Catarina rozwala system

📘 My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! Manga, Vol. 6 by Nami Hidaka
⭐ Rating: 5/5 🍫💌😵‍💫

📖 Summary:
At this point, watching Katarina dodge romance is like watching someone walk through a landmine field blindfolded while humming. EVERYONE wants her. She still thinks it’s friendship. And honestly? I’m rooting for the doom flag at this point, just to force someone to kiss her.

This volume leans even harder into the “everyone is down bad except the protagonist” trope. Love letters are flying. Emotional confessions are peeking through. There’s literal dueling over her affections. And Katarina? Oblivious. Baking. Gardening. Spinning in a field like she’s not the central object of a kingdom-wide romantic crisis.

💖 Favorite Character / Theme:
Katarina Claes: bisexual himbo savior of horny nobility. Her harem is now fully unhinged. You can feel the desperation in every conversation. She still thinks Mary is just clingy and Geordo is just “very sweet.” Girl, wake up.

Themes?
✨ Emotional starvation in a pastel wrapper
✨ Unrequited harem agony
✨ “Why is everyone so intense lately?”—she says, as a noble sets fire to his future for her

🔥 Smut Level:
Still none. But the way Geordo looks at her like he’s begging for a sign? Mary touching her hand like it’s holy? Keith having breakdowns in the corner? It’s all very 🔥
#SmutTags: #DoomFlagThirstTrap #GeordoCantBreathe #MaryHasWeddingPlans #HaremCrackdownImminent

⚠️ Trigger Warnings:
Jealousy, manipulation (light), mild noble scandal tension, emotionally volatile confession vibes

👥 Read this if you like:
Reverse harems where everyone’s ready to murder each other for one brainless gremlin
Sapphic side-staring with unspoken vows
Emotional edging that has lasted SIX. WHOLE. VOLUMES.

❌ Skip if:
You need payoff (this book is foreplay incarnate)
You’re not built for romantic suffering and secondhand pining

Summary:

You know how the story goes. A high school girl wakes up to a new life – quite literally, for she's been reborn as Catarina Claes, a villainess and spoiled daughter of a duke. In other words, a big pain in the butt.

Catarina Claes has been kidnapped. However, this isn't your typical kidnapping. That isn't Catarina's life. While everyone else is panicking about her safety, Catarina will delve into the mystery behind it all – while missing some significant social cues.

Review:

As always, this latest volume of My Next Life as a Villainess (well, the latest for me) was a delight. Catarina has a way of getting herself into the strangest situations. More notably, she has a way of dealing with these situations. In true reverse harem fashion, it always works out in the most unexpected ways.

My Next Life as a Villainess Vol. 6 concludes the plot arc revolving around her kidnapping while starting a couple of secondary plots. These plots will grow with time, I know. I find one much more interesting than the other (I want to learn more about certain characters introduced in this volume).

I feel like they heightened the whole "Catarina is oblivious" point. It's gone beyond comical levels and is pretty much just the trope of the series. I still love it, even when taken to such extremes. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Highlights:
Isekai
Strong Humor
Clueless Lead
Dating Sim Game
Reverse Harem

Trigger Warnings:
Kidnapping

Niestety los chciał inaczej i zostaje ona porwana!

Notes:

-This volume properly introduces the older princes and their fiancées.

-Katarina being kidnapped might've hinted at a bigger plot/conspiracy concerning the royal succession. And that it would lead to something beyond what was done before in this story.

-But this is first and foremost a romcom, so I won't hold out for a deeper narrative. Not to say that some romcoms don't have a deep narrative... you know what I mean. At least, I hope you do.

-

-I know Katarina is adorbs with her dense and airheaded personality and the comedy takes much from it, but there's a thing called maturity. Adding Katarina's soul/mind ages, she would be around 25 years old if we're counting from her "waking up as a reincarnation" plus her 17 in the og world. Then again, even in RL some people don't act mature at all even if they're supposed to be.

-Tbh, it's now getting on my nerves. The other characters are developing and maturing and she stays the same.

-Going forward, I've read the few chapters after the events in volume six. In my opinion, so far, it should've stopped there even if it remained open-ended. Unless, there's a change in how the story and characters are developed, my rating for this series will continually go down.

Katalina has been kidnapped! And this could cause extreme upheavals in the political sphere because they want Jeord to give up his claim to the throne. But this is Katalina who still believes this is a game and that Jeord doesn't actually like her... Hoo boy... Let's just say this volume takes two or three twists (the return of dark magic) (there's a new villain/romantic rival) (there're people who aren't what they seem) and ever so casually reminds the reader that the plot of this world was originally based on an otome game.

It's time to capture all the hearts and hopefully Katalina will get a good ending.

Katarina has been kidnapped, and the world has been turned upside down. I felt that volume 5 started a new arc but I also feel most of it comes to a conclusion at the end of this volume. Maybe I am too used to One Piece arcs being so long... but I felt this was quicker than I thought it should be. Before this volume ends you see the signs of the next story arc which is indeed interesting. I will say that this entire world is a safe, fun one...but also very entertaining. You will enjoy reading this safe book where nothing too bad will occur, but that is indeed part of the charm of it all.

Obsessed with everything involving Sora’s backstory and alias Rufus Brode. The brooch promise seals the deal for me—I choose him for her (the light novels go more indepth with this incident and scene). With him, she can live a care-free life away from royalty and nobility expectations and culture. Selena is so precious and must be protected at all costs! I think Ian and she would be a good fit next in line for the throne. Anyways, I love these characters, the silliness, and it's just a fun series that puts me in a good mood.

I swear, Katarina is the only character that could manage to get kidnapped and still somehow live her best life. I was dying with how hilarious she is. Nothing fazes her, she just wants to eat good food and chill. It's no wonder she has a hoard of men and women in love with her. And bless their hearts she's just too innocent to realize it. Best series ever.

Another fun one, but I seem to remember the storyline from the light novel. This is the problem of reading them intermittently, and neither the light novel nor the manga in complete series because the library acquires them oddly. But I'd rather read them hit-and-miss than not at all.

Short story is basically a magical AU. Katarina fights monsters who remind her of Alexander. The boys are the enemies, though they don’t really fight so much as bicker. For once, Keith isn’t interested in his sister but he is friendly to her.

I get the feeling that the story itself isn’t actually that great, I just love Katarina so much as a protagonist that it makes up for it… 😆

Extremely funny! Katerina's kidnappers are deeply confused by her reactions to being kidnapped, which to be fair are mostly "can I have more snacks, please?" and "what a nice bed!"

Prince Jeffrey is hilarious, and Susanna is super cool! Sora is also an interesting addition. Only deducted a star because I want to punch Jeord in the face (but what else is new?).
