3. Courage and Conviction | 109,171 words | Motherofdogs18 | 07.02-15.02.2026 | 3/5 stars : “Draco Malfoy has spent more than a decade keeping his head down and out of trouble. But when he gets wind of movement among the remaining Death Eaters, he finds that the Malfoy name closes more doors to him than it opens, making it difficult to know who to turn to. Eventually, he reaches out to the woman he tormented during their childhood and finds, to his surprise, that she seems willing to overlook the past and help him.” Sweet and nice plot. Wholesome. I liked Draco but as in most books, I loved Theo. I listened to the spotify version by the wizard wheezes.

4. 30 Candles | 22,457 words | 05.03-09.03.2026 | 3/5 stars: “Hermione's turning 30, but it just so happens a big wedding is overshadowing her birthday.
Throw in a bunch of family & in-laws coming into town, a school alumni gathering, with some mutual [unknown] pining, and I give you my adaptation of one of my favorite 80s movies. This fic is an adaption of the movie Sixteen Candles.”
short and sweet, mutual pining, fluff only, insta love. I listened to the spotify version by the wizard wheezes.

5. Not with a bang | 191,303 words | Megalle | 13.03 - 06.07.2026 | 3/5 stars: “Draco Malfoy has just 9 months left on a 7 year house arrest sentence when the Ministry announces a new Marriage and Repopulation Act. Draco assumes it will not affect him as he is still under house arrest. He assumes wrongly. No matter, the Ministry, in their infinite wisdom, has paired him with one Hermione Granger. The witch has never met an injustice she hasn't fought against and so Draco assumes she'll fight this one to the death before tying herself to him. Again, he assumes wrongly. So now he has a wife who more resembles a ghost haunting his manor than the girl he once knew, a meddling elf, a rapidly approaching release date and no idea what life outside the Manor walls looks like or for the first time in his life, someone trying to tell him what to do with it.”
What if Hermione has enough of helping everyone and fighting for others? What if she is tired of it all and has to live with the consequences of her previous actions. I liked the story premise and the slightly depressing mood of the story. I listened to the wizard wheezes on spotify, always a pleasure.

6. The cure | 22,776 words | Alwaysbigspoon | 05.10-06.10.2026 | 3/5 stars: “After a scientific breakthrough, Hermione only has a few weeks to get pregnant to prove she’s cured a form of infertility. With her life surrounding her work at St. Mungos, her only shot was if a willing man was dropped on her doorstep. Luckily, Azkaban delivers.

Loved the character dynamics, and the smut was GOOD. Never boring, but still realistic. A healthy amount of Ron bashing, as intended.

Lost me a bit towards the end with all the fuzzy love shit, but definitely a reread. For the smut, obviously.
