Artisan soap maker, Windsor Bradley wasn’t looking for romance, but the moment she locked eyes with a handsome stranger in an art gallery, she knew she’d be going home with him… if only for one night.
Author, Damian Anthony couldn’t believe his luck when he found himself dancing with the most intriguing woman in the room. He didn’t know what to expect when he showed up at the art gallery, but he never imagined he’d be leaving with a beautiful woman on his arm. After an incredible night of pleasure, Damian wakes up alone, wondering if it was all just a dream or the beginning of something deeper.
What happens when a one-night stand leads to an intense craving you can’t explain? How do you reconnect with a stranger you only know by their first name? Will Damian and Windsor’s night of passion be a fleeting moment in their lives… or will it lead to a lifetime of love?
Sexy, emotional, and healing, Damian’s Windsor will make you laugh and cry, while sending erotic tingles throughout your body, as only an Ebony Farashuu novel can.

Great read. Damian’s and Windsor’s relationship is born from a one night stand that they soon realized they both wanted more from. Damian is an author and Windsor is a free spirited soap maker. They navigate through their blossoming relationship both working on their careers and working to heal from past hurt, pain, and family secrets.

This book was poetry in motion every word drew you in with emotion that painted colors of soul connecting love....wait not even typical love, but soul converging together to exist within each other type of love. This book is the epitome of there's no time limit when a soul recognizes its other half.
Damian is a writer who's invited to a upper class art gala. Windsor is a free spirit soap making passionate ball of fire whose at the art gala just loving the vibe, but Damian has caught her attention. Damian couldn't believe that the beautiful woman looking at him seem interested in him. Windsor's friend boyfriend can't take no for an answer and Damian comes to her rescue, but neither of them realize their fate was sealed. I have never highlighted so much in my kindle in my life if I had a physical copy (I do now) it would be colorful with my words of appreciation. This book made you see and feel hope in love with the characters. At points in the book I had to catch my breath because my GAWD who wouldn't want a love that damn deep that it fills any emptiness and hold you securely. THis book my goodness was everything and will fill your heart with love running over. This is the Black love that's breathtaking , all consuming, and spiritually connecting. A for real must read ...this is india arie "Ready for love" mixed in with Floetry "Say Yes" and not to mention the playlist named Damian's Windsor on Amazon Music. A must read!!!1
This book is everything and more I usually have a ton of things to say but this book left me speechless and that's a good thing it was great 1st page to last
This is officially my favorite romance book of all time. If you're looking for a steamy romance book, with a good plot and vulnerable main characters, look no further, beloved!
This book was so well written. It was like poetry with the language used. Such a beautiful love story. This book actually left me speechless after reading it.
Damian's Windsor is the most wild and wonderful read experiences I have experienced in a while. I walked into this book without prior knowledge of what this book was to be about and it blew my mind. The writing was breathtakingly beautiful but also didn't take itself too serious. You can tell Ebony is a poet at heart!
This is one of the few instalove stories that I allowed myself to go with the flow without question. I ate this up like it was my first meal in days... burned my mouth on how hot the chemistry was between the two characters. After a while I began to taste the flavor instead of focusing on the heat. Their relationship was smoky and sweet, tender but meaty. It was amazing to watch Ebony mind at work bringing Damian and Windsor from a one night stand to standing the test of time together in the blink of an eye.
I could gush about this for hours on end but I want to be mindful that it has some heavy trigger warnings. TW: Grief of a parent, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Non consensual sex, suicidal attempts, infidelity, colorism, and self-loathing. Please read this with care
It has been awhile since I have given a five star review and/or discovered an a new author that is bringing this type of heat! I am thankful that a fellow book club member posted about this book and shared that we would not regret this literary journey.
The individual and combined stories of Damian and Windsor were heady, captivating, exhilarating and frustrating at times.
This book took on a lot of themes and this could have taken away from the overall story but the author was a master craftsman as she weaved together each detail to add to the texture of the story.
This wasn’t a singular story but very layered and complex with a few twists, turns, and complications but the common thread throughout was love! I think that’s what truly won me over is the theme of love throughout.
Finally, there were a few minor loose ends that I would have loved more insight on e.g. April’s feelings after the big reveal and what ever happened to the Windsor’s best friend and her low life boyfriend. However, overall, I am more than pleased!!
One night of heat can turn into a lifetime of forever. Heard about this book when someone posted about it in our BGRT Facebook group. I'm glad I did. Windsor is a representation of so many women I know. She's been abused, wants love but settles for one night stands, she's confident and fragile, afraid of what love real love could be. She meets Damien at an art show. She thought it was going to be one night, but it turned out to be so much more.
The characters are well developed and I cried Damian when Damien got that check, heard his father's voice and got confirmation from Windsor when his dream was finally becoming a reality. The family dynamic with he and his ex is how it should be. Loved all the characters. Family secrets can be devastating, but loved the way it was handled.
If you are looking for a beautiful love story, this is a good one. Its more than a romance novel though. Extra ⭐ for the characters being 39 and 40.
4.25 Stars. I absolutely loved this book. It was so realistic. No cheating, no bs just real love. Who knew a one night stand, you spot at an art gallery, could lead to one of the best things you ever done. Everyone be wanting a bad boy as a book boyfriend, nope get you a Damian. Even through turmoil love shined so bright. Loved the writing it for sure had a poetic feel. The sexy scenes .... whew I felt like I was right there (chemistry was magnetic/high sexual vibes). Windsor is entering her 40's and was a free spirit healing from her messed up past, and accepting things she could not change. She found her prey and attacked but didn't mean to feel what she felt after. Damian a 39 year old struggling writer just trying to make it so he can build a future for his son and himself. He didn't even see her coming!!! What happens when that person you just had an amazing experience with stays on your mind but you only know their first name??? You go find them!!! If it was meant to be it will be. But will your secrets from the past creep back up to destroy what you have built. I love ... love. Enjoyed this book will read more by author. Check trigger warning (SA/Domestic Violence/Mental health/Suicide attempt)
This book was a grown and sexy read. There were very steamy sexual scenes that weren't raunchy or out of place. Sometimes the first attractive people experience is of a sexual orientation. It was a love story that involved healing from hurt – both emotional and physical. It was about letting your heart lead you even when your pain wants you to shelter it. Damien and Windsor’s love gave me faith in love at first sight. It reminded me that we should take advantage of the small nudges that our heart sends us. Sometimes we need to let down the walls we’ve built around us and allow nature to take its course.
This was such a lovely read. Different parts of my body were being activated all throughout this book. Reading about a Black Woman experiencing that love at first sight — WITHOUT having to build, heal, or lessen herself for him. Damian came correct, and even when he didn’t, he did! I loved them for each other. I wanted nothing but happiness for this duo.
Thank you for delivering a book where we get to be loved more than we be traumatized for bad relationships.
This is my first time reading a book by Ebony Farashuu and I must say job well done. It was the right amount of everything and speaks to a lot of people. I don’t believe in the‘universe, etc’ but I truly enjoyed their connection and love. I love how Damian expressed his emotions freely allowing others to see his vulnerability. It shows it’s okay for men to be vulnerable in the same way. This book is chef’s kiss 😘
It was great to read a book filled with positivity and black love. No hard drugs, no cheating, no excessive violence (even though DV was a part of the plot). Topics that are pertinent to the black community were addressed (brand/business ownership, generational wealth, colorism, dv, etc.) and the plot was kept fresh and interesting. And the spicy sex scenes didn’t hurt! I would love a part 2.
This book was so beautifully written. The spice was great. The families had depth & explanations of who they were occurred within the book. Can a one night stand become a full-grown relationship? Can two people who need to heal from past traumas help each other heal? Find out when you download or pick up this book.
First and foremost I need a few bars of soap from Windsor. I was able to imagine the smell from the description of the soap. If we could all find love like this the world would be a greater place to exist. Loved, loved, loved this book.
It had the right amount of everything in this book! I laughed, teared up, had to fan myself from some scenes 😂😂.. But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Can’t wait for more!
This is my first read, but not the last, by this author. The intro to both main characters will grip you and not let go…I literally smiled most of this book and I dare you to read this book and not do the same. Great read!!!
This book was simply amazing! It piqued my interest when I saw the cover in the BGRT group I am in. The descriptions of the characters, the vibes, everything about this story captured and kept my interest. I cannot wait to read more of this authors’ work.
This was a deep book. It sucked me in and kept me captive until the very end. I loved Damian, but I loved Windsor even more. Every emotion she felt was relatable.
