Hating Piper
My favorite charity asked for my help. It sounded so simple—twelve dates in twelve different cities during my summer tour. All I had to do was show up, take a few pictures with the highest bidder, pretend to have a good time, and move on. Pretty easy, right?

Hating Piper was the eighth book in the Rockers’ Legacy series by Terri Anne Browning. The series was a spinoff to Browning’s original Rocker series, but could be read out of order.
Cannon Cage was the son to Axton and Dallas (book seven, original series) and sister to Shaw (Wanting Shaw, book five). He was the trouble maker as a child and was eventually sent to military school. He did, however, ultimately follow in his father’s footsteps and became a world famous Rocker. And although he was a total ass as a child, he deserved a second chance.
Piper Bryant was the daughter to Liam and Gabriella Bryant (book ten, original series). Also following in her parents footsteps, she was the lead in her own rock band and was a total spitfire, just like her mom.
Browning took us back to key moments in their childhood for the backstory demonstrating the taunting between Cannon and Piper. She then brought us to the present with Cannon’s determination to show Piper that he was a changed man and they were destined to be together.
As expected with these two, there were many explosive, sexy, serious and fun moments. I would have liked a little more detail and depth in some areas, but all in all, I enjoyed both characters tremendously and it was a quick and enjoyable read. Trinity is up next in Shattering Trinity and it looks to be another explosive storyline!

My rating: 3 stars
What I liked: I enjoyed reading how Cannon changed especially from the punk he used to be. I loved seeing a glimpse of how Shaw and Jagger are doing and of course Emmie.
What I didn’t like: Unfortunately, this book was just ok. Believe me I thinks it a me thing and not the book. I personally don’t like when the woman is more in control of the sexy time instead of the guy. Again, nothing against the book I just prefer Alpha men who take control and not give (even though I know why he did and I’m glad he did because it definitely showed that he change).
Details/Triggers: H bullied the h when they were younger. We later find out that he bullied her because he felt things for her and he didn’t like it. Later h and H are on tour together and the h is doing a charity were she will go on dates. The H buys all the dates to show the h that he has change and he wants her. So they go on dates and h starts to realize the H has change. The H does mess up by saying something rude to the h but later he beats a guy up for messing with the h. So they make up and are officially dating. h unfortunately gets assaulted by the record company’s son and the H beats him up and is arrested. He gets out but the h’s dad thinks he is the one to hurt his daughter. He starts accusing him and brings up when the H hurt Violet. h hearing this for the first time runs. h’s dad realizes the H was innocent and he beat up the guy who hurt the h. h after thinking things through has the H go to the club where she tells him that she loves him. HEA
Final thoughts: Again this book was just ok. I definitely will be reading Jarrett and Trinity’s story.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Hating Piper is the eighth book in the ‘’rocker’s legacy’’ series.
This story is short (220pgs), fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Piper and Cannon have never got along. From a young age, Cannon made Piper’s life hell. Years later Cannon has changed and he wants Piper. Will he get Piper to take a chance at love with him? When Piper agrees to twelve dates for charity, she doesn’t expect her enemy/childhood bully to buy them. What will happen between Piper and Cannon?
The chemistry between Cannon and Piper is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked the tension between them and the build up to them getting together. I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of Cannon in Shaw/Violets books. I disliked him even more early on in this book. I hated the way he treated Piper. That being said, he did grow on me. I could see his love for Piper.
I loved Piper’s friendships with Hymn and Trinity.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series. I cannot wait for Trinity’s book!

Ok so I love TAB, her series are the best and I have loved every single one of the books she has published so I was not surprised by loving the story of Piper and Cannon, the way he has redeemed himself trough the previous books and the hints of their relationship in Shaw and Jags story was cute, and then we meet also Hymn and Trinity and I want to know more about them!!! The cute flashbacks to their story was nice to read but I missed the rest of their family!!!! I know the rockers had their time to shine and now it's time for the new gen but omg after the big thing that happens to Piper I though daddy Liam would show his face sooner and have more interaction with her and Cannon, we just got a brief scene, and nothing of Asher, where was him? I needed a sibling scene for those two!!! Not my favorite of all the series but still loved it!!! ❤

Pretty good
There seemed to be a lot going on in this installment, and it kind of felt like nothing got the full amount of attention that was needed to feel fulfilled. I really liked these two together, after everything that has happened with Cannon in the past I am very happy to see him get his HEA. I wish this book would have been longer to provide a little more detail for any one of the events happening, there was just a lot happening in the background and it felt like we got the highlights. I adore this author and everything that she writes about this group, it just felt a little unfinished.

all the feels
TAB didn’t disappoint with this love story. Anyone that’s read the Rocker Series knows Cannon. They’ve felt the displeasure in reading how bad he is, what he’s done to make fans dislike him with a passion. But like his father, there is redemption. Seeing how Piper battles her own trust in Cannon, but ultimately falls for the guy that has made changes, makes this story full of feel good. This story brought out so many emotions. I cry about the treatment that Cannon gave Piper. Then awed and gasped over they absolutely sweet way that he tried to regain her trust. This author always writes the most emotional books for me and they always comes full circle. The way that the characters have to work just enough to get their love and hold on to it really makes the book for me. I would definitely recommend and as always check triggers.

Childhood Bully Turned Into Life Love
Wow! Terri Anne Browning still weird the,best love stories. It all began with her MC series, then the Rocker series, then both Series’ second generation books! Each book so good, I read them as soon as each are released! I can’t wait for her new books to come out! Otherwise, I go back and re-read and listen to all my favorite books she has written! Never disappointed!

OMG
Baby Cage might be my new favorite!! This book was well worth the wait. I was skeptical about it because of Cannon’s past behavior and then because of the first two prologues, but my tune has definitely changed. I also enjoyed how he put everything in Piper’s hands and gave her the chance to push the relationship instead of how many other characters just go for it. It was a nice change of pace but I still LOVED growly, possessive Cannon!! 100/10

Great redemption story
I have been looking forward to this book and am a sucker for a good redemption story. Terri Anne Browning did not disappoint. I could not put this book down. I knew I would either love Cannon or hate him. TAB did an amazing job with Cannon and his redemption. Cannon and Piper's chemistry was great. I wish this book was longer. It would have been amazing to see Cannon and Piper's love grow. Overall this book was a hit and I cannot wait for the next.

Such a great read

I loved the dynamic of he and Piper and the fact that things between them were taken slowly because of their past. I can't wait to see what Terri has for us next. If you want a good romance, then Terri Anne Browning is an author to read. I have everyone of her books. I have read them over and over again.

Loved this completely!!!

3.5 stars rounded up. It was great being back in the rocker world again. Reminders of the other characters that pop back up brought back the joy of reading the rocker series for the first time. This story of Gabriel and Liam’s son and Axton and Dallas’s daughter was just ok. Looking forward to Trinity’s book. Fingers crossed for Lucy and Harris mentions.

I went from loathing Cannon to loving him with this book. He definitely proved to Piper that he not only loved het but that he was worthy of her heart I loved that Piper made him work for it ,she did not make it easy. Another outstanding book in this series!!!

Another good and quick read in the Rocker’s legacy series… Cannon and Piper’s story. Wow, just wow! I love this series and these characters. I just hate the length of time it takes to get the next book. Piper and cannon are two of my favorites. Their childhood differences and tormenting show how much he loves her. She has such a kind heart and soul to forgive him. Can’t wait for more, please hurry!

Great book!!
It has been awhile for this book to come out with everything happening in the world today, but it was well worth the wait!! Enjoyed it immensely. It only took a few hours ,I was caught up in it and it was finished!! I love the rocker series, hope you continue writing about all of them.

I have read every book written by this author and this is the first time she has ever done a fade to black on the sex scenes. I’m not sure why this was done but I really hope she never writes sex scenes like this again - I kept going back a page thinking I must have missed something. Least favorite of the series by far - so disappointed :(

Siente que Terri me quedo debiendo con esta historia, yo suponía que era una historia de enemies to lovers pero la verdad no sentí que fuera así, si en la niñez se odiaban pero "normal" como niños.
Como que no sentí que se construyera la historia de amor entre Cannon y Pipper, suponía que íbamos a ver esas 12 citas y como se iba dando su relación pero pues solo llegamos a la tercera cita.

Love this book
I have being waiting for this book for a long time. I couldn't stop reading this book. I thought Cannon had feelings for Piper in several other books in the series and I was not disappointed. I love this book but, I have every book in this series. Another book in this series I will read several times. I CAN'T wait for for Trinity's book!!!

The Rockers is one of my FAVORITE series!! I auto preorder when I see one is coming out, never been disappointed. Loved Piper and Cannon story, keep them coming Terri you are the BEST!! Time for a re-read miss Jesse, Layla, Nik, Lucy, Shane, etc......

Love all the rocker
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Its a book I couldn't put down. Baby Cage and Pipes had to endure tough situations to get to where they needed in the end. #GREATBOOK#AWESOMEREAD#LOVEDIT

Hmmm a 3.5
I dont know why but I didn't love this one as !such as the previous. It has Terris usual great writing but I didn't feel the connection to the characters. Still worth reading but definitely not my fav.

Loves this series!
I ha e been waiting for Cannon's story and didn't see him ending up with Pipes as his happy ending but it was perfect! Every story she gives to all her characters are amazing. Terri is one of my all time favorite authors and I hope she keeps these books coming!!

Did not like the description suggesting regular boy/girl relationships and then after buying it finding out I would have to read about bi/pan/trans relationships. Wouldn’t have spent my money. Did not finish.
