This is the second book in the series and picks up where the first one left off. Things are still going bad for Cathwulf. Her mate still blames her and new enemies have emerged. Some new characters and interesting plot twits.

This is a great addition to this series. We carry on from where we left off and once again I found myself lost in this world. Fast paced and action packed this really had me on the edge of my seat especially with its twists and turns and surprises and I am loving the characters and their interactions. I am looking forward to seeing how the author brings this altogether in book three!

Hellfire Heist is the second book in Bella Klaus’s enemies to lovers series. Cathwulf has been exposed as the enchantment that disguised her as Katie has been stripped away. Now, she and Griff are stuck in Hell with demons looking for them. Things can’t possibly get any worse, right? Well, they always can. Hades is beyond ticked that Cathwulf has been keeping secrets about the activities of the Hellfire pack, but now he knows that she has betrayed him. Now, she has to get back to the living world and try to stay ahead of his clutches. But things are only getting more compounded with her true identity exposed to her mate, Griff. Add in that the Hellfire pack has been captured?! Now, Cathwulf has to work out her past/issues with Griff, avoid Hades at all costs, and figure out a way to rescue the captured pack mates.
Hellfire Heist is a thrilling edge-of-your-seat addition to Bella Klaus’s latest series. Cathwulf is struggling with not just her feelings towards her mate, but her wolf’s feelings as well. Well, Beki only sees the good in Griff’s wolf, Cathwulf has to live with the deceit and lies that she was fed by a man who took everything from her. It’s pretty obvious that these two have a lot of ironing out their issues and getting the real truth out there. The sparks of love appear here and there between the two, but then the reminders of what destroyed them are brought back to the forefront.
There is a lot of back and forth between these characters, but I have to say, for me, Griff’s is more in the wrong. Yes, Cathwulf acted rather impulsively, but if he had simply tried being honest things would have at least played out differently. His attitude towards her really irks me, because he takes forever to take responsibility for what he did. I will admit I probably glared at Fenrir a few times too as he seems to be doing the “bro code” with Griff when he chose to leave Cathwulf behind (in the initial leaving of Hell) for what she did.
This book is packed full of drama, and there are some steamy moments, but nothing major in comparison to the previous series by this point. I’m loving how the author is really emphasizing the “enemies to lovers” aspect of this series. I appreciate that the characters are being made to work out their issues and not just jump all over each other in the name of lust. The ending though!! Authors gotta stop leaving me with these crazy cliffhangers! LOL!
I loved this book and am giving it 5 out of 5 stars. If you enjoyed the first book in this series and are eager to continue, then I encourage you to grab this book and dive in!

Hellfire Heist book 2 in this series and it kicks off right where the 1st one left off. Cathwulf and Griff have been given a task from Fenrir which is made much harder because of the animosity and unresolved hurt suffered by both of them. Cathwulf certainly brought on the feels in both books i thought. I found my heart went out to her even though she did things and was punished for them i couldnt help but feel that she didnt have a lot of people on her side. Which was sad. I did really love Cathwulf and Griff. The way their story developed in this book was completely engaging and the pace as well as the plot drew me into it big time. This series is progressing nicely and im enjoying reading it

Shifters, Gods, deceit and betrayal make for an absolute fabulous read! Bella Klaus has once again outdone herself with the second book in her Demon Wolf Hunter series, Hellfire Heist. This story picks up right where we were left hanging in Hellfire Pack, with betrayals revealed, so if you haven’t read that one yet—do so first! The emotions that Bella masterfully weaves for her charters is so heart wrenching it’s like being on an emotional rollercoaster—but one you don’t want to ever get off of because it’s just THAT good!

Book 2 finds the relationship between Cathwulf and Griff just as tremulous and complicated—if not even more so when secrets are revealed and trusts are once again broken. The journey these characters go on is absolutely amazing and I love how much they are growing and evolving, working together for a common cause—to save the missing pack and retrieve the lost souls from the depths of Hell and the clutches of Hades. But can these two totally forgive and forget or are they forever doomed to relive a life of pain and betrayal? The road to redemption isn’t always an easy one, but when outside forces step in, and other Gods show interest, things aren’t as lost as they seem.

Overall, this story will take you on an action packed journey filled with twists and turns, betrayal, hidden secrets and of course love redemption. If you love steamy, enemies to lovers, rejected mate paranormal romances with hints of Gods and Goddesses amongst regular shifters then this book is for you! And that ending?!? Can’t wait for book 3!

Well, the truth was bound to come out eventually for Cathwulf aka Katie, I just don't think she expected it to happen whilst she was in the middle of a heist with Griff. Book two of this series starts off pretty much after the last page of book one. They may be mates but Griff and Cathwulf are still angry with each other, and typically they are both pretty stubborn about what they did to each other.

But for now, they have to try and get over their issues with each other but they have a rescue mission they need to lead and letting their feelings get in the way could end up with them in a dangerous situation. Not that they aren't going to end up in dangerous situations anyway, I mean Hades is now after both of them.

One thing I love about these series about the author, Bella Klaus is that they are all set in the same world and the stories do have interconnecting moments throughout. You get to see different sides of characters you may already know and have fallen in love with in the other books which definitely builds on those already exciting characters.

Can't wait to read the next one and see what happens to characters new, and old!

If the situation between Griff and Cathwulf was precarious before, now it is downright shattered. With her identity revealed, old "grudges" grow into passionate hatred, and only Fenrir's decision to send both mates on a rescue mission makes them suffer each other's presence for longer. And while the human parts are clashing, their animals don't care and enjoys their mate's presence. Cathwulf and Griff have to ally in order to survive and have a chance to trick Hades and not fail their rescue mission..
A fast-read full of twists following the difficult journey of two soul-bonded mates whose past is tainted by betrayal, lies, and murder. It is generally difficult to forgive such actions, which makes the relationship between the mates explosive, full of contradicting emotions, and leads to some very hot scenes. The crazy cliffhanger at the end is a definite hookup for the next book, and I am really curious how can anyone escape such situation.

I wish I could have bent time so that I was able to read this book faster. As it was, I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough to get the answers I needed. I was pulled into the story, and it would not let me go. This book gave me some serious Matrix-like flashbacks. Particularly as no one and nothing is quite who or what it seems, and deception is around every corner. I loved seeing the evolution of Cathwulf’s relationships with all the ‘people’ around her. I don’t want to say too much more about that because I’m worried I’ll be treading too close to spoiler territory. The ending wasn’t completely unexpected, but it still came at me before I was ready for it. And now I’ll be counting down the moments until I can get my hands on the next book.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Great second installment in the series! The book starts where book 1 left off (always a plus in my opinion), so the back and forth of hatred and intolerance between Cathwulf and Griff is front and center. Cathwulf doesn't seem to be able to catch a break with Griff, until small steps towards her redemption start to happen (surprisingly with the help of Fenrir), but even then, the struggle continues. I am enjoying all the interactions between our 2 main characters with all the other characters (including various gods) as they continue with their adventure to retrieve the soul crystals of past wolves. Will Cathwulf be able to achieve her goal of never going back to the torture pits of hell? Only time, and this developing story, will tell!

I am constantly amazed at this author’s abilities to weave her series together, and in this one I’m amazed at how she’s got me to not like Hades again. LOL! Anyway, poor Cathwulf is almost back where she started, and the only difference is that Griff knows she’s back. She needs to go back to hell to rescue the crystals, and the wild ride with Egyptian, Norse, and all manner of gods is a fun, action-filled good time. I was not a fan of the back-and-forth Cathwulf and Griff are going through, but that is just a personal preference. This is a well-written addition to the series, and after that ending, I feel so very much for poor Cathwulf. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Continued to leave me hanging

Cathwulf, an alpha female wolf shifter, is trapped in Hell with Griff, a wolf shifter and her mate, who now knows that she is the one she-wolf he despises. As the story progresses a rescue goes awry, the consequences of their actions catch up to them, and trying to redeem themselves could cost more than they are willing to pay. Bella Klaus continued to leave me hanging in Hellfire Heist. While some of their issues are forced to come to light, they still seem to have a long road ahead of them to even reach a non-hateful present, let alone reach a happy ending.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

I love all the mythology in this series I this it's actually one of my all time favorites because of that! I also love the FMC. And that plot is on fire!!!!
This seriously is going to throw me into a book hangover because getting over this will not be easy! Well done with that cliffy because I'm crying.

Things are getting very interesting when gods collide! 😉

All kinds of crazy happens when you combine gods of old from Greek, Norse *and* Egyptian mythology with two ex-lovers/mates still working through their issues. There's all kinds of adventure, action, intrigue, betrayal, hinjinx, a possible reveal here and there... and so much more within these pages. This isn't a standalone read however, so you should read book one to know what's going on. I had such fun reading this as it leads the reader on an amazing experience. After that cliffhanger I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next in this action packed series.

Well this was certainly action packed .... just the was I like it. Cathwulf is now on the run from Hades having switched sides and her relationship with Griff is all over the place! I loved every minute of this, I love how the characters from previous books make appearances as Bella Klaus has made her own world where the different stories and characters intertwine while still remaining seperate stories. It really is an exciting story and with that cliff hanger of an ending, I really don't know how Cathwulf is going to get out of that and I am really looking forward to finding out where she goes from here.

Bella continues to take us on a wild ride with this adventure filled addition to the series. Non stop actions, drama and suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. With twists and turns, this story is anything but predictable! We see some familiar names as well ! These characters are amazing, solid and detailed, and while it took me a bit, Our female lead started to grow on me! This book it quite the adventure and a great continuation to this series. I love how the previous stories and this one are in the same world, from different perspectives! This was a well paced and smooth flowing read. Bella is extremely talented at weaving intricate stories and this was a treat to read!

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Cathwulf is one awesome alpha female wolf shifter but things are definitely not easy for her. She has led a rough life and being stuck with a mate that hates her like Griff does just makes things that much worse. We pick right back up where the last book left off and the story just flows from there with plenty of ups and downs. This couple has a very long road ahead of them as very little progress was made by this point. Makes for quite the fun read that keeps you guessing about each new twist. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

This book picks up right where book one takes off when your heart broke as Griff figures out that she is really his mate that killed him. It is filled with so much witty banter and Griff and Cathwolf are forced to continue working together despite their love hate relationship. I cringed for Cathwolf every time Griff got in a dig that hits her right in the feels. Then just as it seems they are finding a good spot things take a dangerous turn and we are left on yet another cliffhanger. Gahhh!

Cathwulf and Griff go back and forth with their like and hatred of one another throughout this story, but try to put it aside to deal with a bigger problem - getting the soul crystals back from Hades - a huge task that proves to be difficult.

I loved that Fenrir and Lydia, as well as others from this author's different series' were in this one. I enjoyed all of these series' originally, so it was fun to see the characters all again in depth. I am intrigued after the ending, and really interested in seeing how these two will overcome their many issues.

I actually liked this book better than the first one, as it got into the nitty-gritty of the contemptuous relationship between Griff and Cathewulf. They are tasked by Fenrir to get the souls of the Hellfire pack out of hell together, which is next to impossible, especially when they're constantly fighting. But they take on the task, and meet some incredibly interesting characters along the way - which is one of the reasons I think this book was better. Bella Klaus' take on the traditional folklore is really interesting.

I am so addicted to this story. Ms. Klaus has written another enthralling addition to the series. The intense relationship of love/hate between Griff and Cathwulf is ever changing. Add in some gods from Greek, Norse and Egyptian mythology and anything can happen. So much action and danger. The tension between the two only sky rockets. I’m on my seat to see what will happen in the next book. Love this so much.

This was a fantastic read!! Things get very interesting when gods collide. I have to say that some unexpected twists and turn occurred in the story. I loved seeing Cathwulf and Griff emotional journey. Maturity and redemption were captivating. I have to warn you it does end on another cliffhanger still I'm super excited to see what going to happen next. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are completely my own.

Wow, so much growth with the story and characters. From start to finish, it was so unexpected but action packed and riveting. Cath is revealed at the pivotal moment at the end of the last book and this one picks up at that exact moment and runs with it. I love the commentary between Cath and her wolf as well as the connection with Glinda. I can't wait to read the final book and see how they solve this new issue.

Love the heroine and griff is still not good enough for her

I love the heroine, but how much more torment can she take….she needs help and not a mate who never truly helps her. Griff failed in all ways as a mate and protector and doesn’t deserve her.

Yet she is the one that keeps getting threatened and punished. She is a truly strong person and I hope her family and others realize it.

Look forward to the conclusion, but I still don’t think griff is good for her.

Brilliant read. Loving this series.
Cathwulf has been scorned, but learning that her past may have had some holes is hard to bare. But she is not fully at Fault and Griff her mate needs to know that, Both parties have things to atone for and forgiveness to be sought but while both remain in hell this becomes difficult as priorities of getting out alive become more.
Brilliant read. Cant wait for the next.

Hellfire Heist by Bella Klaus is the second book in the Demon Wolf Hunter series And just wow. I love when a story incorporates mythology into the plot, but this writer has made it an art form, twisting and turning the myths into another wild tale. This second book, picks up right from the first and continues to develop the story and characters while throwing us off balance with an amazing story. I couldn't put this book down and I'm not sure I'll like waiting for the next one.

Everything goes from bad to worse for Cathwulf. She is in a constant state of adrenaline rush and turmoil, trying to save herself and maybe rekindle this damaged relationship with her mate. The book picks up right where the last one stops. The depth of the characters is so intriguing that you can't resist getting involved in their story. Bella does a great job of building this world and pulling the reader in. You will not be disappointed!

This is the second book in this series and picks up where book one left off. Griff and Cathwulf continue to work together and their love/hate relationship is truly complicated to say the least. Of course, Cathwulf has to worry about Hades, because he’s on her trail. This book is filled with plot twists, action, twists and turns, and I was kept on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. The cliffhanger ending left me wanting more and I can’t wait for the next book!

Wow...I mean wow! Bella Klaus has become one of my favourite authors...she really knows how to grab the reader by the throat and have them completely engrossed in her stories. This book is intense and emotional and had me flicking through the pages. It picks up right where book one finished and it just gets better and better as the story goes on. I cannot wait to read what happens next and how the talented Bella Klause is going to finish this series.

Bella Klaus has done it again. I devoured this book while Adele's song "Easy on Me" played on repeat in the background. It's the perfect song to describe this part of Griff and Cathwulf's emotional journey. The maturity and redemption were captivating to read and the action was on point! Excited to read the last book after this cliffhanger!

I could not put this one down! I have yet to find a book by Bella than I don't love, but I've found Cathwulf to be a really relatable FMC. The sparks are still flying between Cathwulf and Griff and the whole 'will they, won't they?' really adds to the story, which in itself is interesting. I can't wait for the next instalment to come out.
