time, you'll likely still take something away from this work.
Be empathetic, positive , and open-minded; good rules for the workplace and life in general.
It's an easy and interesting read and is great for a reminder of some basics if you're feeling like you're in a rut. It's also a great read for a new graduate.
☕It’s human nature to react better to people you relate to, feel comfortable with, or respect. . . This is such a short, crisp and an insightful read that got me from the very first page. This is one of those life changing books that tells us how attitude is everything and how can change one's life. The book is divided into 10 parta or chapters and each chapter deals with a different area of our lives. It's a very well researched and a very well written book which is for every age group and for everyone who struggles with life at some point. The best thing about reading it is, it's not monotonous, it's filled with amazing examples which every reader can understand and relate easily. . . The author makes it very personal by talking about his own experiences and life where I felt he was actually having a one on one conversation with me, it's that well written. As you reach, the end of the book you will get your answers and I think you will have a new approach towards life. It's a book that has very good content so make sure you read it slow and mark what what you like so you can come back again and again to it whenever you feel like. . . It's precise and well presented. I will definitely recommend it. . Rating: 4.5⭐️
How does one bring up a drastic change in the outer self as well as the inner self? Well, things aren't actually easily planned or executed when it's about how a person needs to change the way he is. One can quite easily find out the motive behind the narration made in this book right away with the title which speaks of attitude being a superpower of its own. To build up a person in a flawless manner, one needs to know how every action matters and how every needs to be performed. Author has performed a task way too impressive as the very narration carries a pathway to energise the appearance and mindset of one into a good way. I could pretty well connect with a few points jotted as I've been a completely different person in the past in terms of anger compared to what I am in the present days of life now. The narration is made in simple terms with length of the book found to be like a regular read. One can quite easily pick it up and find the content acceptable.
Life is a series of never - ending problems that challenge us but if the challenges are constant, there is one more thing that is constant as well, it is your superpower- your attitude.
Attitude is your superpower written by Eduardo Clemente is your key to unlock your superpower. This is a self help book that can help you in getting success in your life and in your career. This book defines attitude and tells you how to use this superpower by improving it.
Written in a simple language and a lucid and engaging writing style, this self help book is what you need in your life. The book is authentic as the author has shared his life experiences in it and what he learned from them. I also liked the references of many books that the author has mentioned in different chapters.
There are many practical exercises and tips in this book for e.g. taking feedback and paying attention to the gaps (confused about what I am talking about, get the book to find out!). I liked this book and in my opinion, it is a must read for all.
A person's mind is the strongest aspect a person can have. It is extremely powerful in various ways. It has the ability to come with things that can only seem impossible. Most of our problems if you might have noticed roots back to our minds. By now everybody is aware of the power of our mind and how having a right attitude towards life makes a huge difference. In any sphere of life a unbreakable attitude can give you a hand in bringing a successful life. This is the main theme for our book today. Everybody gets stuck somewhere in their lives. And the more you dwell on being in the same place the more lost you feel. I am sure this feeling of being stuck and lost is familiar to all of us. Its even more painful from a career standpoint. Everybody wants to have a successful career and excel greatly in the ones they like. How do you achieve that? Of course Hardwork is a given but to exceed in a professional level you need to have connections and win favours at workplace.Author Eduardo with the help of his past experiences and amazing advices and tips brings a light to the importance of attitude. These tips will help build an individual great confidence, conjure positivity and growth mindset, help with emotional intelligence and many more mental prospects. This book was a boost of energy for me. I could relate to a lot of things that the author wrote. Its nothing fancy but its straightforward and assuring. I must say that this would make an great addition to your self help reading list. I really recommend for a good eye opening experience.
Attitude is your superpower is an amazing self help book. It is one of those self help books which are not only easy to read but also easy to apply. Many books have been written on attitude and a classic example is Attitude is Everything but this book is even more comprehensive and practical than that classic.
The book held my attention thoroughly and there are many lessons one can take away from it. The thing I liked the most and learned from this book is that attitude is not a one way road, it is a two way thing, it is not only how you perceive yourself but also how other people see you, thus in order to improve your attitude and make it a superpower, you need to work on many things some of which are related to how you interact with others and how they see you.
I liked this book and as I was thoroughly invested into it, I finished reading it in one sitting. This book is a must read for all, it is easy to read and yet very effective.
Attitude is Your Superpower is a solid 3-star read, ideal for entry-level to mid-level managers looking for practical insights into personal and professional growth. The book emphasizes foundational concepts like building confidence as a cornerstone of success, the importance of under-promising and over-delivering to exceed expectations, and the idea that your worth is not solely tied to your job title or achievements. While the lessons are straightforward and supported by relatable examples, the content may feel simplistic for seasoned professionals. Its strength lies in its accessibility and practicality, making it a great starting point for those beginning their leadership journey. However, it lacks the depth to leave a lasting impression on more experienced readers.
I generally don't pick self help books because I find them very repetitive but the title of this book really intrigued me and I am glad that I picked it up and read it. Attitude is your superpower is one of those books which hit the point home.
This book is all about attitude, the author defines it and then tells how you can improve it and use it as your superpower to become successful. The language used in this book is simple and points made are logical. The tips and exercises suggested in the book are also easy to apply and practical. It is a nice self help book and I really liked reading it.

Not to say but corporate is that one race where every colleague of yours is running to get the top position.
Now, if you are a newbie or have no experience about how to behave in the corporate world then you might be that rabbit who can run fast but can't win.

You are what you think. Certainly this is one of my best read in this genre. The book brings out a sense of positivity and awareness inside you. Author has ensured that it does not sound like a story and hence provided thorough explanation for his claims. The book explains the power of positivity.
The book reiterates that we can achieve almost everything through correct attitude. But it is really difficult to have such an attitude. It takes determination and practice. The book aggressively discusses how we can control the way we perceive something through our attitude. It is one of the best self help book you will find.
The author focuses deeply on topics like Emotional Quotient, Building Confidence, Able to perceive right, right attitude. All the information is supported by examples that make it even more interesting.
Overall it is a highly informative book, and anyone who wishes to bring about a positive change in his/her life should read this book. I highly recommend reading this amazing book.
