True to the rock star stereotype, this was not my first stint in rehab, but I was really hoping it would be my last. Something was different this time. I had no computer, no phone, no tablet, and no ability to make music other than a pen and paper. That was all the same as before, but this time, I connected with something that I really wanted to explore. And since I was about to be plugged back in, I was ready to get started on my research.

I bounded down the steps toward the car. The only thing I carried was a tattered book. I couldn’t remember the last time I was full of this kind of energy and optimism. I was looking forward to my life after substance abuse. I had a million ideas for new songs.

And I had a girl to meet.

Good story

Hate cliff hangers. One thing don't make sense. Where was his body guards? They just left him in a hospital by himself? That's just too weird . I wouldn't have got this book if it wasn't finished so I hope it doesn't take so long I forget the story as you don't say when the second book will be out. If they was so worried about him they would have watched over him better. Especially with the weird behavior of the cousin. So far i like the romance with Ivy.

One star taken away for cliff hanger. I will have forgotten the story by time next book comes out. Too bad because this book ended weird. How did doctors discharge in middle of night when he was in iCU for a serious overdose and where were his body guards??

Next book better clear that up because this can't be explained in my opinion.

What could she accomplish by taking Sawyer away or killing him?

I hope I get next book. I read 400 a year so it might skip by me..

Good story

Wish you would have had the sequel right next to this one I had a hard time finding it as it wasn't with this book. Why they are separate I have no clue. I really liked the story. Not much music in it but I liked the direction it was going. Have to read the finale to see how good the rest is. I really like Sawyer its sad his like got so messed up and the wrong support.
