About the author

Denise Linn’s personal journey began as a result of a near-death experience at age 17. Her life-changing experiences and remarkable recovery set her on a spiritual quest that led her to explore the healing traditions of many cultures, including those of her own Cherokee ancestors, the Aborigines in the Australian bush, and the Zulus in Bophuthatswana. She trained with a Hawaiian kahuna (shaman), and Reiki Master Hawayo Takata. She was also adopted into a New Zealand Maori tribe. In addition, Denise lived in a Zen Buddhist monastery for more than two years.
Denise is an internationally renowned teacher in the field of self-development. She’s the author of the bestseller Sacred Space and the award-winning Feng Shui for the Soul, and has written 16 books, which are available in 24 languages. I honestly wish I could buy everyone in the world a copy of this book. Don’t be deterred by the concept of reincarnation if it makes you uncomfortable or you feel it clashes with your beliefs. This is a book for EVERYONE ON EARTH. It can only improve your life in countless ways. I am a very spiritual person and a lot of my life is dedicated to spiritual practices, and the pursuit of the art of energy healing & past life regression therapy, so when I found this book it felt like the exact thing I needed at this very moment in regards to what I was experiencing. Denise Linn, a survivor of a random act of violence, experienced a NDE where she traveled to realms beyond and was reminded of the pure, unconditionally loving source that we all come from and that lives within all of us. Denise helps us to lift the veil of illusion- to REMEMBER who we are, which is divine beings who chose to be here right now, interacting together, to learn and achieve soul growth and evolution. She also helps us to remember who we were... do you have unexplainable phobias, fears, affinities, or even lifelong obsessions or fascinations with things you simply can’t explain? You know when these things go deeper than just the surface, we all have the ability to feel this. Why not explore them? This was well written with very interesting concepts, this is the second book on past lives I've read and I found it not only consistent with the previous book I had read but it was more in depth as it looks at the concepts of past lives beyond regression therapy. I haven't tried the meditations yet.

I've enjoyed Linn's book on symbols, so was anxious to read what she had to say about past life regression. While her evidence is empiracal and not very scientific for the support of past lives, it is nonetheless intriguing to read how people report amazing coincidences during the regression groups she has conducted. She offers some beginner's techniques to explore one's past lives. Throughout the book she strongly advises to seek professional assistance if a past life memory comes up that is very traumatic or emotionally charged. She reports working with people who don't believe in reincarnation and reframes it in such a way that presents the information that comes forth as symbols from the subconscious mind, calling them soul dramas. She does not make any statements about proving or disproving reincarnation, instead she offers up her personal life experience as to what opened her up spiritually to the awareness of reincarnation. This book is not meant to convince anyone of reincarnation, but to provide basic tools to use to begin to explore one's own past lives with the purpose and intent to heal one's spirit, to find and clear blockages in one's life, and to assist in one's spiritual evolution.
