What do you think?
Spiked
In this, the eagerly-awaited third Nottingham detective novel, Dave Thompson is feeling the strain. At home he feels cramped, at work he feels put upon, in his head he is struggling to decide what is right and what is wrong in his life, and his work-load keeps getting ever heavier.
When a sports teacher at the private Whitaker School for Boys is found dead, and in rather grizzly circumstances, he gets the case and it turns out to be a pretty tangled web of lies, deceit and intrigue. Things about the case appear complicated, but Thompson is a thinker and, given time, he will get there. It might help if Detective Sergeant Prosser stopped saying 'righty-ho' all the time, though..
Join DI Dave Thompson, DS Liam Prosser, DCs Laura 'Elkie' Knight, Carla 'Pixie' Adams, Josh Brady and Lorna Meikle in Thompson's latest case, 'Spiked', book three in the DI Thompson series.
