Damn so short but I like it regardless. But I really really want to know'what happen after.. I hate open ending ^^

I really didn't want to give this book 3 stars.
The writing was so good, Kassandra really did suck you into this story. I love reading different types of genres, and after rinsing google for ideas on taboo tropes i came along this book.. The plot really did draw me in and from the first chapter i was hooked! She really done a great job in making you feel the tension and emotion of Axel (Jake) and Holly.
The reason for my review - without putting in spoilers - in most plots like this the book leads to a scene before the end where they are caught, tell family or just gives a bit of a reaction towards the taboo subject, but instead the ending was very abrupt. Like WHAT EVEN IS THAT? i would give -5 stars for the ending alone but like i said the plot, characters and the story was good shame the ending was ruined ( for me anyway, i felt cheated)
There was no epilogue, not that that's always a bad thing but in other books they wrap it all up, the authors always give an extra scene where they give answers, add a little extra to their story or even a future glimpse, but in this case you get nothing
No reaction from family because no one is told, such a poor ending. For me it didn't feel like ending that way was something Holly would do as she didn't have a bad relationship with the parents so for that it done her parents dirty, leaving them with no answers. ( again i dont want to spoil it)
My advice if you're going to read this book, don't expect much from the ending, but the story, the writing and the plot was done so well. It's hard to find a specific book for a troupe you're wanting to read, especially when it's taboo, so to find one that ticks a lot of the boxes is a HUGE DEAL (this was that book,) so punch in the gut more when the ending lets you down, i did read this in a few hours because it was so good, i needed to know how their story ends. But with all that being said don't let that put you off as this book. If anyone does read it and sees this review let me know how you got on
