I'm more into this series after the second volume! It's been such a good read!
The main characters are all great and so likeable not to mention I really enjoy the story so far with the MC not really being drawn into the hero cliché so far, I'm intrigued about what will happen after those last few pages!
2024: see I vauguly remember all this so it's a good thing I'm doing the reread before moving onto the new volumes I have.

The plot takes an interesting twist in the second volume of this series and I like it so far. The chosen hero is anything but and our main character has an interesting viewpoint about the world he now lives in. I can almost see the beginning of a rather cliché harem starting and I do hope that isn't leaned into too hard. While I do enjoy a good harem, the overly jealous wife troop is a little played out for my tastes. The artwork is great and lends itself well to the action being depicted. Volume ends on a cliffhanger and so I am anxious to read the next volume, I am sure it's going to get crazy.

This is the most fan fing tabulous manga i've come across. Gets isekaied and just goes 'nope i'll live my own life thanks'. Best mc yet in my opinion.

Petite série dont j’avais lu le premier tome, puis laissée de côté, comme tant d’autres malheureusement… Il faut dire que le premier tome ne m’avait pas intéressé plus que ça, même si j’aimais l’idée du Isekai entre deux mondes assez similaires et non de notre monde à un autre (ça change). Je pensais qu’il s’agissait surtout d’une série assez douce, où l’on suit un couple en gros, mais ce tome m’a fait me raviser sur ce point et j’en viens à vouloir lire la suite rapidement !
Furio qui souhaite vivre en paix se met tout de même à entraîner le groupe de Balirossa. Le but étant qu’elle puisse s’améliorer, pour devenir indépendante et pouvoir chasser des monstres. Manque de bol, il semblerait que cela soit plus long que prévu, je me demande même si ce n’est pas à tendance Harem cette histoire. J’avoue que c’est un peu fatiguant qu’une bonne partie des titres fantasy ou isekai que j’ai finissent ainsi… Pour l’instant, cela semble à sens unique et Fenrys veille au grain, donc peu de chance que cela parte trop loin. D’ailleurs, elle est vraiment trop mignonne Fenrys, elle essaie vraiment de bien faire pour Furio, comme apprendre à cuisiner. Pas facile pour une démone ayant l’habitude de manger de la viande crue et qui découvre des nouvelles saveurs avec la cuisine de « son époux ». J’adore son expression à ce moment-là, la nourriture, il n’y a que ça de vrai (et pour certains, c’est leur seul plaisir). Par contre, j’avoue que certaines recettes sont pour moi un peu trop poussée. Par exemple, celles où tu fais de la viande, mais que tu rajoutes 50 épices ou citron, etc… Au final, tu n’as même plus le goût de base de la viande… C’est triste je trouve. Ce qui est étonnant aussi, c’est qu’ils mangent les monstres, alors que parfois, ils sont décrits comme empoisonnées. Au final, c’est donc juste des animaux normaux en fait, c’est juste qu’ils ont des capacités comme les autres êtres vivants.
Il y a assez peu de passages sur le « royaume » je n’entends pas là l’armée royale avec le pseudo héro. Mais visiblement, il ne sert strictement à rien, sa réputation semble aussi déjà faite. À savoir qu’il fuit dès qu’il y a un danger et qu’il est nul en combat. Sans oublier toutes ses dérives car monsieur se sent puissant et important. Un peu comme dans l’EXTRAordinaire apothicaire, les « experts » se sont littéralement plantés sur le vrai héro (ou la vraie sainte), ce qui donne une situation assez malaisante. On peut le dire clairement, ses deux séries ont littéralement un personnage dont l’habit ne fait pas le moine comme on dit. La princesse semble toutefois plus ouverte d’esprit par rapport aux autres, elle comprend rapidement que quelqu’un s’est introduit dans la salle aux trésors royales (ce qui sonne pas bon déjà) mais qu’en plus il a fait une grosse bourde… Avec la fin du tome, je pense que le prochain promet le premier gros coup de colère de notre protagoniste et je n’aimerais pas être celui qui va devoir en subir les conséquences. D’ailleurs, peut-être que cela sonnera la fin de la vie tranquille pour le groupe. En tout cas, j’adore toujours autant, dans les mangas comme dans les animes, c’est les dessins de nourritures, ça a toujours l’air tellement bon !

Plusieurs mois après ma lecture du premier tome, je me replonge enfin dans ce manga que j’avais beaucoup apprécié. J’étais impatiente de me replonger dans cet univers. Et ça m’a fait très plaisir de me mettre enfin à continuer cette saga. Ce second tome était tout aussi plaisant que le premier. On continue d’avancer dans l’histoire, de découvrir de plus en plus l’univers, les personnages etc. Je suis encore plus impatiente de découvrir les tomes suivants pour en découvrir encore plus sur tout ça. Surtout lorsque je vois comment ce second tome se termine! Ça donne vraiment envie de se plonger dans la lecture de la suite.
Dans ce second tome, on retrouve le personnage de Banaza qui a pris le nom de Furio pour cacher son identité. Aux côtés de Fenrys, la fille démon qu’il a acceptée comme épouse, il aspire à commencer une nouvelle vie paisible. Toutefois, les échos de sa puissance démesurée parviennent jusqu’aux oreilles de la capitale et même à celles du Roi Démon! Ils se ruent donc tous vers Furio pour tenter de s’accaparer sa force. Afin d’échapper à ces sollicitations qui troublent le calme de sa petite vie tranquille. Furio décide d’utiliser un sort de téléportation pour trouver un nouvel endroit où vivre.
J’ai beaucoup aimé ce second tome. On retrouve Furio qui vit sa vie paisiblement entouré de Fenrys et des autres. Ils s’occupent d’un potager et compagnie. On ne cesse de solliciter Furio pour l’avoir dans ses rangs, tant il est puissant. Sauf que Furio ne l’entend pas de cette façon. Lui tout ce qu’il veut, c’est vivre sa vie tranquillement entouré de son épouse, Fenrys. J’aime beaucoup le personnage de Furio justement. J’aime beaucoup également la façon dont l’histoire est mené. On a pas mal de scènes de combats et entre deux on est plus sur un tranche de vie. J’aime beaucoup ça.
La fin de ce second tome nous promet une suite plus que palpitante. Le danger rôde désormais suite à ce que le prétendu héros a fait.. Ça nous promet un troisième tome haut en couleur et je sens qu’il va se passer beaucoup de choses maintenant.. J’ai vraiment hâte de découvrir ce qu’il va se passer désormais avec ce génie de sortie. D’ailleurs, je m’en vais dévorer la suite immédiatement. J’ai vraiment besoin de savoir ce qu’il va se passer et j’ai surtout beaucoup de questions qui attendent des réponses!

Super fun super cute!
I really like the anime so I'm reading the manga. The first volume of the manga had some weird choices and the timeline but I'm happy to report that this volume did not have those problems. In fact I don't really have any complaints about this volume! I enjoy the characters a lot, I also like how it's not really a harem well-being kind of harem? I often find the formula of the harem genre tiresome when it comes to the behavior and intelligence of the females in the harem. In this series the main character is married very early on and while the potential harem does find him as a desireable partner they respect the fact that he's married. I like this dynamic, it's refreshing alternative the usual idea of a favored partner and and ambivalent male suitor. In this case we have the workings of a somewhat healthy relationship, so there is still the comedic rom-com aspects. So in this way you have a collection of respectable female characters growing strong and independent instead of competing and debasing themselves over the protagonist. Much more likeable.

It’s not terrible, but it is not anywhere near good either. It is comically ridiculous how incompetent the four women are, despite having apparently passed knight training. It sounds as if the first demon lord was somebody summoned from another world as well, and the human screwed up as usual and 500 years later they’re still at war. The hero is still a narcissistic incompetent coward, and now he’s let loose a djinn to kill everyone, using his three wishes in the dumbest, most selfish way possible 🙄
Apparently the demon king likes Belirossa, having mistaken her talent for passing out with her eyes open for being courageous. Flio running around being OP, Rys as a clingy, jealous wife….its just meh. He’s currently facing off with the djinn and Rys is just mortally wounded, but I have no doubt that he’ll turn things back around and it will be fine.

I’m just now realizing this is a harem isekai. Surprisingly, I am still enjoying this, I think because banaza hasn’t shown a single blip of interest in anyone but rys…and the other women aren’t truly pursuing him.
I kind of hope the dark one and balirossa get together soon - that would be a hilarious and strangely sweet pairing!
this volume is mainly set up for the banaza/hiya showdown, which is hopefully epic..!!!
still waiting for some relationship development between banaza and rys. but we saw a bit of her fire again when uliminas comes to visit them.

Les dessins sont super beaux, tout autant que dans le précédent. J’ai pris plaisir à détailler les personnages, l’expression de leur visage, les mouvements de leurs habits. C’était un vrai plaisir. Davantage que le récit qui est plutôt soft.
L’intrigue est plutôt lisse. Il ne se passe pas grand-chose. Ça se lisait, mais sans plus. Je me suis un peu ennuyée. De plus, certaines parties de la trame étaient plus que prévisibles.
En conclusion, c’était pas terrible comme lecture.

Highly recommend
I bought this right as it came out this story is very well laid out and even if it's an ideal it's done in a refreshing way and is a great take on the genre I like the character interactions alot and the anti hero aspect is good as well can't wait till the next volume I'll probably buy this series in paper form since it's so good

Yep, this is still great! I'm pleasantly surprised at the lack of fanservice here, this story really relies on its characters to keep the attention of the reader and does a fantastic job at that. The back half definitely deserves note, there's a lot of political intrigue thrown into the mix and I'm interested to see where all of this goes.

Just a few things I liked about this manga novel right off the bat include—
~The beautiful artwork style, the developing plot, the personalities of the characters who fit so well together, and the possible character arcs each can fulfill
~Flio and Rys hunting down the psycho-bears and taking one as a pet instead of prey and then turning the bear into an adorable little unicorn-rabbit-thing to keep all appearances gentle, if only at first—too adorable right there! My otaku heart can barely take it!
~And Rys’s selflessness and determined, protective, undeniable love for Flio! When an enemy of theirs went in for an attack to kill Flio, Rys jumped in between them and took the hit in lieu of Flio, sacrificing herself to save her dearest husband—I could feel her love for him through reading the manga, and I couldn’t put down the book even once until it was finished!
Before, I said my favorite characters were Banaza/Flio and Fenrys/Rys. Now, I’ve come to second-guess my untrust in the Dark One… Maybe because he’s fallen in love with Balirossa? I originally said Balirossa was a Captain of the Guard to the human kingdom, but that wasn’t right at all. She’s just an adventurer trying to reclaim a positive reputation and honor to her family name… and she now lives on the farm with Flio and Rys and their small group of adventurer friends. I like the Dark One because he seems more “human” every time he visits Flio and Rys, constantly seeking time to be alone with Balirossa, who’s too shaken up and unsure to know for certain that she returns his feelings—their relationship is so cute!
I felt thrilled, excited, and captivated as I read this page-turner of a manga novel, and after doing a bit of research on an English dubbed anime adaptation of the Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers series, which found me nothing, I felt my heart positively ache from a lack of such manga magic brought to screentime!
Although I could be basic and predictable and say, this whole book was my favorite part—no, this whole series is my favorite part! I won’t, in truth, because my favorite part in this book was when the forces of Klyrode and the demonkind approached Flio and Rys to demand they pick a side on who to fight for in this human VS. demon war. Flio was so fed up with being harassed to join both forces that he used his unlimited magic and took the whole land of his farm, his loyal found family of friends, and their farmhouse to a new location while using transport magic that hid them all from Klyrode and demons, if only for the moment—that scene was so powerful, stunning art-wise, and I felt I was right there with the fictional characters, too!
If there’s anything at all I can think of that I disliked about this book, it’s that the book ended, and that I only have one more manga novel to continue with. I regret not buying the whole series when I had the chance at my local Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago—ack! But that should almost be expected, by this point, because to give a manga series a chance, my literary OCD has me buying the first three volumes in any manga saga I read to give it a chance to hit my mental bookshelf of loved manga novels, ha-ha! Do you feel that way, too? LIKE this video now if you agree!
Lately, all I’ve wanted to read are romantic suspense novels, thrillers, and manga novels with video game vibes to them. It isn’t like I’m excited in that way by silly stats announced on the pages of manga novels, but there’s something about it I appreciate as a lover of high fantasy as a genre, and fantasy video games like Rune Factory, which this book reminds me of, if only a bit. I loved the originality of this manga, how I haven’t come across much fictional literature like it, western-civ books or other manga novels like this, and that (to my knowledge) the plot continues into many more volumes, of which I’m here for all and everything! I seriously loved this manga, and I’m nowhere near ready to set it aside. My inner otaku is screeching maniacally for so much more! This is now a new favorite manga series of mine!

Flio was so fed up with being harassed to join both forces that he used his unlimited magic and took the whole land of his farm, his loyal found family of friends, and their farmhouse to a new location while using transport magic that hid them all from Klyrode and demons, if only for the moment—that scene was so powerful, stunning art-wise, and I felt I was right there with the fictional characters, too!
If there’s anything at all I can think of that I disliked about this book, it’s that the book ended, and that I only have one more manga novel to continue with. I regret not buying the whole series when I had the chance at my local Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago—ack! But that should almost be expected, by this point, because to give a manga series a chance, my literary OCD has me buying the first three volumes in any manga saga I read to give it a chance to hit my mental bookshelf of loved manga novels, ha-ha! Lately, all I’ve wanted to read are romantic suspense novels, thrillers, and manga novels with video game vibes to them. It isn’t like I’m excited in that way by silly stats announced on the pages of manga novels, but there’s something about it I appreciate as a lover of high fantasy as a genre, and fantasy video games like Rune Factory, which this book reminds me of, if only a bit. I loved the originality of this manga, how I haven’t come across much fictional literature like it, western-civ books or other manga novels like this, and that (to my knowledge) the plot continues into many more volumes, of which I’m here for all and everything! I seriously loved this manga, and I’m nowhere near ready to set it aside. My inner otaku is screeching maniacally for so much more! This is now a new favorite manga series of mine!

An enjoyable light-hearted isekai. The fact that the protagonist refuses to choose a side in the very old war helps to sell the wonderful tone.

Plusieurs mois après ma lecture du premier tome, je me replonge enfin dans ce manga que j’avais beaucoup apprécié. J’étais impatiente de me replonger dans cet univers. Et ça m’a fait très plaisir de me mettre enfin à continuer cette saga. Ce second tome était tout aussi plaisant que le premier. On continue d’avancer dans l’histoire, de découvrir de plus en plus l’univers, les personnages etc. Je suis encore plus impatiente de découvrir les tomes suivants pour en découvrir encore plus sur tout ça. Surtout lorsque je vois comment ce second tome se termine! Ça donne vraiment envie de se plonger dans la lecture de la suite.
Dans ce second tome, on retrouve le personnage de Banaza qui a pris le nom de Furio pour cacher son identité. Aux côtés de Fenrys, la fille démon qu’il a acceptée comme épouse, il aspire à commencer une nouvelle vie paisible. Toutefois, les échos de sa puissance démesurée parviennent jusqu’aux oreilles de la capitale et même à celles du Roi Démon! Ils se ruent donc tous vers Furio pour tenter de s’accaparer sa force. Afin d’échapper à ces sollicitations qui troublent le calme de sa petite vie tranquille. Furio décide d’utiliser un sort de téléportation pour trouver un nouvel endroit où vivre.
J’ai beaucoup aimé ce second tome. On retrouve Furio qui vit sa vie paisiblement entouré de Fenrys et des autres. Ils s’occupent d’un potager et compagnie. On ne cesse de solliciter Furio pour l’avoir dans ses rangs, tant il est puissant. Sauf que Furio ne l’entend pas de cette façon. Lui tout ce qu’il veut, c’est vivre sa vie tranquillement entouré de son épouse, Fenrys. J’aime beaucoup le personnage de Furio justement. J’aime beaucoup également la façon dont l’histoire est mené. On a pas mal de scènes de combats et entre deux on est plus sur un tranche de vie. J’aime beaucoup ça.
La fin de ce second tome nous promet une suite plus que palpitante. Le danger rôde désormais suite à ce que le prétendu héros a fait.. Ça nous promet un troisième tome haut en couleur et je sens qu’il va se passer beaucoup de choses maintenant.. J’ai vraiment hâte de découvrir ce qu’il va se passer désormais avec ce génie de sortie. D’ailleurs, je m’en vais dévorer la suite immédiatement. J’ai vraiment besoin de savoir ce qu’il va se passer et j’ai surtout beaucoup de questions qui attendent des réponses!

Critique des 2 premiers volumes :
Avec ce titre on nous démontre que les apparences peuvent être trompeuses là où on croit que notre personnage clé est un zéro on se rend vite compte que finalement il est juste surpuissant on nous démontre aussi que oui le roi peut avoir besoin de lui mais comme au moment de l’invocation il a préféré se débarrasser du naze ce n’est pas parce qu’il est roi qu’on lui pardonnera sont comportement. Notre protagoniste a un but et il compte bien s’y tenir. Bref un manga super sympa j’ai hâte de lire la suite dans un an. J’ai adoré ce qu’on nous montre dans les premiers volumes et j’ai déjà quelques personnages chouchou .
