Ginoford’s awake... which means I’ve tripped a duel-to-the death flag!

Konoha Satou’s fantasy romance first began when she wrote the self-indulgent fic as a teen. But now that she is its most loathsome villainess, the details of her Dark History are a matter of life-and-death!

To speed up Yomi’s recovery in the aftermath of Kagura’s ambush as a Knight of Schwartz, Iana and her companions bring him to Ginoford’s family manor to seek the assistance of Ginoford’s exroommate, Yatori. But his role in her original Dark Historywas to seduce Konoha while Ginoford was trapped in an eternal slumber—and challenge him to mortal combat should he ever awake...

~ 🐞 ~ Unlike the previous volume, this time this volume focus on Iana's feelings. The truth is...Iana was reincarnated from a weeb girl by the name Konoha. In her previous life, she fantasize herself as a heroine in a fantasy world surrounded by handsome heroes...then short long story she met with an accident, and died, thus reincarnated to Iana, the main villan in her fantasy world! This volume now focus on Iana's feeling about her loved towards her fantasy world and characters were she suppose to be the main heroin (yes, she using her real name to fantasize about it) and not the main villian. Slowly she started to feel envy towards Konoha (the heroine) and at the same time she's afraid that she might slowly turn to be evil just as the original story she created and met her death flag of course. And not to forget there's a new evil cults that keeps targeting Konoha Iana's dismay... ~ 🐞 ~

Iana continues to face suspicions and to set off death flags. Despite only wanting to help her sister, she continues to put herself in precarious situations. Additionally, Iana’s feelings for Ginoford continue to intensify, so in order to nip them in the bud she agrees to an unexpected alliance. I can’t wait to see what she does next. 3.5

Poor Yomi! He’s constantly sick or getting injured! Also, this one focused mostly on Ginoford, booooo!!! I want more Sol! He’s so cute and sweet! And that almost kiss, GUH!

This isn’t the full five stars, because too much Gino, too little Sol and the artwork is just so ugly and confusing during the action scenes, I can never tell what is going on.

And Iana REALLY needs to tell them all that Konoha is a Saintess, her powers haven’t manifested yet and that the Knights of Schwartz want to make her powers manifest by hurting Gino.

And Sol needs to be in the next book a LOT more!

4, more Sol, stars!

Things Are Ramping Up

This volume made my heart hurt for Iana. As the original creator of Ginoford who loved him with all her heart, as did the OG Iana, it became clear in this volume, that she isn't over him at all. It hurt seeing her like that. And Ginoford cares about her, but it can never be like how he cares about Konoha.

Sol also seems to be realizing his own feelings for Iana, but now she's in a fake engagement with a new character. Will be interesting to see how that all shakes out.

Then there's the guys trying to force Konoha's awakening still. I'm not entirely sure of their endgame, but they're very determined. Can't wait for the next volume.

Iana is sacrificed so much and the story is getting better and more serious, but also I am getting a little annoyed how everyone thinks her as a villainess and why they should stop her cause the older Sister needs to be protected.

I get the plot but it is becoming painful to see her struggle so hard.
Yomi is the best.

I find this whole manga series as a whole really funny and relatable. It’s not groundbreaking or high literary value but this was refreshing amidst the trash I’d been reading so fuck it, 4*s. Konoha is my spirit animal.
