About the author

Jill writes inspirational romantic fiction with a medical theme. She is an Amazon best-selling author and the first two novels in her Royal Medicine Series, Royally Confused and Royally Engaged are 2022 Selah Award Finalists. She has also won Firebird Book Awards for Harte Broken, Perfectly Imperfect, A Prescription for Beauty, and Royally Confused.

Her debut novels are part of the A Dose of Love series. Each story can stand alone, but all feature strong female leads facing challenging life circumstances while finding love along the way. Jill’s love of romance and her experience of losing her mother on the same day of her daughter’s birth inspired the first novel, Harte Broken. Such a great series! So many hijinks happening! Claire's new doggy causes a stir and some of the situations that Claire is in are very hilarious.

Claire always comes to the rescue of saving other peoples' lives!

Claire learned to trust in God, not just herself.

Cute read

A really cute royal read. However, a lot of praying to God and biblical verses. Not needed as it didn't add to the story. Will definitely read the rest of the series

This is the second book in the Royal Medicine Series which is the second series by Jill Boyce. This is one of those series that need to be read in order because otherwise you miss out on a lot. In this novel, Claire is engaged to be married and working toward taking over the crown from her paternal grandmother. Even though Claire, the main character, is royalty in this series, she is still very relatable. Like most people, she worries about many things including whether she will be enough. I also very much enjoy her maternal grandmother because she is on the odd side and does not care what other people think of her. She makes this book humorous in all the right ways.
