Wedding bells are ringing at the Happy Valley Motor Inn and Resort. While she’s still grieving the loss of her husband the year before, Paula Jean Arnett is determined to help her friend have the wedding of a lifetime. Still, she doesn’t expect her own heart will heal anytime soon. But between friends old and new, the resort’s well-deserved reputation for mayhem, and two handsome men vying for her attention, Paula learns that sometimes life offers a second chance at happiness.
Loved the 1st and 2nd books. I didn’t want them to end. She made the characters feel so real and the stories just flowed together. Never a dull moment. Highly recommend.
I just loved this series and hope there will be more. The characters are endearing and in this time of political bickering and hate by both sides of the political fence, this book just makes a person smile and have a bit of hope.
Wedding at the Valley Motor Inn is the sequel to Mayhem at the Valley Motor Inn and Resort Its been a year since Paula found out she inherited a Resort from her late husband . and a year since she and cassie visited and became friends with the 3 MS . In this delightful follow up we find the matriarch of the 3 m's is getting married and if there is shenanigans it will happen at the resort. With a little bit of mystery and a whole bunch of friendship this book was a quick read and not a disappointment . It was good to see to see old characters return and new characters appear. Hopefully she will continue the series would love to read what happens with Paula\Mark\Court and Melinda\cassie and Mackenzie .

Just can’t help loving these characters & cheering for them. Makes you want to buy an airstream camper & head to Happy Valley campground for our own adventure. Looking forward to next book ❤️.
I'm really enjoying the adventures of Paula and all the rest of the crew. I'm in love with these deep rich characters. So much like my own zany friends and family! Can't wait to see what happens next!
A unique balance of LOL funny moments and poignant scenes keeps the reader engaged and committed to these characters. Believable scenarios; believable characters and a charming setting.

I think he flirts when he is bored. It’s his version of fidgeting.’”
“Court joined them and Mark said, “Court Campbell, this is Zed Fitzgerald, Zeke’s brother. Zed, this is Cassie’s brother. Court, Zed juggles knives. In the nude.” Court’s face lost all color and his jaw dropped. He shook Zed’s hand and said, “Sir, that takes balls.” Zed shrugged. “So far, it does.’”

While I couldn’t put the book down, it was rather corny. Good plot but pretty predictable in many instances. But, a good read and I’ll probably read the next one too. 🤪
What a fun story. The characters are real and lovable. Inheritance can work very well, if you don't jump to conclusions. Jumping so a problem that was solved. I'm sure that you will enjoy these books. Happy Reading !!!
With all the trouble happening in Happy Valley and a wedding to prepare for keeps the owners and their friends busy. So many different Stories. Paula might just find her future in Happy Valley. I was disappointed not to see another series book, so many unfinished endings.
It’s been a year since Paula Arnett lost her husband, Cal, in a tragic automobile accident, and subsequently discovered she had inherited the aforementioned Happy Valley Motor Inn and Resort. The loss is nearly as fresh now as it was then, and she finds herself spiraling into despair as the anniversary approaches. Her best friend, Cassie, suggests a return visit to the resort, where they met the trio of ladies who currently handle day-to-day operations. One of the 3M’s (Martha, Melinda, and McKenzie—grandmother, mother, and daughter) is getting married, and it feels like the perfect distraction. When Cassie’s flirty brother, Court, tags along and competes with Happy Valley’s resident “Dr. Hunky” for Paula’s attention, it’s more distraction than Paula counted on. As they all pitch in to prepare the resort to receive a capacity crowd for the wedding, local vandals seem determined to derail the proceedings at every turn. Will Martha and Zeke’s nuptials proceed without incident? Not very likely…
When I read the first book in this series, I really didn’t know what to make of it. My normal go-to’s are mysteries and thrillers, suspense and horror—I love it when an imperiled protagonist overcomes great adversity to prevail in the end, shredding my nerves along the way. There is nothing so dire here. It’s just a bunch of likable people being nice to one another and finding ways to support each other when life (or death) throws them a curveball. It’s episodic and engaging, and by the end, I found myself caring about these people and the world Ms. Noyes built. Happy Valley is a happy place, and after a hard day in an imperfect world, it feels like a gift—like comfort food but without the calories. There’s a lot of eating, drinking, camaraderie, and hugs, and the reassuring sense that everything will work out in the end. Even the bad guys are more an annoyance than a real threat. This second entry is an improvement over the first as Noyes has tightened her prose, greatly reducing unnecessary details that occasionally slowed the narrative flow of the debut.
From its opening pages, it felt like going home—if going home is a thing you would enjoy. 😁 I’m already looking forward to Book Three!
Leslie Noyes has penned another winner. From page one, you won't be able to put this book down. The characters are well rounded and it is a delightful story with lots of twists and turns that will keep you turning the page. I highly recommend this book.
The Happy Valley Motor Inn and Resort is a place I plan to visit over and over! The second installment in the series offers a visit with characters I've already come to love, as well as a few new ones who make the place even more enjoyable. These are people I'd want to spend time with in real life. I love, love, love the bride and groom! The book is a fun read with just the right amount of tension, romance, and a little mystery. I'm already looking forward to book 3!
A wonderful second episode at the Happy Valley Motor Inn!
Leslie did not disappoint with this second in the series! It will leave you wanting the next episode immediately! It starts with just the right number of reminders of happenings from the original, so you jump right back in with all of the wonderful characters and their antics. I hope book #3 is already in the works!
