Mila made me like an MMF book

Look I’ll be honest, I’m not normally into MMF books
because of my irrational jealousy issues. I know it sounds crazy but I can’t help it. I empathize with the FMC’s and normally want all of the love and attention on her. But this book really knocked the MMF dynamic out of the park. I think for me it was because they love for the FMC by the MMC’s was established and the two of them truly didn’t work without her. I don’t see this as an MM book with an added F, which is usually my issue. Mila hits another home run and I’ll trust her forever 💕

twice the fun
It's rare to find a MMF romance that opens in the later stages of the trouple. So imagine my surprise when we open into an established relationship with a toddler. Don't let that deter you. These three have been long over due for a little adult alone time and are sending the little one over to Aunt Tristen's house, from Good Girl, for a little while. I loved the story and can't wait to get into the rest of the series.

A speedy quick, short read. So short that I felt it was lacking substance. Threesome sex with butter is all well and good but don’t skimp on plot. Butter aplenty deserves plot aplenty.

A beautiful story of a throuple in which three broken souls find each other and a HEA. I love MMF books and this one had likable characters and super hot sex scenes, and one of the most adorable epilogue.

oh I love an MMF story, this was soooo flipping hot! Jack, Lip and Joey were an inferno together!!! Their love for each other knew no bounds, so sweet!!! 🥹

I love Joey, Lip and Jack!! Although Lip and Jack have been best friends since they were kids this was the first time they shared a girl. Joey was drawn to both and made the suggestion that there was no reason they all couldn't be together. The love and devotion these three had to each other was so touching especially when Joey pushes because she knew what her men needed. The story begins with the trio already together and takes off as they start to struggle when Jack's past starts to come between them. My heart broke for Jack but he had so much love from Joey and Lip. From start to finish this was a sweet and sexy read.

Wow ... now that is how you start a book. At first I thought it was a dream, but soon realize this was the real relationship. Hot and steamy, this book will make the reader melt and dream of her own three some, it was dark and passionate. Oh this book was so good, I could not peal my eyes off the pages while I devoured it. I loved ever minute of it.. this book will leave the reader hot, wet and craving for more.

Shortie at 69 ha ha ha pages. This was impressive in that with three main characters you actually get a surprising amount of depth and character arc..I mean keep in mind it’s only 69 pages. Lots of hot sex but a good amount of character stuff mixed in. I would definitely read more by this author based off this.

Oh - Em - Gee!!! This was one of my favorite MMF books ever! Originally I was a little disappointed the story started at them being together for 2 years, I love the meet cutes it's one of the best parts of romance books in my opinion. In the long run I get it, if you want to keep a book only so long you have to make concessions. You have to read this if you enjoy a great MMF. If your new to the world of smut it may be a bit intense for you(lol) but it also has all the feels!!

Philip Sullivan aka Lip and Jackson McGrath aka Jack met as young boys. They were neighbors and grew up with one another. They met Josephine Taggert aka Joey in one of their college classes. She hung out with them. Lip was the charmer and Jack gave her the death stare. One day it all changed aged for the both of them as a frat guy got too touchy with Joey and he wouldn’t stop. Jack stepped in and beat the guy into submission. That night it changed everything and they had been a throuple since. After two years together, society didn’t get the dynamics of their relationship but they did. Joey and Lip were Jack’s family, his safe space his sun. Jack always told Joey he was fucked up because is his past.
Jack was left to his father at four years old by his mother who vanished. He was a child made out of wedlock. His father left him to his step mother who molested him. It only stopped when Lip told his mother and threatened the father’s political career. Then, Jack’s older sister came home and she beat him every day. Broken bones, bruises and black eyes. Lip’s family took him in the last two years of high school when he emancipated himself from his father. Lip’s parents legally adopted him when he turned eighteen.
One night after spending time with Joey and Lip, Jack was in a self-loathing destructive state. He went to a bar and was drinking and a guy picked a fight with him. He walked home and Joey was concerned. She patched him up and he finally told her about his childhood. He felt like she wasn’t going to love him anymore. He fled. He didn’t come home for over a week. Lip and their friend Tristan found Lip in the hospital.
Joey and Lip went to the hospital. Lip was in a coma for a few days but he was not in danger any longer. He had a bit of a road to recovery ahead of him but he made both of them a promise to stop running and see a therapist.
After three months and a clean bill of health, Jack was ready to be with his partners. However, Joey had a surprise for them. She was pregnant. They had a little girl named Lori after Lip’s mother. A few years later, they had another baby, a boy named Cain. These three were in love with one another and the relationship didn’t work without the others.
The spicy factor was a 4.25/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.25. It was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I would rate the novella a 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️. It was a quick read. I wanted more character development and insight to Jack and Lip as teenagers and college student before meeting Joey. I wanted to know more about Joey before meeting the two guys. Quick read for sure!

Holy…!
I might reread this book several times a month 🙆🏻♀️ the book is hot, dirty, even has a bit of drama and a lot of adult content, plus Jack and Lip… Oh my God, those scenes are so sexy.
I really liked it, it's obviously short and has a good rhythm, did I mention that it has a bit of drama?
The plot isn't great, but it's worth reading before going to sleep.
One of my favorite erotic books of the year so far, we must not forget that we are in January and that means that I still have many books to read, but I will closely follow this author, I like the raw and explicit nature of her pen.

Mmm! Yum!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was a delicious short story involving a throuple, including some steamy MM scenes. This is totally my kind of book- mostly fluff, not a huge plot and lots & LOTS OF STEAM🥵🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I have a few minor complaints but because they are plot issues, and, well, this isn’t exactly a plot heavy book- and I loved the steam- I did not take off any ⭐️
My minor complaints as follows….
WARNING: **MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD**
There were a few time glitches in the writing but nothing major- this throuple has been together for 2 years already, they are a very established and solid throuple, each very much in love with the other. Due to this fact, I found it a bit weird for it to take 2 years to learn about Jack’s troubled past. Also it’s the first time the heroine has anal (2 years as a throuple? C’mon let’s be real…).
The other time glitch is they don’t have sex for 3 months, after which she finds out she is pregnant (therefore she is at minimum 3 months pregnant) then epilogue is 9 months later and she is giving birth (dang- that’s a 12 month pregnancy- yikes!!). Not gonna complain though cause 2nd epilogue is steamy goodness! 🔥🌶️🔥🌶️🔥🌶️🔥🌶️🔥🌶️

Mila Crawford does such a good job fitting so much character development into such a short story. I feel like we get more depth from her characters than in some full length novels/series I’ve read, and it makes these novellas such a fun quick read! Double Dip was super fast paced and I loved all of the characters! There were a few inconsistencies throughout the story, but they were usually little details that didn’t impact the overall plot.
I've seen a few reviews saying that the book lacked a plot/substance and I feel like it's important to note for potential readers that this is a 60 page NOVELLA. You aren't going to be getting a full detailed story, you're going to be dropped into what feels like the middle of one - that's the intention. I just feel like people need to better set their expectations when going into these types of stories so they aren't left disappointed. I agree I've seen Novellas with stronger plots, but it's very obvious by the synopsis and and other descriptions of this novella and series that this is all spice with only a bit of story to hold it together.

Mila brought ALL the spice with Double Dip. It’s a quick read that’s packed to the max with heat and has so much love in it.
I really love how Mila wrote this. It’s not an insta-love sort of tale - Joey, Lip and Jack are already in a relationship. This is a tale that shows how communication and love in a polyamorous relationship is so vital and works.
I adore how Joey is the missing the piece that balances out the compassionate Lip and broken Jack. I love how Lip and Joey help and support Jack…even when he hit rock bottom. Lip and Jack brought me to my knees with how they love and worship Joey and each other.
The plot is fast paced, but didn’t feel too rushed. I love the dynamics, how each character grew closer, and don’t even get me started on the smexy times because they are 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Mila is a Queen in her element with this romance and I am hungry for more!

Lip and Jack have been best friends since they were 4 and met Joey in college and knew she was the one. This is an MMF romance so there are some MM scenes as well. There's a huge fight between the three of them when Jack comes back from a bar and he's all bloody and he runs away again and they haven't seen him for a week and turns out he got into an accident and he's fine. They apologize and after 3 months they finally get together. 9 months later she is preggers with Lori and 5 years after that she had Cain and they're still very in love and hot. Oof the scenes between Jack and Lip are hot.
Solid 4/5

I know this was a novella but this felt so rushed there was so much going on so fast and then before you know it 3 months have passed, then 9 and then 5 years... normally I would think "who wants plot when you have spice" but I do think the plot could have been built on, I want to know more about Jack's childhood and him meeting Lip for the first time...
I'm not sure the time frame adds up either with the 3 month jump... from the sounds of it sex has been off the table for all 3 of them during those 3 months whilst Jack healed up, so joeys period wouldn't just be late, it would have skipped entirely... I did however love the "we both are" moment at the hospital.
I clearly became quite attached to Jack getting his happily ever after 😂

2 make sure your partner is available for after, or your batteries are stocked.
3 prepare to have your panties melted several times.
Mila did not hold back with this one, from page one you are hurled into thw hot quick paced relationship of Lip, Jack and Joey.
Joey is the glue that holds the trio together.
Jack is the loose cannon who needs to hand over his pain to the two people that love him the most.
Lip is the sweet to both Joey and Jack's he cares for both his partners whole heartedly.
Fantastic read, can't wait to read the next book.

The amount of semen exchanged in this book was immense; How the 2 guys didn't get chronic cramps from dehydration i really don't know.
I think the heroine could put up a few rolls of wall paper with what was on her tongue, it really was way over the top. Poor lass was getting pummeled eternally by these two guys, couldn't even go out for a meal without becoming the buffet herself.
Some books are really sex based and plot light this one was just sex sex sex and no plot at all, I guess it was going for a shock factor but it was just immature and repulsive. Using butter as lube for anal sex was something im sure lurpac would not condone.

Realmente me gustó cómo la autora escribió esto. No es una historia de amor instantáneo: Joey, Lip y Jack ya están en una relación. Esta es una historia que muestra cómo la comunicación y el amor en una relación poliamorosa es tan vital y funciona.
La trama es rápida, pero no se siente demasiado apresurada. Me encanta la dinámica, cómo cada personaje se hizo más cercano, y ni siquiera me hagas empezar con las escenas spicy porque las ame.

4⭐️Oh goodness, is it winter? Because there’s snowballs flying everywhere! Why is it so hot as well? I need a scarf and to derobe all at once!
I love the dynamics between these three and I love their connection and commitment to each other. It’s such a beautiful sentiment and a really nice relationship.
It’s really nice to see normalising of therapy when you’ve been something so traumatic like the MC’s here have. I enjoy when the mental health rep is done well and not everything being solved by the MC’s love for each other. Great read!

Sexy Why Choose Short Story
Perfection- we’ve seen Joey, Jack, & Lip make guest appearances in some of the other books and now reading their story was perfect!
Jack has had a hard life but Lip & Joey make him whole and watching them love each other through thick and thin is beautiful. Lip has been best friends with Jack since they were 4 years old and he will do anything for him even if it means protecting him from himself! They support each other no matter what and it’s quite delicious watching them find their HEA together! Happy Reading!!
