SUSPENSEFUL WITH A BIT OF SPICE 🔥
All I can say is WOW! This stort kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time & I couldnt put it down. When Amelia first meets Senator Johnathan Lang, you know he is a little dark, full of secrets but not even I, a Lifetime Movie & true crime junkie, saw any of the twists and turns coming! Amelia & Jonathan Lang's relationship starts out with almost a Fifty Shades of Grey vibe but Jonathan turns out to way more dark and twisted then anyone would have ever thought. If you are into dark, twisted, suspenseful books with a little bit of spiciness then this book is DEFINITELY for you!

I rarely leave reviews for books I don't finish, but I couldn't keep going after skimming from 50-59% mark.
I had high hopes for this book and began to loose interest around the 30% mark when the heroine became increasingly clueless and lacking in personal autonomy. By 59% she was coming across as almost as morally bankrupt as the Corrupt Senator. Add in some serious plot holes, and it wasn't worth continuing.

Wow, just wow. Rachael blew this one out of the water. We were warned it was not her normal but wow! From start to finish I was captivated, I could not put it down. Every time I thought I knew what was going on, boom something happens to change it. Dark and twisty amazingness, yea I'm making up words now!

This is the first time I have read this author and believe me, it will not be the last!! This book kept me on the edge from the very beginning up until the very last page and I did not want to put it down. Dark, twists and turns you won't see coming, drama, mystery and some sexy is the recipe for a great read and this one will not disappoint. I absolutely recommend this book!!

Wow! I loved and hated this book all at the same time. Jonathan seems like the perfect guy. Charming, successful, money and power when he meets Amelia. She sees what he wants her to see at first until she starts to see that its al a façade. I was blown away by this storyline. Fantastic writing! I couldn't put my Kindle down!

I’ve never read this author before, but I definitely will now.
The characters are well written, the “action”, as well as the action is well written, and just when you think you have it figured out, she pulls the rug out from under you.
Not once, not twice, but every single time!
It was a really good read, and I’m only sorry I’m done.

Amelia is trying to follow her dream not knowing her life has been choreographed. In walks a mystery man Johnathan Lang. What starts as a one night stand turns into a dark twisted life with the corrupt senator. He has gone from loving to monster to become senator. There are so many twist and turns but I love, love loved this book.

When Amelia meets Jonathan he seems like the perfect man.Money,power and treats her like a queen.After a short time.of knowing each.other all changes once they marry.This book will keep th on the edge of your seat from page one.Awesome suspenseful read.

Oh wow, what an amazing read. Never judge a book by its cover or its title, this book was definitely not what I expected. Once I started reading I could not put it down. Fantastic read and highly recommended.

I really did love to hate Johnathan. From the beginning he rubbed me the wrong way. She did a good job at his “split” personality. Loving this Nate his character. Definitely kept you in the edge of your seat! Didn’t see some of the twists coming!

This is not my usually read but I thought I would give it a go and I found I quite enjoyed it. It was one twisty ride and I was glued to my kindle. Amelia was not my favorite person but no one deserves Jonathan or his family in their orbit. That is one messed up family.

Loved this book! Such an amazing twist and turn of events with the really dark side of politics and power. I think this book was very creative as I haven’t really read a book like this. It felt like straight out of a law and order episode. I love the female power in this book and the growth of the main character Amelia is substantial. I do think the ending could have been fleshed out a little more. It was like the height of drama and then a time skip…I wish we could’ve seen the characters reactions in the moment. Definitely a great darker book especially if you like crime and suspense.

I truly love a good political romance, so I gave this book a try, new to me author and WOW!! I got lucky this is an exceptional read! Highly recommended.

This author is new to me but this book is amazing! Jonathan is charismatic and one that all girls want so Amelia is no different. Although things do change when Jekyll and Hyde appears with Jonathan. This has tons of suspense. Author does leave it open for another book to be written with Amelia and her new found love.

What a story! This was not what I was expecting and it certainly kept me on the edge, flipping pages to see what would happen next. Johnathan was probably one of the most vile guys I've read, I found myself getting angry for Amelia (and Monica). There are so many things I want to say but I'm not a "spoiler", all I can say is this one was certainly worth reading!

Johnathan was the perfect guy ever since Amelia met him right up till the honeymoon. Amelia and Johnathan didn’t know each other very well but he could tell she would do anything he said until she met Micah. Micah is the twin brother of Monica a woman her husband used to date who no one has ever heard of in at least six months. Amelia thinks everything is ok until Johnathan gets angry with her and nearly choked her which only made her suspicious. This started as sort of a love story but it was anything but.
