True love doesn't always come in a velvet box or wrapped with a bow...
This was it. The weekend Josephine had imagined her entire life. Her boyfriend was going to propose. The ring, one of his family’s heirlooms, was exactly as she'd always imagined her engagement ring would be.
A bookie looking for her new fiancé, however, had never been part of her fantasies. Nor had she ever imagined having to give up the ring before she could even put it on. Nor, for that matter, had her plan ever included her fiancé pulling a vanishing act the night he was set to propose.
Not that the universe seemed to care about her or her plans.
Thankfully she still has family nearby to lean on. Sort of. Her mother's ex-husband welcomes her into his home while she sorts out the mess that is her romantic life. The home he shares with his boyfriend. If only she felt anything that resembled sorted around Max and Paul. Instead her heart races and her body craves their touch whenever she was alone with them.
She can't be attracted to her once stepfather and his boyfriend, though. Could she? That would be scandalous.
In a house where everyone is off limits, she might just discover what true love is.
**Content Warning** This book contains graphic sexual content involving an ex-stepfather, his current boyfriend, and a woman who is so focused on what love and life should look like, she might very well miss her happy ending when the universe hands it to her on a silver platter. As such, it is intended for adult readers.
Very easy read though I felt like it waa kind of rushed at the end. This is the perfect type of feel good story when the heavy, angsty ones are getting overwhelming.
