Past experiences. Broken hearts. Present tragedy. Those are the things Kierra Ynares from UST Architecture and Shan Lopez from DLSU Psychology have in common. No matter how wretched their similarities are, they still found ways to escape... to look forward to tomorrow, and keep everything that happened yesterday behind.
Not that I expected a lot from this but what the fuck was that?
The last installment of the University Series — Our Yesterday's Escape is a complete disappointment. Readers anticipated them for two years! Kierra's character is the most controversial since TRIE because of what happened to her but why didn't her story make sense at all? It almost felt like OYE isn't necessary to the whole series from the way it started down to the way it ended. It doesn't even have the "university" vibes like the first three installments.
I was rooting for her when she unpublished this on Wattpad due to certain things. Akala ko mabibigyan niya na ng justification yung character ni Kierra because my girl suffered a lot because of Miguel. But holy shit, miss girl just had to make the whole story a shitshow by throwing trauma after trauma and then giving them characters unnecessary deaths just to be finally "at peace" after everything they went through. I mean after everything Gwy put them through. LOL.
It seems like she used negative relationships and trauma as cheap tricks to increase readers' sympathy for the characters. I wish she researched a lot about it so it didn't come off as cold cliche or melodramatic.
Gwy really sucks when it comes to pacing. Sa isang chapter, maraming scenes + settings which is most of the time unnecessary sa pag progress ng story. You don't know how much I craved for at least one chapter that involves no Hiro or Luna or any character. Talking about their past, sharing thoughts and assurance, planning their future or even the two of them flirting lang just to see the depth of their relationship. I craved that because I had a hard time grasping their love for each other kasi nga masyadong mabilis yung pacing ng story.
The ending, I have no words. Sobrang shitty at natatawa na lang ako kasi naging fantasy bigla. I know a lot of characters are designed to die and that's okay IF IT'S WRITTEN WELL. But killing off a character without ending their arc properly ain't it. It's a cheap way to keep your readers invested. Shan's death is unnecessary, unjustified, and pointless to the point that the reason behind it made him look stupid and dumb. It may be powerful for some but it made the book weaker overall. It felt like an easy way out and a convenient way to not have to write a real ending. DEATH IS A MECHANIC, NOT AN ENDING!!!!! Writing a novel starting with the idea that you will end it with killing the characters at the end of the novel without giving the readers the conclusion of the story is basically "cheating" your readers into reading a story just to take the mcs away at the last moment for shock value and maybe to make yourself feel cool as a writer. LOOOOL.
I'm wrapping this up with a reminder that there is nothing worse than an unconvincing plot twist. A predictable plot isn't that bad but doing something solely to surprise the readers is.
Plot twists for the sake of plot twists are dumb.
Extra points:
• Overused ellipsis
I've been enduring this one since GST but ma'am, WHAT'S WITH THE SUDDEN OBSESSION WITH ELLIPSIS???? For dramatic effect ba? Parang every paragraph may ellipsis. It's giving 2015 Wattpad writing style. Cringey.
• Prose
Gwy should practice more on creating sensible and original proses. Good imagery drives emotions as well as structure stretches creativity. I think this is what her stories lack kaya they are bland.
For a series ender, OYE is such a disappointment. Before we continue,
TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE, DEATH, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. I’M GOING TO SPOIL THE ENTIRE BOOK SO KUNG DI MO PA NABABASA AND YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS, WAG MO NA BASAHIN TO.
This OPINION is from a reader who didn’t really expect much but was greatly disappointed.
OUR YESTERDAY'S ESCAPE WAS POORLY EXECUTED AND A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. There were a lot of loopholes, the transition was terrible, there were a lot of time skips as though the author just wanted to finish the story for the sake of finishing it. With that kind of build up? The characters deserve more than a shitty ending.
TO SUMMARIZE THIS BOOK, IT'S BASICALLY JUST SHAN PLANNING HIS DEATH.
During the middle parts, as usual, it was either it was being rushed or it was going too slow. I found a number of unnecessary lines and details na nagpatagal ng story. I didn’t find much difference with the writing, other than being dual pov and dual timeline.
I’m just going to talk about those last few chapters. THAT WAS A ROLLER COASTER. I screamed, I cried (literally sobbing), I squealed, I almost threw my phone across the room. I love how it’s not mainly focused on their love story but also on the journey of the MC. The ending makes it worth it. So just hold on there
Also! This story is the end of the whole University Series. I just wished that the Univ gang could’ve been highlighted a bit more in the ending. Nevertheless, the last line? Def worth it.
2.1 stars | Gwy, umaangat ka ba talaga? Oh, bumababa? Like, I thought na masyado ka pang bata para sumulat nito pero, nagawa mo naman. Hindi na nga lang makitaan ng development.
This is the last installment of University Series. The one that most of us have been waiting for. Currently reading it and hopefully... makita ko ang essence ng university just like the first three.
But, the way the author narrate the story? Hindi lang si Shan ang character. Parang sa kanya lang nagr-revolve. We wanted to see how Kierra cope with her trauma, how deep is the reason and bakit hindi maibigay? Because most of the comment on that section literally said na nagi-improve na si Author at transition na agad ang ginagawa niya. Like, wth? That's not the definition of transition, with this one *** lmao you're all funny. What's wrong with you? You should give us more of Kierra's back story, Ms. Author. We don't want a random girl from a coffee shop.
Ongoing pa lang naman kaya I expect better narration and dialogue between the characters.
Don't try so hard on putting your boyfriend's characteristics on Shan's character.
And please, the way you change the name of the main antagonist, from Miguel to Julian real quick is... nah? Just because Miguel, who abused Kierra, has the same name as your boyfriend? Haha. I don't understand it. This isn't the thing. You can do better, don't just write because of hype and fame.
The story is going way TOO FAST.

this is my own opinion. I respect the author dahil nakikibasa lang naman ako ng story niya. But this is what I feel...
it has ended. I don't really like that Shan died. He said na gusto pa niyang mabuhay ng matagal for Kierra, to explore the world together. He's a prosecutor, he knows the dangers of being one. He could've prevented it more... like having a bulletproof car and wearing a bulletproof vest before going to that house. And bakit siya pumunta pa doon? to gather evidence? did he really just sacrifice his life para makulong sila? He should live to be the one ending them personally. And dali ng pagkamatay niya.. As others said, madami talagang loopholes
Shan and Kierra deserve better. Kierra wanted to marry and have a family. Shan wanted it too because of Kierra. They've been through a lot. They deserve a happy life like the other University couple. Shan deserve a happy family of his own.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I hope you do some research especially because Kierra was abused. Nakagulo din yung pagbabago ng names of the characters. Hindi nabibigyan ng justice yung mga scenes. Habang tumatagal lalong dumarami yung loopholes sa plot. I continue reading your stories kahit nalaman ko na lahat yung issuees mo since 2019...?😂 I want to feel the hype of these series too! Super daming portrayers on tiktok that ruined my imagination. Sabi mo before na ayaw mo sa portrayers, tapos last year bigla mong kinontent sa yt mo.🤑
[THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS!] [TRIGGER WARNING: MENTION OF DEATH, SUICIDE, AND OTHER DISTURBING WORDS]
I just finished reading the story and... it feels empty and disappointing honestly.
This is the last installment of her University Series, and I think it's my fault that I had my expectations that this would be well-written—if not better than the other five—since it is the series' closure.
Frankly, I thought Kierra's background and character were well-established sa prior stories. Ito ang reason why I patiently waited for her own story to unfold. There was so much potential for her character (and the whole plot) that I thought she would even surpass how good Elyse was written by Miss Gwy.
Before the story was pulled out from Wattpad, I was kind of worried already and noticed a few loopholes, but I kept my mouth shut since it was not yet done: (1) Shan became the center of the story—I didn't have a lot of issues about this since he is also a main lead, but Kierra's own arc was shoved aside that it felt she was superficially written; (2) characters were inconstant; and (3) there was a misrepresentation of mental health.
But, enough of this since Miss Gwy heard the comments from her readers and took some time to edit/revise the story.
I wouldn't mind waiting for a few months or a year to read OYE again if Kierra and Shan were to be written decently and fairly this time. But, my hopes fell in despair when OYE was republished.
It was perplexing as hell for me, and to my dismay, the story only sunk deeper into the pit of inferiority. The latter part seems to be disengaging from the theme and the flow the first chapters established. The epilogue—oh, heaven forbid!—was dreadful. My toes were curling while I was reading through it.
It only solidified my stance that Shan's death was foolish—all for unnecessary vain. I would've accepted his death if it was necessary like there was really no way out pero hindi eh. My heart breaks for Kierra and Shan, they deserved the life where they are living happily with each other.
"... But we would be lying if we say that we never expected this to happen."
"I kept on telling you before that I was not scared of death... but on the inside, I hoped that I wouldn't have to face it."
"Maybe it is also my fault... for wanting to do everything myself. I always believed that I never needed help, because I could not trust anyone."
Come on. Shan already had sufficient evidence. He just needed to ask help from Kalix to settle this and put the Villaflors behind the bars. The other evidence was already made public. What was different with this one? He didn't have to die. It was obvious!
But what did he do? He confronted the enemy, as if he was an amateur in this field, without protection and planning. He even expected himself to be killed in his duty, but my guy was reckless and went straight to suicide mission although he knew he would leave the people he loved behind. What happened to his intelligence then? That earned him his credentials? As someone who liked him, this was a way of belittling his character as a pinhead without a character development. He could've been written better. It would have been nice to see him mercilessly ended the Villaflors.
As a villain, the Villaflor's desire to silence and stop Shan was lacking. A villain will discover his enemy's weakness and will use it against him. But, it was surprisingly and unexpectedly the opposite with Shan. It seemed as though the Villaflors were stupid enough to not even run a background check to find what they could use against him. Just a thing that I noticed, since Elyse and Kierra were unscathed during this timeline.
I heard Miss Gwy's a mental health advocate. I really appreciate her effort to take the risk and write something as heavy as OYE. The only thing I can say against this is topping trauma over another trauma isn't just it. I hoped the story would show how Kierra went through extensive therapy and healing. As someone who underwent such horrific mental distress, it would have been nice if her healing was shown with much vigor just like how deep and detailed the narration of her trauma.
The ending scenario was also out of place, rushed. The timeline jump was unclear and created confusion. It also opens to unanswered questions. Did Kierra live alone? For such a long time, she didn't try to forget about Shan? I don't know what to feel about killing Shan in the story only to be reconnected with Kierra in another life. It could've been omitted from the story. Honestly, what's the point of his death? There was even a solution to his problem with the Villaflors that did not involve dying. Was it really just for the sake of calling it a heartbreaking, tragic, and unique story? Personally, it wasn't compelling.
This is the last one yet it turned out to be unpleasantly executed.
P. S. I couldn't stand the phrase "See you yesterday" or "See you in yesterday." I don't know if it's just me, but the phrase is a sore in the eyes. It doesn't make much sense, and it feels meh.
P. P. S. Wishing the author a good luck in writing the ostrilogy! Hope the planning, writing, and execution will be far better from this series.
It was painful. This book is very painful and I don't have the urge to re-read it ever again. Same goes with all the books in university series it will never be the same again with Ciandrei's death.
Sayang. Sobrang sayang ni shan. It's true that his death was too realistic. He died because of the Villaflors. His enemy since he was a prosecutor. I actually expected high on shan's character, sobrang ganda ng character nya. But never kong naisip na he'll d word. Ely would still have his brother, His friends would still have him, and most especially Kierra can spend the rest of her life with him. Nandon ang what ifs.
Kierra is my favorite U-girl out of all time and seeing her suffer a lot of times in this book, I had enough. Sya yung pinaka deserving ng magandang ending, sya parin pinagkait. Sayang din 😕 All I can truly say about OYE was sayang. But she was happy indeed at the epilogue. I'm glad that she moved forward. But it still doesn't change the fact that his lover died because he fought and fought for the victims to have the justice including her. Sayang Shakierra, they deserve an alternative ending. T T
OYE is good pero it could've been better.
Maganda yung dialogue tho and the last words were so good. Shan and Kierra is our biggest sayang.

Ciandrei Kyle Lopez, you will always be a part of my tomorrow, my today, and my yesterday. 🤍🌱
- NO. Very disappointing ang story.
Is the plot good? 0/5
- VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Pati yung last line sa epi wtf I believe nasa facebook yun eh ano cinopy paste? What a way to end a series.
You lost the spark in writing, Gwy. Sayang ka. Sayang story mo.
Would I recommend it to others? 0/5
- NOPE I DON'T WANT TO WASTE ANYBODY'S TIME. I ALREADY WASTED MINE.
Are they the standard? 0/5
It could be a flirtyxgrumpy trope pero nag-iba ugali ng characters, wala nang spark yung author. Idk what to say kasi may potential talaga yung story kaso sinayang lang nung author.
I believe inunpublish daw toh para i revise dahil may ibang naguguluhan sa timeline?? You should've just took your time, sinakto mo pa ata na August 8, 8pm para 8 is infinity yan tuloy ang gulo.
•Hindi makatarungan kung pagkamatay ni Shan. First of all, NAPAKA-daming connections ni Shan para mapatumba ang mga Villaflor pero bakit hindi nagamit?
Prosecutor siya and mainit sa mata dahil nga sa case niya sa mga Villaflor so bakit walang bodyguard? Bulletproof car or vest or kahit anong protection? Si Amy diba nung nag work for the Villaflor and nakakatanggap din ng death threats pero may mga bodyguard? Tapos si Shan ineexpect na niya na ganun yung mangyayari pero bakit hindi siya nagprepare for his safety? Ayaw niya mangdamay? But in the end binigay niya kay Kalix yung flash drive ba yon para sa kaso? It doesn't make sense.
He had time for partying with the other u-boys pero he didn't have time para makapag-hire ng bodyguard or bumili ng bulletproof or anything for his safety ngayong alam naman pala niyang his life is at risk?
Parang ang pinapakita kasi sa story is yung mga taong lumalaban for justice is namamatay which I think is not a very good representation. Yes, iba iba tayo ng circumstances when talking about "justice" and yes, no one deserves to die fighting. But it could've been written better. I get the lesson na gustong iparating non but yung flow ng plot doesn't make sense.
Sa kaso ni Shan, he didn't have to die. Marami siyang connections, mayaman siya and ang mga friends/family niya, prosecutor siya, topnotcher siya, matalino dapat siya so kayang kaya niyang patumbahin ang mga Villaflor with the help of Kalix--without dying.
And bakit parang mas masakit pa yung nangyari kay Shan kesa kay Miguel? If anyone deserves to die here si Miguel at mga Villaflor yon.
What's holding you back Gwy from giving MIGUEL the worst karma possible?
Is this justice? And then the one who put him in jail will 'die fighting for justice' ?? Eto ba yung lesson?
OYE was the most anticipated story in u-series and andaming nag-expect dahil din diba inunpublish at inedit yung story.. sorry ha pero disappointed lang sa ending at sa story. Andaming loopholes.
It could've been written better. Sayang. Take a break ka muna sa writing Gwy, bcs honestly its not working anymore.
Rating: 1/5. It could've been written better.

The last book from this series and honestly, this book truly placed me in such a dark place talaga kasi ramdam na ramdam yung struggles ng mga leads eh. This story in a one word summary talaga, PAIN. I have no other words for this book because grabi! Every event that happened in this book was already made known from the previous books vaguely pero looking through the characters’ lens talaga here sa book na toh… It just makes you yearn for a better happy ending for the two of them. It’s a bittersweet ending to end the series.
Ayun na yon. I just hoped for Kierra and Shan’s story to be filled with more of a healing kind of love story pero shuta may ganon nga pero at what cost? AGHHHH!! It’s such a beautiful story pero the ending did not please me talaga just because I would’ve wanted for Kierra and Shan to have the best ending for the series given that their book was the last one to conclude the series. What happened to Shan was not necessary!
jk... this is def the saddest story out of the series. apart from the povs being different, the story itself is different. i wished the ending didn't end that way, i wished they were endgame but at the same time i understand. the ending is not my fave but it is realistic.
the story portrayed both characters well. the way it was written... it gets through you. i felt like i was part of the story bcus i could feel the emotions, the pain they were feeling.
nakakalungkot lang kase they both deserve better!! they deserve to be endgame 🤬🤬 like i said, the ending is def not my fave but it wasn't an ugly, rushed one. it's perfect for the story.
i'm just so glad that they still found each other. this book... a fCKING ROLLER COASTER RIDE.
plss comfort series ko pa naman to. idk how to reread it without getting emotional lmao.
until the next escape mahal ko kayo ciandrei and kierra 😭😭😭😭

The story was traumatizing. For me, this is the best story in the Univ Series. It does not only tackle trauma, abuse, and crime, it also talk a lot about how politicians and their families behave—in such way that they think everyone is below them.
I know for sure someday I'm gonna read this again and, by then, I'll have a much mature pov about the story.
Kierra and Shan's love for each other was indeed beyond life. I can feel both of their struggle—knowing that they are the victims but they have to suffer more than those who victimized them.
I love the narration and the whole story. Despite being dead they sureley had a happy ending. OMG I CAN REMEMBER SHAN'S LETTER TO KIERRA AND THE ETERNITY RINGGGG!!!
See you in yesyerday!

After CITW, I think the writing style changed. The chapters and the overall story was getting longer. The author was saying a lot but nothing at the same time. Ke was such a hopeless romantic tapos papatayin mo yung partner nya!?! Like dapat may isang chapter na puro fluff puro flirting lang and couple stuff. Kulang yung depth ng characters wala pa nga eh tapos papatayin mo agad si Shan. Parang tanga lang omygosh. It was so unnecessarily long and boring.
i love this book for making me ugly cry. ayi’s story is probably the saddest. she suffered a lot, from being abused by miguel to losing her soulmate—shan. this book correlates with reality that some country has the shittiest justice system nor government. many people from a certain country suffered a lot because of dirty government.
anyway, this book book is very painful and i have no words to explain it. ❤️🩹
Shakespeare was right when he wrote this: "These violent delights have violent ends."
I am still trying to process the last five chapters of the story. I am still trying to accept that maybe the plot called for that kind of ending. That maybe HEA and HFN were not in the cards for Shan and Ke. That maybe after years of pining, there were far more important things than love... at least for them. I might be too dumb to appreciate this story, and for that I'm sorry.
Honestly, I would have given this a five-star rating if Kierra and Ciandrei were the end game. The premise looked promising, the characters had complexities. The romantic parts were okay, the conflict and the third act breakup though... 'TANG INA NAMAN, BAKIT BA ANG HILIG NIYO SA THIRD ACT BREAKUP? ANO BA, WALA NA BANG BAGO RIYAN? Imagine, only Kierra—among her circle of friends—didn't end up with the love of her life when she had repeatedly said it from the very first chapter that she wanted to love and fall in love, get married and build a family. SO ANO 'YON, PLOT DEVICE PARA LANG MASABI NA HOPELESS ROMANTIC SI KIERRA? THAT AT THE END OF THE STORY, SHE DOESN'T NEED THAT ROMANTIC LOVE?
I think the consolation between Ke and Shan is that they were fated mates. They shrouded the painful moments of each other and conspired to make joyful ones. They eliminated all the boring tints in favour of fiery colours and kept each other blazing alive. But that was it. They would have been a power couple if things turned out differently. I am still distraught about the ending. Why did it have to be that way? Why did Gwy pull off a Nicholas Sparks or a Jojo Moyes move instead of ending this series with a bang? Tapos naging magical realism towards the end, with the two meeting in the afterlife. I honestly hoped Ke—with her traumatic past—and Shan—with his painful childhood—would get that dream: a family with kids, a cat and a white picket fence. They, of all people, deserve to have that lifetime of happiness after suffering too much. THIS COUPLE HAD VERY TRAGIC BACK STORIES THAT NEEDED TO BE REVERSED.
When I say, 'FUCK THIS STORY', I'm way too irritated to bother trying to be eloquent.
I wept a lot and really enjoyed it, but from chapter 42 until the epilogue, I have never been so irritated and rage-crying-pissed.
BEHH ALAM NA PALA NI SHAN MAY POSSIBILITY NA MADEDS SIYA, DAPAT NAGSUOT SIYA NG BULLETPROOF VEST OR HE SHOULD HAVE USED BULLETPROOF CAR! HE'S RICH NAMAN😭
The fact that this is the final book in a series that has been so personal for me, both emotionally and mentally, makes writing this review one of the hardest reviews I've ever had to do. It also makes writing this review difficult because of how this narrative made me feel while reading it. The suffering, the mayhem, the people, the story. Shan and Kierra not only set new standards for gwys writing and its ability to move an entire community with its tale, but they also made it possible for us to acquire important societal lessons and develop new perspectives simply because of knowing them.
It has a goal, a lesson to be learned, and a magnificently tragic conclusion that brought to light a fact that is difficult for people to understand. It's a challenging book to read since it sheds light on terrible, unexpected, and painfully accurate events. This wasn't made just for the fans; rather, it was designed to make a point, tell a tale, and present a viewpoint of reality that everyone should be aware of. Reading this, you can clearly sense the author's genuine passion for the subject matter, which includes revolution, politics, love, friendship, and morality.
Even though the writing in this one struck me as sloppy, hurried, and lacking. I still think the concepts satisfied every necessity. Knowing how Gwy started this series, I find it to be so diverse and surprising that it focuses more on wisdom than love. However, it does it in a creative manner. When it comes to some themes, this book is outspoken, opinionated, and loud which I adore. Really, the book is more than just a romance.
I absolutely love you so much, Kierra and Shan, who exemplifies the courage it takes to carry on in the face of adversity, to always bounce back, to envision a lovely tomorrow, and to keep the flames of joy and love blazing. Thank you for making this book more than just a romance, thank you for giving us a voice and for always seeking justice, and thank you for providing us with a great escape. I'll carry your love with me. you both exceeded all expectations, helped us appreciate the present and to not take time for granted, always stood on what's right and justice, and helped us see yesterday in a new light.
Y’all. This book completely destroyed me. I read this last October already, but the pain is still the same. My eyes, face, & heart all hurt so much. The difference is it took me longer to read it this time around, because I knew what was coming & I would pause before & after every heavy scene. My eyes are still swollen from crying. I could barely open them this morning, but I just had to push myself to finish reading it. My heart can’t handle it anymore & I need to move on to a happier book! 😭
So, as much as I loved the University Series, I can only give this book a 2.5-3, which is super disappointing, especially because it’s the last book. ☹️ I know this is a Wattpad story that needs a lot of editing & refinement (fingers crossed this will happen before the author gets this published as a physical book) but I still loved the characters, their stories, & the transitions so much. It’s the ending that really left me disappointed.
I know everyone’s probably seen spoilers about the ending already (thanks to TikTok & Wattpad comment section 🙄). I just think it’s unfair that the characters that suffered the most in the entire series are the ones that don’t get a happily ever after… in this lifetime. Ugh! There was so much hope for them, guys! Shan finally learned to open up & love after his tragic past. His death could have totally been prevented or avoided! Kierra also went through such a traumatic experience, but still had high hopes for love, only to lose the love of her life through another tragedy & grow old alone. Yes, they find each other again in the afterlife, but what the heck?! When did this story become a fantasy?! You can’t just change the genre at the end of the book & entire series! Extremely upsetting! 😩
Anyway, I better end this here before I start crying & screaming again. I loved Shan & Kierra so much, but I don’t think I’ll make the mistake of reading this a 3rd time unless the author decides to change the ending & give Shan & Kierra the HEA they truly deserve. 😂✌🏻

Why the hell was this so sad?! Hands down one of the books that got me crying hard. Ang hirap umiiyak pag may katabi ka please😭😭 sobrang sakit lalo na yung letter na ginawa ni Shan para kay Ke :< but I do think there are a lot of flaws! The way it was written was slightly unique compared to the rest of the story in the series. I enjoyed the flashback, but it can be very confusing, and I didn't like the thought of rereading it again in a different pov, like paulit-ulit nalang. Also, I noticed how the author constantly normalized having a fubu or drinking a LOT. I skipped a lot of parts because I thought most of them were unnecessary. I mostly skipped yung tungkol kay Miguel because sawa na ako basahin yung abusive relationship nila😭 I can't believe this was the last story in the University Series, but I'm glad it's all over. Ang na-enjoy ko lang talaga basahin is yung Chasing in the Wild and Golden Scenery of Tomorrow. The rest were all mid. But I still enjoyed this story and would put this as my top 3 favorite in this series. Also, Shan dying was so unnecessary, but who doesn't love a good cry?

If I were to rank all the USeries stories based on how they were narrated, I think OYE would be at rank #1. this story had the most unique way of narration out of all the useries stories— it consisted of two timelines, and the transitions as the point of view changes were executed well for me. the only thing I didn't like about the story was at the latter part, where everything seemed to be slow-paced (specially where Ke and Shan attended the weddings of their friends), and I think, I agree to all the people who are saying that Ke and Shan did not have much time together... so Shan's death kinda felt rushed.
anyw, I cried a lot in this story... like what gwy always does to me whenever I read her stories.
