Levi and Tasha are back and they are still fighting for their lives, as well as for the lives of their families and friends, as the hellspawn continue to attack their military bases, the vampires and the lycans are putting aside their differences and the allied forces they have created together finally believe they can work together and a truce has been called between the two races. Meanwhile, the hellspawn are becoming stronger and more daring in their attacks, but the allied forces weaponry is advancing at a much faster pace, albeit everyone is on edge and exhausted, they continue their fight against the swarming darkness.
As the battles continue, Tasha is looking into the history of their races to try and figure out their origins and why she has the magical powers within her, this is all while studies are being made into the different breeds of hellspawn and what makes them so strong, as well as unravel the mysteries as to why they are determined to destroy the two mates. On one of their information gathering excursions something goes awry and nearly destroys the bond between them, however, as they frolic under the light of the full moon and relive an encounter from their past in the most passionate way possible, an ancient power returns and a truth is revealed which may just be the key to their survival.

OH YEAH!! This is the third book and sadly the last in this compelling paranormal forbidden romance series. This book is just as good if not better than the first two which is why I had to force myself to slow down and not try to skim through it because my need to know was that great. This author is a master at creating a paranormal tale that is riveting and enticing and perfectly bewitching. The word smithing is spot on, the narrative is rich, and the characters are formidable. This complex and multi-layered tale is nonstop actioned packed and fast paced and has all the ingredients that make it great. With fated mates, forbidden love with sizzling chemistry that makes a girl sit up and take notice, Vampires and Lycans, Hell spawn and witches, danger, and secrets. This engrossing tale will have you glued to the pages and wanting more. It has everything that all die hard paranormal lovers will enjoy and more.

This right here is pure paranormal perfection!! All the stars!!!! If I could give this book more than five stars, I would. This series has definitely been a highlight of the year for me. Going into this third, and final, instalment in Tasha and Levi’s story was a little bittersweet for me. After everything that has happened, I NEEDED to know how things would play out- but at the same time I was not ready to say goodbye. I was torn between devouring the story at a breakneck speed to find out what happens- with the other part of me wanting to take things slow to savour every last little detail and make it last.
Forbidden Moon is the highly anticipated third and final instalment in The Shadow Chronicles by C.R Robertson. As this story continues on from where the previous book left off, I highly recommend reading the previous two books before starting on this one. Trust me when I say you will definitely want to know all the thrilling details that happened previously, before continuing the adventure.
This is a fast-paced, action-packed, adrenaline fuelled, paranormal romance, with a complex, multi-layered, and addictive storyline. The story is incredible, with vampires, Lycans, demon hellspawn, witches, sizzling chemistry, secrets, discoveries, politics, agendas, drama, danger, paranormal beings, battle scenes, violence, adventure, sizzling encounters, fated mates, and a little myth & legend. Again, Ms. Robertson has SLAYED it!!! Another spellbinding read that captured both my heart and my imagination. I just love her take on Vampire and Lycan lore, she definitely knows how to tell a completely compelling and highly exciting story.
This may be the end of Levi and Tasha’s story- but the author made my day/week/month by revealing that there would be more books coming (SQUEEEEEEEEEE)- ‘spin-offs’ that are set in this ‘world’. Colour me EXCITED!!!!!! Day made!!!! I CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!!!

Completion. I flew through the previous two books and this one was no different. The need to learn more about Tasha and Levi and know what happens next left me little room to breathe as I devoured this final book of their epic story.
Unlike the previous two books this one started with a prologue on how the different species came to exist. As well as how the fear of the Olympians forced them into chaos and war. Quickly it is apparent as to how Tasha and Levi were able to love each other so completely without understanding why but not fighting against it and embracing it. Picking up where the previous book left off the hellspawn have learned when the Lycans are at their weakest and they are in turn at the strongest, during the new moon. Only now the miracle that is Persephone has unseen power that allows her to keep those she loves safe despite her age and size. As the truth of how all species came into existence is brought to light the alliance that was destroyed centuries ago reforms. Tasha and Levi played the central part in proving that their species coexistence is possible and that the lies they were told were to keep them apart. To keep them from becoming more powerful than their creators. Magic is back and reclaiming their place in the war against the hellspawn that wants to burn all whilst claiming the Earth for themselves. Once again, more secrets erode as the truth is revealed.
Can Tasha and Levi find their way back to each other in the darkest nights ahead? More secrets revealed but what does the mean for those affected? What will happen to the alliance when their story is complete? Once more the author finds ways to make the world more complete and more complex as we learn more about how the species were created, and how the war truly began. Seeing the characters morph into so much more than the youth of book one has been one of my favorite parts, as they became not only confident in themselves but in each other. Bittersweet, as much as I love reading Tasha and Levi’s story, I am excited to see how the world expands and changes with Kimber’s story in book four, Forbidden Blood, and how it will continue in the war against the hellspawns.

This series is amazing, I love the books I have read thus far in the series, and this one does not hold back either. I can never get enough of this author and their amazing work, they captivate me every installment of this series, I love these characters so much, I grow along side with them in every book in this series!
The book takes off from where the second book is. I found the action was just as valuable with the suspense as it was in the previous two books. This one really had a strong essence of romance I found, compared to the last two. I found Tasha and Levi had really been through a lot, and those differences or opinions they had were cast in this one, and the portray of the strength of family was very strong in this book which I truly loved! I could not put this one down, it really brought everything to the table!
The story brought on the action and the suspense with the paranormal as the others did. I loved how each book in this series has a certain build up, and keeps the reader truly engaged and wanting more. As I have said, I grew with these beloved characters, and I could never get sick of them, I feel as though they became a part of me, and we are more less close friends. Amazing series, and amazing author! I really loved the bond of Tasha and Levi in this one, truly proved how connected and unbreakable they are!

Book 3 of The Shadow Chronicles Series continues the story of Tasha, a Vampire, and Levi, a Lycan, who become mates despite the war that has raged on between their races for centuries. The Vampires and Lycans have now joined forces as allies to fight an even bigger enemy, the Hellspawn.
Magic has resurfaced and with the help of the witches Tasha is now realizing the full potential of her powers. Tasha and Levi are also slowly unraveling the mysteries of the past of both of their species. As the truth begins to come to light and secrets are revealed an ancient power returns that puts Tasha and Levi’s bond to the test. They are forced to fight the evil that's trying to keep them apart and must determine if their love for each other can overcome all despite the numerous enemies that continuously try to come between them.
I instantly fell in love with the characters of Tasha and Levi in the first two books in the Shadow Chronicles Series and admired the unbreakable bond that they had between them. No matter who or what tried to come between them Tasha and Levi’s love for one another remained steadfast and unwavering. After reading books 1 and 2, I anxiously anticipated the third book because I was eager to see how Tasha and Levi’s story would end. I was not disappointed as book 3 answered many of the questions from the first two books in the series. This book was engaging, sexy, action-packed, and full of danger and excitement. I loved the series and can't wait to read more from this author! I highly recommend both this book and this author!

While I still enjoyed this last installment of the series, I, unfortunately, did not enjoy it as much as the first 2 books. I feel that Tasha’s character had started to become a little too perfect and even less interesting. A lot of her developments and strengths over other characters just didn’t make sense. I, once again found myself wishing that there was more Levi. Even though he has a good amount of chapters, he brings balance. He is a much more mature character. Tasha is exactly the same as her book 1 young adult self. Despite being a mother and older she only grows in abilities but not maturity.
There were also plot points that seemed important but then dropped. I also feel like a lot of what balanced Tasha and Levi was lost with the development of the characters in the end. I get what the author was trying to do but there is a beauty to the characters remaining what they are and being different from one another. They had already incorporated quite a bit of each other’s abilities in themselves, which was great. It felt like it negated the whole idea that they were the only ones who accepted each other for who they were. On the other hand, I was surprised at how I liked the witches. I also absolutely loved seeing more Dominic. I hope that the author gives him a series of his own. It would be awesome to see a romance with Charlotte and have Levi and Tasha come back as supporting characters in that one. All of that being said, I still enjoyed this book a lot.

This is book 3 of The Shadow Chronicles. I proved this paranormal romance as much as the previous ones. These books are full of passion and also lots of action and danger than makes them a gripping read. I love the characters, both Levi and Tasha are strong dominant characters and it's nice to see how equal they are. Even though it is in Levi's dominant wolf nature to protect his love he realises that Tasha is just as capable and strong as he is. They need to learn how to work together if they are going to defeat the Master Hellspawn and stop evil from destroying the world.
We are back with Tasha and Levi. Tasha is a vampire/witch and Levi is a werewolf. Their love and relationship shouldn't work but it does and the power they have between them makes them a force to be reckoned with.
In this book we find them on the hunt for another Elemental witch. It is only with this witch that they can close the gates to hell and stop the hellspawn from attaching. However things aren't that simple. The powers of evil know that Levi and Tasha are weaker apart so they try to get between them. Will the couple split or will they remain strong together?
When an old power is discovered the secrets it holds makes both Tasha and Levi rethink everything they know about their species. This is a story of good against evil and the battle that they go through to get their happy ending.

Once again, the author created an exciting edition to the series. In Forbidden Moon, as the third book, Levi and Tasha are continuing to find a way to rid the world of the hellspawn. However, they have a new addition, their daughter, Persephone. This little girl may be the key to all of the chaos due to her amazing, developing powers. She is also the first mixed breed, so no one knows what will become of her and how far she will be able to span her powers. However, all of them believe between Tasha, Persephone, and the other witches, they are the key to serenity, but we will have to wait to see. In addition, this book provides information that is deemed important for how it all began and how they suspected the problem to be solved, but everything is always changing.
One of the things that makes these books so good is not only the story telling, but the dynamics of the characters. The love story between Levi and Tasha is only something we can all hope to have. In one scene, Tasha’s sister states, “I can’t help but want someone in my life who looks at me as if I’m the last morsel in the base and he’s starving.” She explains the love between Levi and Tasha perfectly - they have passion, commitment, desire, basically what one would call an all consummate love - the best kind. I can’t wait to see where the story is taken and hope for a happy ending for all of them!

This book was great! I just had to open my paranormal mind a bit more than usual for these reads. This one took a different turn that threw me for a loop and I had to shake my head and re read. It's near the end and it wasn’t necessary for the story but added a different element.
Of course it was amazing to see Levi again! I really have loved him since the beginning and he really only gets better as he ages. Tasha frustrated me at times. She knows the danger but yet ridiculously endangers herself over and over. She always promises not to and does anyway. I really think she has nice traits otherwise.
The secondary characters are coming out of the shadows. I really enjoy the attitude/humor that Donovan has been showing. Radar and Spenser have done really well and add some humor. There are newer characters as well that add spark and spunk to the story.
Overall this is the last one for these two. I am sad and will miss them. I will always wonder what happened with Tristan, Kimber and the parents and did Radar ever find anyone. This is a highly entertaining story and I loved the series.

Forbidden Moon is the third book in The Shadow Chronicles it’sa Paranormal Romance that I absolutely loved reading. This picks up where the last book left off and I highly recommend reading the first two books if you haven’t already started them. Reading this in order will give you a better understanding of what is going on and you get to know the characters better. Whew this is a fast paced story packed with action, magic mystery and suspense. This story I couldn’t wait to dive in and once I started there was no putting it down. This author is one of my favorites and this series is on the top of t my re-read list for sure. Get ready to be taken on quite the adventure with Tasha and Levi as they fight a threat they didn’t know existed. They have along the way made allie and some enemies but can they uncover the true species before its to late? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t recommend this author or this series enough. I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.

Forbidden Moon is the third book in The Shadow Chronicles it’sa Paranormal Romance that I absolutely loved reading. This picks up where the last book left off and I highly recommend reading the first two books if you haven’t already started them. Reading this in order will give you a better understanding of what is going on and you get to know the characters better. Whew this is a fast paced story packed with action, magic mystery and suspense. This story I couldn’t wait to dive in and once I started there was no putting it down. This author is one of my favorites and this series is on the top of t my re-read list for sure. Get ready to be taken on quite the adventure with Tasha and Levi as they fight a threat they didn’t know existed. They have along the way made allie and some enemies but can they uncover the true species before its to late? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t recommend this author or this series enough. I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.

First off, I have never before been so excited for a book to come out as I was for this one. If you haven’t read the first two books in this trilogy then do so because it makes everything easier to understand, especially as you follow the characters through their trials and tribulations!
We start out by discovering a new peace accord between the vampires and lycans and while most are on board there are old enemies of Tasha and Levi who don’t believe the laws should apply to them. Not only do Tasha and Levi need to defeat old enemies, they are faced with more questions than answers as they pursue war with the hellspawn. New magic entities appear to help out in the war but which side are they fighting for? How is the magic connected to Tasha and Levi and their love story? They are stronger together but can they withstand the storm of so many trying to pull them apart? This book is full of so many twists and turns I had no chance in trying to predict how it would end. If you love paranormal romance books then this book is perfect for you. The characters are so easy to fall in love with and the scenes are so vividly described it is almost as though you are right there with them!

This whole series has really hit me in the feels and has grabbed my attention to the point where I finished most of these three novels within the course of two weeks. Tasha and Levi’s family are all together, fighting the evil that has descended upon them to protect what’s theirs, and what will continue the legacy of these fated mates, or as I like to think of them, these star-crossed lovers. The world did seem to be against them, with every turn, but as these strong individuals came together, true love conquers all, or at least, that’s what we hope for with this lovely finale of a fantastic series.
I was on the edge of my seat, laughing as the Tasha and Levi bickered, only to make up in very hot scenes, cringing whilst these species fight together against the greater evil, and my heart swelled as this adventure came to a close. I love how the author included many of the supporting characters to give them a chance to shine and prove that it takes a village for so many things to prosper. Forbidden Moon is the third book in the Shadow Chronicles series. It’s definitely worth reading this series from the start to get to know the characters and context for this fast-paced story.
Wow. This is a fantastic, exciting book! It’s got vampires, werewolves, witches and more. It’s got myths and prophecies and so much magic. It’s a real page-turner that I couldn’t put down. And a perfect story to read during the January Wolf Moon.
The narrative mainly switches between Tasha and Levi’s perspective. This is particularly effective where they are both trying to make decisions to protect each other and you can see how there’s just no way either of them will keep the other out of trouble!
There were a few points where I felt like things were moving a bit too quickly for me to keep track of, but I was able to flick back a few pages and reorient myself. Definitely a book that you want to be giving your full attention!

With this last installment of The Shadow Chronicles, I was sad to see it end. I was so invested in this little family of three. This story picks right where book 2 stopped and it continues in a fast paced setting. You learn so much that is still going on and has much to finish and wrap up. Tasha's and Levi's love for each other never stops growing. It gets so much better when Tasha decides that she's not just going to let Levi walk all over her. She pushes him to be the best that he can be and lets him know that no matter what she is his equal in every shape and form. It was a nice little tidbit seeing some of the Greek mythos introduced in the beginning. It gave a good little back story to what lead up these events. This last book does not disappoint it's readers and does leave you wanting more, but sad knowing that there is no more. I cant wait to read other books b this author because I greatly enjoy their storytelling and their beautiful writing. It sucks you in and it's like watching a movie right before your eyes.

This is book 3 in The Shadow Chronicles, and so far, my favorite. It is still following the story of Levi and Tasha, as well as the war with the hellspawns.
Finally, Lycans and Vampires are now allying instead of enemies and have created a new army in order to fight the hellspawns that have emerged from nowhere. Secrets are flying every which way and the truth will be revealed.
The story of Tasha and Levi is coming to an end, and it is bittersweet. They have taken us on a wild ride throughout these 3 books and I loved every second of it. I highly recommend that you read both of the previous books before reading this one. We are also introduced to a few new characters in this book, and I cannot wait for book 4 for the spin off involving Tasha's younger sister!

This is a series that I have enjoyed from the first book. I was excited to pick up the third book which I enjoyed just as much if not more. I highly suggest reading the previous two books in this series to help your enhancement of this series and this author. I enjoy being pulled into the story by the creative characters. I found them to be relatable and engaging. They bring the story to life on each page. This is a paranormal romance where the author used details to make the story realistic. A story that is not only full of paranormal creatures but also some romance and suspense. It is fast paced and was hard to put down. This is a story about old enemies now becoming allies, a love that is threatened to tear each other apart and finding the faith they need to find each other. Great characters and I enjoyed their growth. The growth of the plot throughout the story is great as well. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Definitely found a good book to round out 2021 with! After reading the previous two novels in this series, upon discovering the third one had been released, it was a no-brainer for me to choose this one to be the book that I finished out my reading goal with. The story of Tasha and Levi continues in the third book of the series and the book does not disappoint! The entire series has been a roller coaster of emotions, this one included, and at the end of every chapter I was left wondering what would happen next. The author does an astounding job at keeping the writer on their tiptoes as romance and adventure consume the lives of Tasha and Levi, and as much as I needed answers to the many questions left behind by the second book, I was sad to see their story end. I’m excited to see if the writer continues expanding the universe and gives us the stories of the many other beloved characters in the series.

So I have seen others write that reading this AMAZING book and conclusion to this series has been bittersweet for them and I totally agree, that is a really good way to describe how I was feeling too! I was so excited to continue the story and find out what was going to happen and yes, once again I was completely hooked from page one but at the same time I didn't want my time with these fantastic characters and this amazing world to end. The need to know won out of course and I devoured the book as quickly as possible! If I could give more than 5 little stars I absolutely would!

Wow!! I didn’t think it was possible to love this book more than the first two of the series. This is the third and final book in Levi and Tasha’s story and what an amazing conclusion it is!! This is a series that cannot be read as standalones, it must be read in order and is absolutely a must read!!
This storyline is dark, mysterious, interesting, captivating, action-packed, witty and so entertaining!! Honestly, it’s one of the best paranormal series I have ever read, and I have read many so that’s saying something. I love how I’m able to be so engrossed in this story and how even during a really serious moment a witty remark is thrown in and having me laughing. It really kept me on my toes!!
I would highly recommend this series to others and can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

If you haven't had a chance to read a book by C.R. Robertson, then give yourself a gift of this series and set aside a day to spend with The Shadow Chronicles. The only negative thing I can write is that I have reached the end of the series! Thankfully, there are more books by C. R. Robertson and I can read those. This is the third book in the series and best read in sequence as it follows the story of Levi and Tasha. C. R. Robertson takes a common theme of forbidden love and moves it beyond expectations with skillful talent. In this paranormal installment the plot is quickened and the pages will turn faster as we get answers to questions posed in the first two books. Robertson keeps building the suspense throughout the book and will keep you wanting more even when the book ends. Truly a master of the craft, Robertson deserves a spot on your bookshelf.

A flipping amazing five-star read. This is number three in the Shadow Chronicles series and it’s the final chapter of the chronicles, at least I hope that we do get to hear more from some of the other characters in this series, as they all deserve to be heard. Do read these stories in order as you really do get the best out of it that way, this series has it all, romance, action, gripping story that will show you the complexities and drama of the story. You really do get pulled into the world and feel the panic and love, feel the drama leap of the page. Old enemies become allies as when you face a joint problem even an old enemy can become a friend when you need it. There is so much going on in this story, but the author manages to make it all go so well, you can keep up and keep the action together so you can keep the story going and make it to the end of this sublime series.

Perfect ending to a wonderful trilogy! Forbidden Moon was exactly that and more. Tasha and Levi’s love story comes full circle to start this book, with not only a child, but venturing back to where they first met. Which will be the first time since they spent their initial summer together.
With Castus dead, the only things after Tasha now are the Hellspawn. They are getting stronger and more persistent.
After finding out Tasha is bound to be a sorceress also learns how to utilize and contain her magic better.
I don’t want to give too much away because you really need to read all 3 books. So if you’re stumbling upon this book, start with book 1 in the trilogy. If you already read book 1 & 2, what are you waiting for?!?!

This is not the first book I've read by the author. The Shadow Chronicles is a great series. This is the third book in the series and I couldn't put it down.
Tasha isn't going to let Levi go at this war alone. She isn't the only one who needs him to come home safely. The quote I chose for Tasha is: “We never thought we’d be able to have children. I refuse to leave them behind for their safety. That’s what happened to me and I had no idea what was wrong with me when my powers activated.”
Levi doesn't want Tasha anywhere near the enemies. He's afraid that Tasha isn't the only one the Hellhounds are after. What if their daughter is in harm's way as well? The quote I chose for Levi is: “I think we should take Persephone with us on our trip.”

This was another incredible story of Tasha and Liam. I seriously couldn’t get enough of these twos before. this book did not disappoint just like the other ones. The way these two love each other and are from different races is so amazing. How the author has an amazing take on their way of writing about werewolves and vampires is incredible. I literally can’t not write how amazing this book was. I love how not only did these to fight for each other but also for the people that are in their lives. The book flows from Liam’s side to Tasha’s side of the story amazingly, and how you can get lost in this world of these two. I really hope this isn’t that last time that I read about Liam and Tasha. I highly recommend reading this series, so great.

This is an amazing finale to an incredible paranormal series. This book is amazing! I loved this series so much and the final book in this series exceeded my really high expectations after enjoying the first two books so immensely. There is so much danger, action, and incredible love between Levi and Tasha. They have a bond like nothing else and are just sheer magic together. I love that Levi is just as protective and sweet with Tasha as he is fierce on the battlefield. I was glued to this book from beginning to end and I am so sad that this series has come to an end. But, at the same time I was so happy with how it all was wrapped up in the end. This is a series that I will enjoy reading through from start to finish multiple times because it is just that incredible!

If I could give this book more then two stars, I absolutely would. Once again the author gives us a perfect paranormal romance. Having read the first two installments to this series I knew once this one hit my kindle that I needed to read it instantly. While you could read this one as a standalone trust me when I sat that you will want every detail of this story. Full of paranormal creatures like Lycans, vampires, witches and more this story and just phenomenal. This paranormal romance gives us chemistry, drama, fated mates, and its action packed amongst other things. If your like me you just simply will not be able to put this book down. This whole series is definitely going into my re-read collection on my kindle app.
