Facing each other on the battlefield, the two join together to buy some time and force heaven’s carefully written plot off-script…!
It's been awhile since I'd read this series, so I was worried I wouldn't be able to get back into it, but oh man, is it getting good. This was a pivotal issue for the major characters to do a gut check and verify that the ways their relationships had changed in Japan would carry over to the land they all originally came from, despite the fact that little has changed back home.
I'm so bummed that I have to wait for the next volume to reach my library system. This series is getting so good.
Despite how I prefer the slice-of-life aspects of this series over the action scenes, I really liked this volume! There was enough character development and intrigue to keep me entertained through the action-heavy parts. I'm really curious how this arc is going to end and am excited to continue with the series.
Looks like this arc is coming to an end soon, its been really good! The scene near the end with Emmi being really upset and saying things, well that just confirmed it for me, not that I needed it before
it’s a shame that it’s taken like 18 volumes for this to get remotely interesting. also i know its not going to happen but like enemies to lovers emimaou would save this whole stupid series. but we all know that’s not going to happen and they’ll do something stupid instead
This has always been a funny series, but I feel like things are finally all coming together in a cohesive plot rather than just being a gag manga. It's cute.
