Being a rock star was all Noah Healy could think of when he was growing up. When his dreams came true, he was happy to live his life behind.
Years took their toll, and while his band, Diagnosis, was once all the rage, they are no longer on anyone's radar. Noah has faded into the background, and he can't even get a new song out to help turn things around.
It's only when a snowstorm forces the band bus off the road on the way to a pre-Christmas gig that Noah is pushed back to the past - back to a place he has tried to forget, and back to a girl that may hold the key to turning his holiday and his life around.
Such a fun Hallmark style Christmas read with some spice thrown in. The FMC AND MMC are two of the sweetest people and you can’t help but fall in love with them.
This book was such an amazing treat for me because it has steam, angst, Holiday sweetness, and so many emotions. Noah is in a band that use to be pretty big but over the years have declined yet they are still touring and while traveling to a tour stop a huge snow storm occurs leaving them stranded in the one place Noah never thought he would see again. Over the last ten years Noah has had some regrets that has interfered with his writing skills but now he has a chance to not only learn how to let the pain go but set things right. When He runs into Emma after all these years he finally sees her as the beautiful hardworking woman she is and these feelings he has for her are not going away so they start to build on a friendship that has potential for more. Noah and Emma both are book magic but together they explode off the pages. I loved the family dynamic, the big gesture, the steam, and even I couldn’t help but want to punch Ray and Alan and Grace. Overall this is a perfect Holiday read that you can’t put down but never want it to end.
For What It’s Worth 🎄🎶 ➖rating: 4/5 ⭐️’s ➖steam: 2.5/5 🌶’s This book was everything I wanted in a holiday romance! It’s sweet and fluffy, but it still managed to hit me in the feels with some of the heavier storylines. Noah & Emma had so much chemistry from the get-go and I loved how natural their relationship development felt. You truly can’t help but root for these two! The writing was also really lovely in this one! It was so easy to imagine everything about this beautiful little town and the overall Christmas theme made the book feel extra cozy! read if you love: ➖small town romances ➖dual 3rd person pov ➖immaculate Christmas vibes 🎄 ➖swoon-worthy grand gestures 🎶 ➖incredibly relatable characters!! ➖cozy family dynamics 💞 Overall, For What It’s Worth is an emotionally jam packed/genuinely heartwarming read and I highly recommend adding it to your holiday TBR! Thank you so much to @scarletlanternpublishing for sending me an arc of this lovely book 🖤
This was my first rockstar romance and I really enjoyed it. Can you imagine your crush playing the piano and singing while staring right at you? Insert *swoon*
This contemporary romance was about a small town girl named Emma. She has lived in this town her whole life and everybody knows everybody. When a storm hits, it brings an old friend of her brothers back into town when he and his band mates can’t travel in the snow covered streets.
Noah remembers Emma as a teenager who followed her brother and him around all the time, but she’s not a teenager anymore. She has grown into a beautiful, caring woman who has put her dreams on hold for others.
Are her dreams beyond the town limits of Emerald Lake or are her dreams in her hometown?
Emma and Noah’s relationship was super sweet and flirty. He was also very protective of her which I love in a MMC. Emma takes care of everyone else and I was happy to see someone take care of her in return.
This was a sweet, romantic Christmas read. Both Noah and Emma were so likeable. Emma had a crush on Noah when she was 14. He would visit with her brother when they were on holiday from college. 10 years later fate brings Noah back to Emerald Lake and back into Emma’s life. It was a little slow in the beginning which is why I dropped half a star but once their romance bloomed I didn’t want to put the book down. There was more to the story as well. Noah coming to terms with his actions when Emma’s brother died, Ray getting his long overdue comeuppance, the found family aspect for Noah with the Birch family and the way family come together at Christmas. This is a perfect book for anyone looking for a holiday read with heart.
Noah Healy is in a band that was once popular but whose name has pretty much faded away from the public eye. They still tour a little, but on the way to a pre-Christmas performance, their bus can’t proceed through the huge snowstorm they encounter. They are stuck in the one place he never thought he would see again.
Noah runs into his past, Emma, and all his feelings for her return. Can they bring back their old friendship? Could they possibly want more than that? What will the future hold for them?
This was a good holiday read. Perfect for getting into the swing of the Christmas season and making wishes that will hoped be granted come Christmas Day. For Noah and Emma, it was reconnecting and revealing their feelings for each other. It was ridding Noah of the guilt he felt after he lost his best friend Paul who was Emma’s brother. I was realizing who they were and letting their love grow.
I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.
I will admit that normally I shy away from Christmas books and movies as they are too cliché for my liking. But when I was given the opportunity to read an ARC I jumped at the chance as I know I enjoy Michael Geraghty's writing. While there is some of the cliché in there, Geraghty turns it into a bit of a joke as he reunites Noah with his past and makes him face him face the guilt that he has carried around with him. This is a feel good story that I highly recommend.
This was a cute holiday read! The story follows a small town girl and her reuniting with her brothers best friend turned rock star. From the very first chapters, the author hooks you in and keeps you interested. The storyline is cute and is definitely a "feel good" HEA.
I am enjoying this author. A wonderful holiday story about reconnecting, getting your priorities straight, family (both chosen and biological), and love. A feel good read that will put a smile on your face. I received this ARC and voluntarily give my review.

This was such a great quick Holiday story!! Rockstar gets stranded in a small town due to a snowstorm. Come to find out he used to spend a lot of time in this small town and the night clerk is his old best friend sister . Read to find out what happens !
A good second chance for Noah Healy and Emma Birch that I enjoyed reading. This is a new Author to me. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
**ARC copy sent by Michael Geraghty's PR team for an honest review** 3 Stars 2 Spice It seems like fate steps in when classic rocker, Noah Healy's tour bus stops in a small town hours away from the city of their next show. It only takes him a moment to realize, he knows this particular small town from his past. And none other than his best friend's sister is working behind the counter of the only hotel in town. Sparks fly as they walk down memory lane, making new memories around town together.
It's definitely cute and definitely very holiday-themed. The characters are sweet and you do find yourself pulling for Emma and Noah very quickly. It's a great winter/Holiday read and very cute and full of fluff.
The climax of the plot felt a little forced. For a good chunk of this book, I was wondering what the main plot was going to be, and when it showed up it felt a little "thrown in." I understand the fight Noah gets into with a bandmate, and even a little that Emma got caught in the crossfire and Noah gets blamed for it. But the arresting officer having a crush on Emma, while it is mentioned prior to this plot, he's barely mentioned and it's more of a throw away plot point prior to this. And, the Judge was aware that same officer increased the charges unfairly but STILL ordered the no contact for 48 hours? I don't know, that part is not only far fetched (I've never known a judge to order a no contact when he dismisses the charges attached to it all WITHOUT a complaining victim/witness), and just felt like "we need a reason they can't be together."
Overall, if you just want a happily ever after read filled with Holiday Themes and sweetness, then it's a cute read.

What a sweet, light-hearted, fluffy, contemporary romance! All of that was wrapped up into a fantastic, must read holiday book! This is the perfect book to easily get lost in and binge on a cold evening while snuggles up in your favorite blanket!
• Small town romance (yes, please!) 🩷 • He’s a Rockstar 💋🎸 • Beautiful family dynamics 🥹 • “Don’t speak to her that way or I’ll kick you a**” vibes 😮💨 • The perfect amount of spice 🌶️🤤 • Conflict/tension with a beautiful resolution at the end
I am so thankful to have received this book as a digital ARC from the author and his PR team!
My first book by Michael and I have to say it was very cute and sad in parts. This short romance is very well written and it’ll suck you in and want you wanting more. I enjoyed the journey the two main characters went on to find each other.
Emma is the sister of Noah’s best friend who passed away. Noah comes back to their small town when his tour bus gets stuck and they have to find shelter from the snow. Emma realizes who it is and blown away she gets to see Noah again after so long. She always had a crush on him when he came home a few times with her brother. They catch up & they find out they have feelings for each other, while coming across other obstacles during their journey.
Wow, I’m shocked at how much I loved this book! It is a short, sweet, cute back story, with great character development, a nice plot, an amazing family dynamic, disability representation, and such a lovely ending! It’s likeHallmarkk, Nicholas Sparks and Tessa Bailey had a baby, which was this book. I’d love to read more of his work, this will probably sound awful but I’m shocked a man wrote this kind of love story. I thought Nicholas Sparks was it but this guy has me excited for more.
I received this book as an arc copy and absolutely loved it!! This was the perfect Christmas romance book for the holiday season. The way Noah and Emma found their way back to each other after so many years made my heart happy. The ending made me have such a big smile on my face for Noah and Emma’s happy ending. Definitely recommend reading and thank you Micheal for sending me a copy of your book! 💗
I really enjoyed this book! This is a Christmas-themed rockstar, small town romance with some spice. This was a quick read and once I started reading, I didn’t want to stop. The MMC and FMC were lovable characters and some of the side characters even showed some character growth. I recommend checking out this book especially during this holiday season.
This was such a wholesome read! I absolutely loved the characters and the plot! It was an absolutely beautiful story with a bit of spice! If you want a short lovely Christmas read this is the one! 10/10 would recommend!
