Quantum Leap: Quantum Cozy Spy Mysteries Book 1

Rate this book
1 Dangerous jewel thief, 2 handsome operatives, missing billion dollar jewelry and….me.

My boring predictable life as an NYU grad student barely getting by, waiting on rich guests at fancy parties is about to get seriously upended.

While all the guests are eating, I become the only eyewitness to an international jewel thief who sees me watching him.

I expected to get questioned by the cops, but I didn't expect to be carted off by a mysterious man who works for a semi-legit espionage operation. I also didn’t expect to meet his computer genius brother and start to have feelings for both of them.

I want to go back to my old life but it’s too late for that. Shaw is dangerous and knows who I am. I’m much safer at Quantum, if I can stay without losing my mind, or my heart.

An action, adventure, thriller type book that reminds me of the older James Bond movies. If only he had a brother. The two bonds end up with a female to watch. She is in training to become the new member of the bond family.
It's a fairly quick read that's perfect for those couple hours of relaxing time. It doesn't really end on a HEA as it's the first novel of a series that is just beginning. Saying that, it still has a pending that makes it suitable to read as a stand alone. Fans of Remington Steele, Bond, and Hart to Hart type shows will enjoy this book.

Awesome!

I must admit, I read this book because of the title. I'm so glad I did. A wild ride of adventure and excitement. Truly a spy novel even to the 'gadgets'! The character development was so involved. I wasn't sure what would come next, but loved the anticipation I felt. Fun Read that I highly recommend.

Entertaining

How can life for a college student who works serving at elaborate parties become so complicated? The answer has several facets: witnessing a billion dollars theft, being hunted for killing, protected by two attractive brothers, plus more.

Awkwardly funny

The storytelling is pretty good for a new writer, but the dialogue, repetition and wording needs more polishing and development.
