When I awakened as a vampire, I should have been immortal.

Instead, I’m dying.

For reasons unknown, I can’t drink human blood. Starving and desperate, my lover Grant and I have been forced to turn to the most powerful creature in Las Vegas for help - the very same vampire who sired Grant three centuries earlier.

But even the King of the Vampires couldn’t have anticipated what the consequences of helping me would be - or that summoning assistance from the Realm of the Fae would set in motion a chain of events that could topple the balance of power in the supernatural kingdom.

For Wills, ambitious King of the Unseelie Fae Court, knows that I’m the granddaughter of Jareia, King of the Seelie Fae Court. In the belief that my Fae heritage could be the key to toppling Jareia’s tyrannous reign, he’s used this opportunity to steal me away.

Now, I’m trapped in the strange, magical Realm of the Fae - far from Grant and anybody else who could help me. I’ve got nothing but my wits and my untested magic to rely on - and unless I can help King Wills depose my own grandfather, I’ll be forced to marry him, instead.

I’d barely begun my new life as a vampire. Is this how I’ll be forced to spend the rest of it?

Captive in the second in the Kelly Kennedy Series by Jamie L. Biggs - continuing a fast-paced, paranormal romance set within the seductive, supernatural underworld of Las Vegas.

Please use a proof reader!

Not sexy. Not romantic. Repetitive and sack the proof reader.
After reading thrown instead of throne for the 20th time, and various glitches in grammar, it was like reading a book that had been badly translated into English.
Awful.

sloppy

The story doesn’t flow very easily in some spots. There are a ton of grammar and punctuation mistakes along either with character and place names changing, sometimes multiple times. I could’ve lived without reading this series. W

👍🏻 An amazing plot, seamlessly blended characters, it has a very unique and interesting storyline that keeps you hanging for more!❤
👍🏻 The book starts with a twist, continues with a suspense that keeps you want to knowing more. It has everything, vampires and fae, fated mates, loyalty of the coven.🧛🏻‍♂️🧚🏻‍♀️
Kelly finds herself trapped in fae-land between a war. Her only way put is to overthroen her Grandfather by marrying Wills!
Will Grant find her in the fae realm to rescue her? Or will she be held CAPTIVE and forced to become the Queen of the Fae?
👍🏻My recommendation: If you are looking for a paranormal romance, a vampire love story, with fae magic, this book is for you🖤

Too Stupid for Words.

The first book was readable so I decided to download the second in the series as it's on Kindle Unlimited. What a load of rubbish this is. I probably would have enjoyed it if I was a teen but those days are long past. Consequently I've given it a one star 🌟 rating.

I found this book to be engaging and an easy read. I loved the characters. Jamie Biggs created great tension and difficult situations for her characters. I enjoyed seeing how they dealt with the various situations and I enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters.

Fantastic Continuation

I love strong powerful female leads who can hold their own, but have a softness as well. Warrior Queens unite!
