I grew up in the rural Midwest before moving to the East Coast with a dashing young man who swept me off my feet, and we've now settled in the desert of Nevada. I write M/M contemporary romance, subgenres: sweet low angst, age-gap, cowboys, mysteries, and military/mercenary to name a few. I am a firm believer in "Love is Love" regardless of how it presents itself, and I'm a staunch ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I have a loving, supportive family, and I feel blessed by the universe and thankful every day for all I have been given. I’m old enough to know how to have fun, but too old to care what others think about my definition of a good time. In my heart and soul, I believe I hit the cosmic jackpot. Cheers!
A strong entry into the Weighting... series. Book two find our heroes, Wyatt and Talbot dealing with a "Chinatown" moment as Maisy, who Wyatt lost his virginity to 15 years prior, Loses her battle with cancer and leaves her son, Cal in their care. The weight loss camp takes a backseat in this outing and we focus more on the family both Wyatt and Talbot are making. Well written and with enough twists to keep you turning turning the pages until the wee hours of the morning. Highly recommended.
Well, I think this one was a bit better than the first, maybe. BTW: any story with kids and babies is usually a hit for me... so, yeah... this was a good read!
I can't say I was expecting this book to be directly continuing from Book 1, but I was glad. Unlike a lot of the gay romance books, this wasn't about other people it was still about Wyatt and Talbot and boy was I glad.
