A lovely little bundle of holiday novellas and short stories, which I grabbed to start off my holiday reads because I needed something sweet and happy—Rush has this way of telling light, low-angst romances where the hiccoughs between the romantic pairs are just that: small hiccoughs on their way to finding happiness. When it comes to the holidays, that's what I want. Two people who deserve some happiness finding it with each other after realizing they've made a wee error of judgement.

These stories, because we get four in this book, left me all happy and warm! This small town already has my heart and getting to have three sets of their residents get relationships, it was holiday cheer overload. The baker and the fireman, making up for a missed opportunity. The barista and the new single dad in town, cute kid and feisty cat, and making amends after a misunderstanding. Then we have the big brothers best friend, and a mystery to be solved. Finally a cute and wonderful moment between a couple we know and love, and how there is no such thing as privacy in a small town <3

Apparently I have become accustomed to romance books that are more spicy than this one. The stories were all cheesy, and they were so short that there was very little character development in them. It was a fine read for a December book club meeting, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Fun book

Fun, sweet collection of three short Christmas stories. They each have a sweet relationship. Fun characters and activities they go through to find love.
