Ksshin 花心 was written by Harumi Setouchi in 1960's.
This was a something like erotica and she was evicted from Japanese literary circle just due to her writing erotica. Actually she was famous for her rich love life. In this novel she separated a physical desire from Platonic Love and described well hunger for sex from woman's view.
After her roving among men author became a nun of Buddhist temple. Current her feeling of meaningless can be tasted by who has been tired of love affairs. Maybe she would like to say " Don't be obsessed with one thing.". Love can be made with others not by only you.
