Saving His Little One

Rate this book
A hardened biker. A shy Little. It would never work...right?

Izzy had suppressed her Little for as long as she could remember. But then there was HIM. Something about him made her crave his touch, his voice, his attention, and most of all his discipline.

But there’s no way her tough biker boss was a Daddy, not a chance in hell.

Xavier had been burned and swore he would never seek another Little. But then SHE came along. Something about that sweet shy girl made his Daddy sense go crazy.

But there’s no way she would want a man like him.

After a kind hearted gesture goes horribly wrong Xavier and Izzy’s paths cross in all the right ways. But can he keep her safe from the looming danger that has been following the Mountain Devils?

Enjoyable quick read

No plot spoilers
No real potential triggers although there is kidnap and human trafficking in the plotline.
There are some instances of physical abuse against a woman.
The characterisation isn't the strongest, but it's okay.
The plotline meanders a bit but it gets there in the end.
It's naively written, and comes across as a narrative rather than a storyline with well thought out motivators. To be honest it hits all the highlights for DD/lg with MC/gang tropes without providing anything deep.
There are a couple of sex scenes and some swearing.
There are some errors but nothing to get really irritated about.
I don't regret purchasing the book but I don't think I will purchase more in the series. I don't have any interest in seeing how the rest of the MC find their HEA.

cute but I had a couple issues

Sorry for spoilers, but there was one major problem I had.

The story was cute and predictable with some grammatical errors. I also agree with another reviewer that he was pretty selfish in the beginning and got on her case with NO proof which bugged me.

My major issue was this, when they first started talking about their relationship and she disclosed what happened with her ex, in the same scene he first asked if the ex ever hit her…she said yes, and moments later he gave her a spanking because she originally didn’t want to talk about the ex. No finding out if it triggered her especially after she was triggered just from him grabbing her wrist. That was super irresponsible and thoughtless of him. Plus, she was just so whatever about it. Not a daddy characteristic in my opinion.

Xavier is a part of the Mountain Devil's MC and a Daddy. He's found his Little One but needs time to make her his. Good thing she works for him. When trouble comes, he will do anything to protect her.

Izzy loves working for Xavier. All of him just brings out the Little in her. After being with her ex, she doesn't know if she has the courage to try again.

This is the first book in the Mountain Devil's MC series. I loved when Xavier was in Daddy mode. He truly had Izzy's safety in mind. Izzy was just the cutest little thing. She was such a ray of sunshine even on the stormiest of days. This was a fast-paced book with many secondary characters to make a long series. This was my first book by Asanti East and it won't be my last! 🖤

Quite good

The book was well written and kept fairly even pacing and story telling. Just seemed a bit less interested in the DDlg aspect I was looking for when I found it and more on the dangerous biker gang stuff.
Would be good to have an intro type read into the DDlg world but definitely not the full picture.
I gave it 3 stars because it felt like it needed something else to make it well rounded. And it wasn't my favorite when looking for something that falls in this kink.
I know the series isn't finished and I would definitely want to read the next book because we do get some cliff hangers on the danger that follows the end of the book.

Saving His Little One is the first book in Asanti East’s Mountain Devils MC series. In it, readers meet Isabella “Izzy” Summers and Xavier Cole. She is a curvy LG with light caramel coloring. She is trying to rebound from an abusive relationship wherein her ex, Ted, belittled and berated her continuously for her lifestyle. Xavier is a member of the Mountain Devils MC. He also owns and operates a marijuana dispensary where Izzy works. Like Izzy, Xavier is also emotionally wounded from the betrayal of his ex, Ashley. The life of a MC is dangerous and often filled with deceit, corruption, and betrayal as both Izzy and Xavier discover. Will they be able to work out their differences? Will Xavier figure out what’s happening with the inner workings of his dispensary? You must read this book to find out.

I enjoyed this age-play romance. Ms. East does a great job with developing her characters, both the primary and secondary ones. I liked that she has more than one antagonist as it makes the story quite interesting. Her use of dialog, a dual POV, and descriptive language, not only endears her characters to readers but also captivates her readers’ attention. Nicely done, Ms. East.

Sweetheart of a story

I have followed Ms East since she published her first two books. They were great but this one is my favorite! I have read books with the little theme but very few have IR couples. Excellent character development…..Xavier was so kind but strong and Izzy was sweet and mild without being a total doormat. The love scenes were tasteful and the action exciting. I hope that this book is the first one in a series!

Olivia is down on her luck because her ex boyfriend is busy black balling her name in town. She finally lands a job in a shop where her unique sense of smell is a god send. Unfortnatley not all the employees are happy to have her working there. Xavier the shop owner has developed feelings for Olivia and has tasked himself to help her out where ever he can. Is Olivia going to let her ex get the better of her? Or will Xavier's staff drive her off?

Sweet IR MC Romance

This is my first book by Asanti East and I'm glad I found a new AA ✍. I don't have an interest in this trope , but with the MFC a woman of color ,it sparked my interest , and I was not disappointed. This author spun a sweet, angsty, tender story that held my attention from beginning to end. I loved this book so much, I bought the author's two other 📚 Happy Reading💃

An excellent story

Absolutely loved this. The story was exciting and engaging, not to mention the characters were absolutely fabulous. And from this book we can see more more wonderful books emerging.
I think the absolute best thing besides having a great HEA was that we saw Karma come and bite two nasty people in the toush. Lol
I really recommend this story its great!

What an incredible first book in this series! I cried at the beginning; I couldn't read fast enough at the end,. And the middle of the book? I swooned - Xavier and Izzy are perfect together. I can't wait for the next story! I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is the first book of Asanti East that I've read and I enjoyed it so much. Xavier and Izzy are meant to be together but he's going to have to work at it to make that happen. The story was well written and easy to follow. If you love MC and Daddies, you need to pick up this book!!!

Saving His Little One

This is a good DD/LG story. Short, sweet, hardly any errors.. Not much in the way of character development, but it is a short story. I am looking forward to the next in the series.

Very short

Super fast paced and was predictable. But was still cute. Just wished it was a little longer with a bit more build up for their relationship.

I really liked this story! It has very complicated characters yet they are so perfect for each other. I hope there will be more to be a series.

Nice story. Needs a proof reader. However this is a copy of Laylah Roberts MC Daddies book 1. Different names, small changes but extremely similar.

Predictable, formulaic and pretty average tbh

Nothing new, insta love, 1 dex scene decidedly boring. Storyline was basic.

Not my cup of tea

seems rushed

The story line and characters are great but the narrative seems rushed.
Feels stuck between short story and full book.

A nonstop action packed, intense and thrilling roller coaster ride to go on with Xavier and Izzy. I wasn’t a fan of the little and daddy thing but it didn’t take away from this entertaining journey.
