This was my first time reading this author as it was recommended by a member in a Facebook group. Definitely understand why this book is banned. This is not for the faint at heart but a quick read.

Where do I even fucking start. I'm a fan of dark romances don't get me wrong. I read the warnings and accepted them but this was not the kink I was expecting. When someone says KINK I think, consent... communication.. maybe dub con as its dark. But not flat out rape, beating and carving up the FMC. This isn't romance just because they gave her aftercare.
The worst thing was Macey having an orgasm during the rape. She's a virgin... this mad me question the gender of the author because no fucking way would a women get off on that. I say from experience... and LASTLY. The girl thinks her friend Jade would love to experience this rape with the 5 men AND JADE WALKS IN AND SAYS "WHO DO YOU THINK CALLED THEM?" If you loved the dare, scream for us, or games we play you will love this! I read this book in about an hr total time and I was immediately engulfed into Mace's world! I need MORE! I love that she was a successful and independent woman! The ending kind of threw me for a loop but Author did not disappoint with this Novella!

This. Book. It is hot, filthy, dark, & twisted. I felt so dirty reading it & kept telling myself I needed to put it down, but I literally couldn’t stop. There are some pretty brutal/taboo scenes with lots of triggers, but if you’re into dark & dirty, you’ll enjoy this one. It’s a quick read & will leave you wanting more!

I do find myself to be overly critical of novellas, but this one wasn't hitting those old nerves. Either there actually was enough character development, or the story didn't require me to know much about the characters' motives.
That being said, this one night of depraved acts was well written. While the HEA was a bit too unbelievable, I'm accepting it for its redeeming qualities that say maybe I don't really need therapy. On to the sequel.

First of all- THAT'S NOT HOW VIRGINITY WORKS, FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME.
Second, speaking as a submissive with a SERIOUS non-con kink...
I would have liked this more if the author spent a little time building up the "love scene" and actually gave this character Macey a reason to be conflicted over what's happening, but she doesn't. Dark erotica is BUILT on the fight between "this is rape" and "but it's so good". The male MCs need to ride a line between giving pleasure and taking it, so there's emotional and physical stakes to the 'romance'. With this, there's very little pleasure in it for her until the end, NONE of this was negotiated ahead of time- and in fact- was SET UP by someone else. Ummmmmmm.... YOU DON'T SET UP NON-CON SCENES FOR YOUR FRIEND, particularly featuring THIS MANY edge kinks. This is irresponsible as HELL work on the author's part. I'm all for dark romance and dubcon, but this is handled SO poorly.

- Trigger Warning: This book is essentially a big red flagged group of men gangraping a woman. I love dark books so I was into this one, but it’s not for the faint-hearted.
- I dislike that Blade was making out with Jade, and Mercy jokes at the end that she’ll send the guys to Jade because she will “love the experience”. I also hate that these men have done this to so many women that its now just a routine. I hate even more that the next book is just a full on orgy when the men and Mercy include Jade. I’m not a huge FF fan so will pass on the next book. 😅
Give me any of the dark and twisted dubcon/rape, but if the mmcs are not EXCLUSIVELY obsessed with the fmc then I’m out

I received this as an ARC for a completely honest review and let me tell you, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Holy crap! As a newbie into darker romances, I honestly can say that I want more! I’m typically not a RH lover but I was all in for this one! One night of pure passion was needed! I also loved her friend Jade! Go ahead and read this when it comes out!!

My rating isn't because it was too crazy. My rating is because, I was bored the whole book. At no point in time did I feel any connection with the main character. While I felt bad about what Macey was going through. It had no congruity. It never gave you time to really feel anger or euphoria.
