The super-serious, pushy high school fashion designer, Chihiro, has told our Michi that he fell in love with her at first sight. The two spend the evening of the school's culture festival together and now their feelings have finally reached one another. So many new firsts happen for the two of them. There's their overnight trip to Tokyo, Chihiro's birthday, and more! Chihiro's doting affection for Michi only speeds up now that he's her boyfriend, and it's about to make her heart explode...! Amidst all of this, Michi sees Chihiro starting to become more and more active as a designer, and that starts to make her anxious...
Chihiro-kun's and Michi's relationship progresses with, Chihiro-kun's birthday approaching. Michi goes to buy a birthday present for him and is suddenly approached by new rival Yuna, who helps with the birthday shopping.
Without giving too much away, determination and miscommunication occur between the two, ending the volume with Yuna approaching Michi.
I like that with this volume, we got to see Chihiro and Michi want to make progress as individuals outside of their relationship. It was interesting to see considering the basis of their want was to help the other out, and I found that really sweet. I was surprised at who the potential love rival ended up being, since I wasn’t sure how he’d interact with either Chihiro or Michi. However, I’m not against it and am curious to see how that plays out.
